Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. This place is atypical of Dynacare's usual high standards.

However - EVERY time I have gone to Dynacare and had my blood taken by Cristina, the Lab Technician, whatever magic or needle sorcery she does - it's painless and over in seconds. And she has consistently taken it quickly and painlessly over the couple years I have gone, is always calm and pleasant, and puts me at ease telling me stories or jokes. I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual. While I was waiting several regular patients came in that the staff had a friendly report with, which was nice to see. Thanks for being kind and taking care of the neighbourhood!

INSIDE airless hallway was packed FULL with a long lineup of people, NOT social distancing, standing close (they WERE wearing masks), chatting and waiting outside the lab. "Walk ins" apparently. 2. I had an appointment, walked into the small office, arrived on time and was told there were 3 people ahead of me. A polite lady behind the counter, clearly overworked and without the authority to ensure safe distancing outside of the clinic. 3. My gut did not feel right about this place and I couldn't wait to leave as soon as possible. I did not stick around. I have made another appointment, this time outside of the GTA.

I sat there for about 20-25 mins-and the lady behind the desk starts yelling at me that I need an appts-that I don"t have a MD there in the building (I do) and I will have to wait while everybody came in after me gets there're blood work done.
