Very satisfied with the service I received from the guys at Lifeguard. I usually do my own computer work, however time can be pretty valuable. They offer a free diagnostic and the fact that they are a local shop I decided I would give them a shot, I'm glad I did. The price was very fair, the mark up for the replacement part was not crazy and the time they took diagnosing the issue along with them handling any warranty issues that may arise with the replacement power supply was well worth the extra $14 for the part as well as the cost of labor. There was even some software issues after the replacement which weren't previously known and they helped resolve those without any extra charge. A big thanks to both Elijah and Cody for the services they provided. If I need assistance in the future I will definitely be going back to them before looking elsewhere and recommend anyone in need of local service to check them out and give them a shot as well. read more

We have nothing but good to say about Lifeguard computer servi. We are taking our very first trip in our motorhome. We were unable to connectconnect8 to the RV park cable line. We called a couple of tv shops with no luck. We just happened to call Lifeguard. Cody said he didn't usually work on TV's, but he might be able to help us. We were in Virgin so he had to drive 40 miles to get to us. He came on Saturday, his day off, and after about an hour, identified the problem. We had a jumbled mess of wires that cody had to search through. He did not give u, and was so pleasant during the entire process. Here was a guy who worked outside his usual service, on his day off, driving 40 miles to solve an aggravating problem for 2 old people from out of town. Good Ol' Microsoft completed an update late last night and ended up changing the settings on my business laptop. I live in Mesquite, NV so I was up the creek without a paddle. I'm not completely ignorant on how to make changes or restore but this one baffled me. I made a call to Lifeguard Computers and Aaron said to bring it in and he would take care of the situation. For some reason the update put everything in a temp user file and it didn't update. He went through few things and finally was able to resolve the issue. He literally saved me and my business tons of money and believe me I am very, very thankful for the help and service offered and completed by Aaron. I can not give enough stars for Ammon in the Hurricane store!!! My macbook pro bit the dust and I was panicked because I adore this computer! Ammon systematically worked through my computer, going above and beyond, and even researched and talked to other techs about my computer. He gave it back to me twice and it rapidly declined so I took it back to him. Finally as a last effort he tried a fairly new technic (what could it hurt, he had done every thing possible) and it is still working 3 weeks later. My husband used to be a mac tech but things have changed so much since then and he was amazed at Ammon's knowledge and perseverance. i have used lifeguard computers in st george utah for over 10 years, they built my last desktop and have done upgrades to it and my laptop. they are very fair in their pricing and will stand behind their work. i just had a ss hard drive failure in my laptop and it was a unit they had installed. the hard drive had a manufacturers 3 year warranty and lifeguard was able to install a new hard drive and reinstall windows 10 and my office suite within 24 hours. brady the owner called me personally and went through what they needed to do to get my laptop running like new. thanks to brady and his staff for such great treatment all these years. lifeguard computers is the only business i will use for my computer needs. read more

I absolutely love Lifeguard computers! I took in my old Toshiba laptop which was having issues along with a new MacBook Air I had just purchased. He installed the programs I wanted him to on the Mac and transferred my information from my Toshiba into the cloud as well as onto my Mac. He spent Just 2-3 days getting all of this done and was very communicative with me through the whole process. I felt like he heard everything I said and did exactly what I asked him to, in a very professional and friendly manner. My MacBook Pro wasn't charging, (or at least I thought it wasn't.) I thought I needed a new battery. I was on vacation and needed a solution. I dropped it off with Brady at Lifeguard. The same day he called me back and informed me it was in fact charging and the battery health was good. I'm not sure why I couldn't recreate the laptop issues leading up to me bringing it into Lifeguard, but once they had it they were honest, fast and friendly. I called and agreed to pay for special tech help for $150 an hour. I was desperate as I teach online! When I got there, I explained to Aaron that I thought my speaker was out, and thus I could not hear my students. He did some quick tests and assured me my speaker was okay. He also checked some other minor problems I was having. We spent about 10 minutes together. When I asked my fee, he said "no charge" as I didn't actually repair anything--just give us a review." My laptop went completely black and I took it in to Cody at Lifeguard who explained they would do free diagnostic tests. After he explained that everything he could test was operating as it should, his conclusion was that the motherboard was the most likely culprit and that new parts and labor would be well over what the laptop was worth. My wife's Dell Inspiron 15 would not power up and since we have the Geek Squad service we took it there. They said it was the power supply and couldn't do anything for us. It was critical that we get the Documents folder copied to a thumb drive but they said they couldn't keep power on long enough to do it. Aaron took it apart, found the problem in the power supply, ordered the part AND copied the folder to a thumb drive for us. All this and the cost was more than reasonable. I would not trust my laptop with anyone else. They are always honest and efficient. Many times I have taken my laptop into them only to have them either say it was something really simple and didn't charge me or very little at all.
