Disappointing location. This place was a ghost town when I went in the evening. This isn't my home club and I wanted to check it out while I was in the area. Wow, am I glad this isn't my usual location! Other club locations are SIGNIFICANTLY better. The locker room is tiny and there is no pool. Drive the extra 10 min to the other location for a far better experience. I can't imagine what attendees are paying for this club that only has a fraction of the amenities that a LifeTime location should have. The whole building also looks dated. read more

Great location, anyone complaining about too few people in the club like the person from Illinois is not a real gym rat. I have been going for years and now that I am a senior i am disappointed with the reduced silver sneakers hours but work around it. Always clean and right now the best staff they have had in years. My wife and I have been a member of lifetime gyms for the last month or so, and we have been impressed The classes have been very good. Online app reservation has been easy and fairly open. The app also has workout tips and videos. We would prefer a little bit more selection on some of the more active cardio classes, outside of yoga and biking, and maybe some easier times for working people, like a noon or 7 am, since 8:30 - 9 are too late for us to take advantage. Overall though, the equipment is nice and plentiful. Never too crowded or overwhelming. The locker rooms are nice. No hot tub or pool, but great sauna, and tons of space for free lifting too. The cycling classes have been our favorite part so far. read more

We have been going to both the Fishers and Castleton location, sometimes twice daily. I HAPPILY will pay more than 20.00 or even 50.00 a month to avoid Planet or LA Fitness for what we get, less stares, aggression, or rude behavior at the gym. One of the best gyms to workout at in Fishers. The standing calf machine needs to be fixed it has been broken for as long as I've been a member. I remember inquiring about being a personal trainer a while ago as a fun part time job and I am NASM certified. Kyle the manager out there is horrible about follow thru. I think I even texted him once to have a holiday but nothing back. They truly need to work on their trainers at the site especially with being friendly to people like Jessica was a former front desk person. And many of their trainers don't teach their clients proper form and rep tempo. It's crazy one of them could really hurt a client by having them just throw up weight and not control it! Crazy!!! Beyond the lack of friendliness and poor follow thru from the personal training staff the gym has a ton of stuff. I'd add more stuff to Fishers like Castle Creek or some of the Lifetimes in Chicago. What a great place to workout. Not only is there a wide variety of equipment, but spacious locker rooms with coded lockers to secure your items. Plenty of squat racks, Olympic platforms and unique equipment most conventional do not have. For you cardio bunnies- there are ROWS of ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes. The fishers location does not have a pool or hot tub (only reason why I give it 4 stars and not 5), but the Castleton and Carmel locations do! I have the pass where I can visit any of the three and it is absolutely worth it. There is a private sauna in each locker room to help you sweat out those toxins. Child care is also available if you need to bring the kiddos. They also offer free trials and once you have a membership they have multiple guest passes a month and a great LT bucks program you can use for personal training, nutrition counseling, and more! read more

Let me start by saying that I hate big gyms... As someone who's always been overweight, guns are intimidating because all the healthy people know what they are doing. I do not feel like this at Lifetime. It's never overcrowded or stuffy. Plenty of machines for people to spread out and kind their business. This place is just your typical gym, though you are paying for something more.. They offer very few classes, and don't look for any before work hours, most are geared for stay at home parents as they are timed mid morning.. The lights go off and on during the early morning which is actually quite frustrating, and every morning I take a shower in the dark as the lights never work.. This location isn't as big as the Castleton Lifetime, and there's no pool. But, it is newly remodeled, and it is never too crowded, even late afternoon during the busiest times. You can always get a good workout here. read more

I absolutely love this gym. I have no idea why it has such low rating! Although it doesn't have a pool like most people would like, I am not a pool kind of girl so I am not missing it. It is smaller but that's what I love about it! I have been there when they first open all the way through the end of the night and I have never felt like it was busy which is of course a huge plus. The childcare center is phenomenal! My baby boy is just shy of two years old and he loves everyone who works there! They're all so loving and patient and they will do everything they can before they have to come pull you out of your exercise. Some days I don't have him with me and they ask me how he is and why he isn't there. That shows me they take the time to get to know your child and really do care. The trainers are absolutely top notch! My personal favorites are Laura, Angie and Jamie! They're energy level is unmatched! They kick your butt and make you work hard without belittling you. They make you want to give your all and push yourself which is what I need! I joined Angie's boot camp class and it has completely changed my life and way of thinking! The way she has developed a sense of community is just amazing! I wouldn't dare go anywhere else! The staff that checks you in and that you see throughout the gym is very kind and helpful. Taking my review down to two stars because of horrible communication! After canceling my membership in 2015, our family has been looking for a gym to join with childcare. Since we had such a great experience at Lifetime previously, I tried to reach out for pricing on their childcare (since the online membership registration doesn't allow you to add it there). I messaged their Facebook page and called in September, and haven't heard back. I've called and messaged again since, but it seems silly to keep trying to them to take our money if they don't want to, so we will look elsewhere. read more

I like the Fishers Lifetime but it really needs more freeweight areas. When the personal trainers have their groups there they take over the one area that they have. Also they need more hamstring and glute machines. Again good gym but needs a few updates! read more

This gym is amazing. I have been to a few lifetime locations and this one was by far the cleanest, well managed and friendliest location ive been to. I didnt go at a peak time or anything, usually on a saturday or sunday and usually it was empty which was amazing. Its much smaller than normal lifetime's but I didnt seem to mind I almost liked it more because I didnt have to trek halfway across the gym to get to a bench or use euqipment when I needed more than one machine at once. Lifetime is simply extortionate as per the terms of their cancellation policy. I moved and tried to cancel on the phone: could not happen. Then I tried cancelling via email: nope. Finally, I stopped paying them and this is part of the email I got. "According to the Member Usage Agreement you signed upon joining the club it does state that you must physically cancel your membership in order to retire your membership and discontinue being billed. Simply canceling your billing method is not an acceptable form of cancelation no matter how often you do or do not use the club." Crystal Hostetler, the Business Administrator & Member Services Department Head apparently has no control over the policy and nor can she spell cancellation properly. Well I suppose that comes with working for a gym that has unconscionable terms in its cancellation policy. I guess her criminal justice degree from Grace College really came in handy in the end. She can recognize an injustice but do nothing about since it is corporate policy. Oh and to top it off, they charge you the next month after you cancel, so im paying for May too! read more

I cannot stand this gym. They steal your money in secrets ways. If I didn't look at my bank statement I would have had no idea. Tried to cancel but I had to come into the gym in person. I am truly spoiled having been a member of the life time fitness in Burr Ridge Illinois. This location is nothing but a storefront gym not unlike Golds. The excuse they call a pool is four lanes. The pool equipment consistent of two long floats and 4 pairs weights. There are no amenities in the locker room beyond womens products, all body shampoo and hair dryer. They also have no handicapped shower in the tiny locker room section. This location should be dropped from the Lifetime franchise because it gives the wonderful locations a bad name. read more

Came here for a Zumba training a couple weeks ago and was very impressed with the facility and staff. The room where we did the training was very large, clean, and cozy for a group of 60 women! Also, when we needed to use the restroom/locker room I was impressed with how large and cleaning everything was. I don't plan on becoming a member, but I appreciate the cleanliness and friendliness of the center. read more

Lifetime is fair, costs $$$$$. The Castleton location has the best vibe. The Fisher's location is not a comfortable, welcoming environment. Definitely not a feel good vibe. My 17 year old joined Lifetime Fitness without a parents or guardians signature. The representative verified his age as 21 although the 17 year old presented his drivers license that reflected his actual age. When the MINOR tried to opt out of his "illegal" contract he was told to appear in person and request termination. He did go in person and requested termination and without realizing it the individual he spoke with adjusted the contract for a lesser fee and continued collecting from the MNIORS bank account. Once realized, the MINOR again went to Lifettime Fitness to terminate the "illegal" contract and was told he was required to pay an extra full month or be subject to court proceedings. (My mention of illegal contract is because one must be 18 in Indiana to enter a contract) read more
