After trying endlessly to find a clean and secure storage facility ,I found life storage to be the hands down best place. As soon as I walked in I was greeted very enthusiastically by the manager Erica. I mentioned what I was looking for as far as storing my belongings, and Erica went over every option available. She took me on a tour of the facility and showed me all the different size spaces available. Upon touring the facility I noticed it was spotless and well maintained. Now in my opinion, that is a huge factor when keeping valuables at a location. She also mentioned that the office was in the process of getting a full remodel, which tells me the owners actually care about the property, again a HUGE PLUS! After touring, she explained in detail all the pricing, and assured me there were no hidden cost. I have been to other facilities in the area and they were either outdated or the staff could not give me straight information I was looking for. I now have found the right place! I have had a unit at 167 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA for almost 2 years. I rented this unit for my sister who needed the care from a nursing home but did not what to get rid of all her possessions. The result was renting your unit.. I'm from North Carolina and it was difficult for me to put this all together and Angela Wadleigh, store manager, was always available to help me. I felt as though I had known her for years. She is clearly an asset to your company. Sadly my sister passed away and I needed to close my account there, and empty my sisters unit. I spoke to Angela prior to my visit and she added our conversation to my account because she was going to be away while I was there and we had all the details worked out. I did come up and met with Dan Edwards to close my account. He was also great. He looked up may account and all the notes from Angela were there and Dan took care of all my needs without any issues. I have been so impressed with Angela W, the Manager, she not only met our expectations but exceeded them. I came in to get several storage units during a very emotional time for my family. I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion which is rare in customer service these days. Angela took care of me like we had known each other for years. Although I was stressed and panicked about what my family was going through, she reassured me that everything was going to be ok. She comforted me more then my own friends have. That says a lot. We are downsizing, along with the gazillion other boomers, so storage was going to be important. I never rented a storage unit before but a friend recommended Life Storage in Salisbury MA. I selected a unit size and reserved a unit with the help of the prompts on the website. Unfortunately I messed up the rental agreement on line so I called. Angela took my call and said it was no problem. She fixed the application and showed me how to access the unit and use the gate entry system.
