I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual. While I was waiting several regular patients came in that the staff had a friendly report with, which was nice to see. Thanks for being kind and taking care of the neighbourhood!

RUN AWAY. AS FAST AS YOU CAN…read more First sign of trouble: the woman at reception is also the person who takes your blood. She was wearing latex gloves when she took my health card. No idea if she changed them or not before she took my blood. Second sign: the toilets were absolutely filthy. Wastebasket in the cubicle overflowing with wastepaper. Two signs, one that said "You are being watched! Do not steal the toilet paper! If you see someone steal the toilet paper, report to security!" and another that said--if you can believe this--"Do not stand on the toilet." UUUUHHHHHHHH WHAT?!!? They have had problems with people STANDING ON THE TOILET?? Third: see the picture. This is what my arm looked like an hour after getting blood taken. The receptionist who took my blood clearly has no idea what she is doing. This place needs to be investigated by health authorities and shut down ASAP.

I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism & care by Dr Michelle Freedman. I saw her as a…read morewalk-in patient at the Appletree at York Lanes, & her conduct was disturbing. I needed refills, and she went on & on as if she was investigator or psychiatrist. She didn't stop at asking what was my stress lately but was asking very weird questions as if she wanted to induce specific answers. I told her about harassment & discrimination by York University staff as a retaliation after I pointed out on their unethical hiring, unethical practices, & mistreatment of PhD students at the PhD in HRM. Then, she tried to convince me I need to see a psychiatrist for telling her that which gaslighting resembles the York U staff when a students points out on wrongdoings as they can't stand criticism. She said that she watches a TV show (Love & B....).. to diagnose people with disorders. Yet, she mentioned some concepts & it was clear to me she doesn't know much from that filed. She seemed confused as if she is a psychiatrist when it was clear from her comments that she doesn't even know basic stuff about some disorders (I have a degree in Psych & studied Abnormal Psych). She said she will only give me refills for two weeks & I must see her again to see if she needs to send me to a psychiatrist. This reminded me of the time in history when women were sent in asylum because someone was prejudiced or didn't like them. I have never had such experience with a medical doctor before. She was very professional & her (mis)conduct) disturbing. Her God syndrome that she is knowledgeable in psychiatry when she is not - says that she needs re-evaluation (she is older with all white hair).

Great experience here. Called around a couple of walk-in clinics and all were over an hour wait but…read morethis one was less than 20 minutes. I also really love the kiosk check in option as it's a more confidential way of informing the receptionist the reason for your visit. The doctor was really nice and seemed like she cared, and overall went the extra mile. If I lived in the area I'd make this my go-to place.
