Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. This place is atypical of Dynacare's usual high standards.

The specialist's report specifically states that follow-up documentation can be completed through my primary care provider. Despite this, the doctor declined to write the medical leave documentation and directed me to go back to the specialist to obtain it. This was inconsistent with the specialist's written recommendation that follow-up documentation could be handled by my PCP. If you need a PCP to provide follow-up medical leave documentation based on an existing specialist assessment, this was my experience with the doctor whose last name starts with Z.

There is a computer monitor showing the patients and approximate wait time, including anyone with an appointment; there was one patient scheduled at 08:15. There are 4 cubicles. Cubicle 4 has a door that closes and has a medical bed. I was asked to go into cubicle 4 at 08:24. The technician started at 08:29. I finished at 08:32. I was told that Saturdays are their busiest day but starting at 10:00. I'm glad I came early. There were three technicians, one of whom handled the reception. There is a fourth person who seems to only do administration. The lab is wheelchair accessible.There is no free WiFi. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is wheelchair accessible. It's inside the Shoppers Drug Mart therefore not as big as other locations, since I'm not familiar with its setting, I hesitated a bit when I get there, but the front reception kept asking me to wait that it won't be long ... However, the nurse who took my blood test poked into my vein so painfully, that my arm got bruised even after a few days later. There's seating for about 20 people. The TV monitor on the wall displays the wait times before you're seen by a lab technician. Staff were polite and efficient. I was in/out in 30 minutes.

I took a chance on their word and sped to get there as soon as I could. Arrived right on time and THANK GOD - they took me in even though their door was locked. Super nice. Kept to their word. Made me feel important and like they sincerely wanted to help. They unfortunately had to refer me to the emergency at the hospital, but they were still really awesome. I will 100% recommend anyone needing medical assistance to go there. Great doctor and staff.
