I came here on a Saturday as I managed to get a last minute appointment having booked online. Weekend appointments, in general, are hard to get so I consider myself lucky.
It was my first time at this LifeLabs location. There is plenty of onsite parking that is free, which is a nice change from some of the other LifeLabs locations in the west Toronto area.
The LifeLabs is located in the basement. There are elevators for people with mobility issues, or you can use a short flight of stairs. The receptionists were efficient at checking people in. They have a board showing wait times and whether people have pre-booked appointments. When I arrived a few minutes before my appointment, the wait time was 14 minutes. There is a small waiting room within the office, and a handful chairs outside in the hallway. I can see how it would get crowded very fast.
The cubicles are pretty open and people in the waiting area can definitely see into them, so keep that in mind.
I was called quickly and the person taking my blood was quick at her job. I was in and out in a few minutes. read more
