I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual. Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. This place is atypical of Dynacare's usual high standards.

The staff lacks an attitude for basic service or problem solving. What should have been a swift appointment to draw a few vials of blood took two hours. After more than an hour of waiting past my appointment time, I inquired as to the wait and found that the lab was unable to access the electronic order sent by my doctor. Not a big deal, except that the staff had no intention to communicate this to me or to try to get the information from my doctor. It's likely the staff would've let me continue to wait and rot in the reception room if I didn't ask if they were going to do anything/contact my doctor. I continued to wait and was eventually moved to a clinical room despite the lab still having no physician's order. I was fed up of the staff's inaction and excuses, and called the doctor, and the order was resent within five minutes. If LifeLabs is having technical trouble/unable to open an electronic document direct from a physician, the staff should try to rectify the issue.

I had to profusely tell them to be careful. They then proceeded to tell me my baby won't sit still so they tried to duck tape him to the table. I was in shock I picked up my baby and we left both in tears. I wish I had this on video as it would shut this is place down. But I will continue to share my story and hope that this prevents anyone with a baby from ever stepping foot in this place.

Then he came in again and said ''My supervisor wants you to wait and he needs to talk to you'',...so I waited and waited and waited while the supervisor ran round and around.Finally I asked about being seen ...twice and realized I'd have to make an excuse to leave which I did saying I had another appointment.When I called my doctor they said they hadnt got the report yet.So I called Rosedale again and they said it was faxed in but they waould do it again.It turned out it was not serious and was a close the surface swelling and not a deep vein thrombosis.
