Fried Egg. Really good!

Very good service. Great selection of various foods. Really good food. Not to bad of a wait.

Caprese Panini

Ok so I swore I'd never come back here again after my horrible experience with the wilted pre-made salad they insisted on giving me rather than making me a new one when I asked. However, I had just gotten done with a 2 hour cardio workout and I was famished so I decided to let bygones be bygones. And I'm really glad I did. My first test was to have a look at the salads they had out and they looked considerably fresher than when I wrote my first review. That made me feel confident enough to place an order. I ended up getting the Caprese Panini (pictured) which was really good. Service was accommodating. Overall, I was impressed so I've decided to end my long grudge against this place, after all, it's HEALTHY to do so and they earned my respect back. Just wanted to clear the air about Life Cafe.

First time eating here. The food is amazing! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato…read morefries and my husband had the rainbow poke bowl (which I tried). So yummy, wanted more. Beautiful place inside and out. Food came out quick after ordering. Will definitely come back again.

Little Avalon is an interesting space as it shares a space with another restaurant (kind of like a…read morecommunal space where they share dual kitchens but share the same dining area.). It has that Summerlin bohemian feel to it where it is bright and airy and it has a ton of natural greenery. One of the employees even once told me that It takes 45 minutes to an hour everyday to water all the plants. Which is something. Little Avalon is more on the side of healthy comfort food. You have your acai bowls and other high protein/grain bowls along with smoothies, coffee, etc. so it's a nice, healthy spot for the most part. My go-to is the satori bowl. I love the different textures and flavors, and I love that I can customize it so much. The coffee drinks are actually pretty good too. All of my lattes have been flavorful without being too sweet with a beautiful texture on the foam. My main gripe is their service. The staff is friendly enough but if you're looking for five star service or anything beyond what they are specifically trained to do, you're not going to get it. I had an incident where I came with my partner and we ordered food and drinks to sit outside because we had our big fluffy golden with us keeping us company. We opted to sit outside. When they brought us the food we realized that we didn't have silverware. When we asked the girl if she could get it for us knowing that we were super occupied with our dog she told us we can get it inside and without waiting for an answer, just took off. Also, sometimes service is slow and it takes a while to get my food. And management, if you're reading this, please have a dedicated busser. I've sat in the cafe for a couple of hours at a time with my laptop and when it gets busy nobody is wiping off the table in between seatings. I even had to request a rag to wipe down my own table on my last visit. It's little things like that that really elevate a place to being something special. Otherwise, if you know what you're into, great food, average prices, social service, then this is a good lunch spot. And they're open later in the evening, which I appreciate!

An absolutely TEA-rrific experience!!!…read more This is such an enchanting and charming tea spot! You feel like you are transported to a magical, whimsical place with the adorable decor, calming music, and smell of fresh baked pastries! Definitely a place to go to and it is easily accessible. Cobblestone Village is perfect to celebrate birthdays, showers, special occasions, and just quality tea time with dear souls!! My friends and I did the $48 tea service which was filling! They were able to accommodate our gluten free-ish friend too on short notice! Most everything is made from scratch and was delicious!!! The scones were my favorite! They were nice and buttery; not dry and crumbly at all! They offer Tea Forte teas and have an extensive menu to choose from. One thing to note: You pick your individual tea bag and there isna hot pot to refill your cup. We were thinking it was one pot of a brewed tea where we could all share and then get a different pot of tea. Not a biggie but just FYI if you were hoping to try different teas. Arsine, the owner, came by and made us feel right at home. She explained how they hire youth who have aged out of the foster system, which is awesome! You can tell this is her passion and she does great at it!! There are plenty of photo ops here so come ready for a splendid experience and lots of pics!!!

The average bear would not even know the Roadrunner Cafe is there. Clearly geared towards patrons,…read morepatients and guests of Cure for the Kids and Roseman University, this cafe is open to the public, even if you are not visiting one of these spots on the former campus of Nevada Cancer Institute. I have a girlfriend who works in the building and I have reason to stop in with her most Fridays to have lunch and visit. This cafe has been a bit of a work in progress since it opened on menu options, staffing, etc., thus my delay until writing a review until now. I wanted to understand the groove a bit. It gets 4 stars vs 5 simply for maybe the identity crisis that it was sorting through for a bit. With that being said, the menu has indeed changed from what it once was, but this streamlining I think has made this place a better easy quality value to the customers it serves. Every single item I have ever had has been prepared fresh on the spot and is really quite good. Salads, sandwiches, soup and now all day breakfast (LOVE THIS!) is what the menu is about. You order and pay at a counter and they will bring you your food when it is prepared...on real plates if you are eating in! Today I had a Caesar salad and asked for two over-hard fried eggs on top. Not a problem, they are eager to please with the tweaks and preferences I sometimes make. Two Caesar salads prepared with fresh greens and one with two eggs on top came to like $14. I find that an incredibly value for the portion size and quality. They have indoor and outdoor seating (with covered umbellas when sunny if you wish) and the ambiance is casual and easy. Although I am failing to know any of the names of the staff, everyone is always so nice, welcoming, kind and proud of their "little engine that could" establishment. They make me feel like they appreciate my business. So maybe not the spot one would go out of their way to visit, but if you are in the area, I would absolutely tell you to come visit. Open for breakfast and lunch and such a nice little unexpected spot.

Great customer service. They offer many different menu choices there's something for everyone. Wish…read morethey were open weekends

I can't believe I haven't left a review for Neighbors!…read more I've been coming here since they first opened and it's a joy to see that even after expanding, Neighbors is still just as good as always. The wait can be a little long if you're coming during peak Brunch hours, but that wait just gives you more time to contemplate what you're going to eat since the menu has too many tasty options. I feel like I've tried most of the core menu at this point and would recommend any of these items if you're having trouble choosing (in no particular order): - Breakfast Burrito - Old School - Shakshuka (if available) - Turkey Club Neighbors' drinks are also pretty good with my personal favorites being the Queen Bee Latte, London Fog, or a nice cold Cold Crew. The inside of the restaurant is vary spacious and there's a lot of seating to be found. It can sometimes be a tad precarious if it's really busy, but I don't think there's been a time where I couldn't find seating for a group of 4-5. That said, it is also quite loud in the restaurant, so I wouldn't come here expecting to have a "quiet" meal. I did notice that Neighbors is partially opened for Dinner now which has me excited to give it a try the next time I have an opportunity to eat out..
