A coworker suggested this shop when we wanted some printed t-shirts for an upcoming event. Just…read morewanted 5 shirts done. This shop is located inside of the Don Quijote Store in Waipahu, and there's a big sign saying "T's printed while you wait" which was perfect! We made up a simple design on our computer and brought it into the shop. First, the young man didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in (only us), but instead had a look on his face like we were bothering him. We explained what we wanted and how long we had to wait, he said 3 to 4 days. I guess "printed while you wait" doesn't mean it will be done right then and there, you will have to wait for days. To be fair, the sign doesn't say how long the wait is. Asked him how come it's going to take so long, then he said he doesn't work on the weekends, and he'll get it done by Monday, even though we need it Sunday. He got more irritated. Then his phone rang and he told the person on the phone that he would like to go to lunch, and told his eyes. I guess we were interrupting him going to lunch? So he would rather go to lunch than service a customer and get our order done? Priorities is lunch, not service? So, he did get it done the next day, and it was nice, but customer service needs to improve. He didn't even say thank you either. Oh yeah, we tried to call him a fixed times but he doesn't answer the phone either. Sir, you do good work, but you provide a service, and in the service industry, you need to service your customers or you won't have any.

I'm adding to Ata T's comments. The person behind the counter wasn't courteous and acted as if we…read morewere taking up his time so he could leave for lunch. We only requested for 5 shirts to be printed. Shirts that he showed us were in stock and displayed on a table next to where we were doing our transaction. Also, after leaving the shop, I tried calling numerous times to check on the the size of the logo printed on the shirt.. no call back. When he texted me later in the day that the shirts were going to be ready for pick up for the following day, I asked him about the sizing. He had an attitude and gave some kind of excuse about why he didn't get my messages. I think what's worse is having the owner apologizing for their worker's unprofessionalism. Not good business practice especially if you want your family business to thrive. The shirts came out great, just the service wasn't..

My guess is that Cassi Manner believes that since she is a pseudo-influencer on Instagram that it…read moreautomatically makes her a Social Media/Digital Marketing expert. There are, of course flaws in this logic. 1. Not everybody whom she takes on as a client drives clicks through bikini pictures (not that there is anything wrong with this, even in Cassi's case). 2. The talent quotient between becoming successful solely through posting bikini pictures on Instagram and understanding the nuance of digital marketing in a commercial enterprise is wide. When you first speak with Cassi, she gives you the Irving Rosenfeld in "American Hustle" routine - she doesn't know if you would be a good fit ... for her. But, surprise, you ALWAYS are going to be a good fit if you can cough up the $5,000 a month. And she then of course purports to be an expert in your field of business. The reality is (and perhaps this is good, I don't know), Cassi does very little. This is all outsourced to other people throughout the country. Again, there isn't anything wrong with it, but when you have disparate persons not working together on a cogent strategy - and there is seemingly zero leadership (Cassi), you aren't going to get the result you want. Thus, predictably, the "discovery" phase of the engagement will take three months and absolutely nothing will happen in terms of actual marketing. Most competent digital marketing professionals can handle the "discovery" in an afternoon. Nevertheless, you will be passed around her various sub-contractors to have needless conversations that rehash the same information you provided Cassi but seemingly she was too lazy to forward. Eventually, when Cassi realizes that she can literally offer you zero benefit, she will send you a two-line email informing you that you are not a good fit for her company and are no longer afforded the distinct honor of paying her $5,000 per month (for nothing). Note that this email will come 3-4 months following you hiring her, during which time nothing has happened on any level whatsoever other than you having lit $20,000 on fire. Her instagram is a good follow; Cassi preaches all this self-love and kum ba yah nonsense. She should perhaps stick to that and pimping skin care products instead of misrepresenting herself to small businesses.

I had a going away gift for a Cub Scout pack member that needed to be done at the last minute. I searched Oahu for engraving shops and came upon Engraving Hawaii. Previously I had passed by it a couple times while walking around the Schofield Exchange, but never looked in before. I walked in and there were two customers in front of me. Nick was helping other customers and told me he would assist me as soon as he could. When it was my turn, I explained what I needed and when I needed it, but Nick explained they had an influx of rush jobs that needed to be completed. He let me know that it was unlikely to be finished by the requested date, and I was ok with it, because I tend to follow the saying, "Poor planning on your part does not necessitate an emergency on mine." That evening, I receive a text message from the shop requesting I proof-read and approve the layout. They got the layout exactly how I requested and I quickly replied it was perfect. I was afraid to think that it might get finished in time, but their quick draft gave me a glimmer of hope that it would be ready in time. The next day I got a message telling me the item was ready. I rushed over to the shop and sure enough it was completed and looked fantastic. Because of Engraving Hawaii, we were able to present the award at the banquet for the departing member! I was so impressed with the friendly and professional service. The team is really customer-focused, and based on what I was hearing from their interactions with the other customers they were going to try everything in their power to get requests just right. Cheers, Nick!
