I had a terrible experience... I had an appointment 2 months ago and they called me the same day saying they had to reschedule me for July which was 2 months later and I was annoyed but understood even though she wouldn't tell me why, then I go to my appointment today at 12 and the lady wasn't at the front desk she was sitting in her car I had to call so she would come in because I was standing at the desk for 14 minutes... when she got in I told her I had an appointment for 12 and she told me it was canceled because I never confirmed the appointment , I then went to show her all the messages I got from life dental telling me I confirmed my appointment and it was for today at 12 and she checked again and said nope it was canceled. By this time I was very upset because I waited like 6 months originally then 2 more just to have it canceled on me when I confirmed the appointment! I asked if there was anyone else I could talk too and she said no she was the manager and there was nothing she could do... This person has TERRIBLE costumer service and was extremely rude and didn't care at all about how long I waited and how many times they messed up on their end ... read more

I've been going here for 8 years now and as long as they accept my insurance, I'm going to stay with them. Lets start off with how wonderful the office staff is. Even when I've had an outstanding balance or needed an emergency visit, they always have a ready smile and a compassionate tone. As for speed, its very rare I spend more than 15 minutes past my appointment time in the waiting room as well. The dental hygienists are always polite, informative and disarming when it comes to the Dental checkup. Then we come to their "Ring Leader", Doc Walker himself. I cannot say enough about him, he is great (My wife thinks its a Bromance). Doctor walker very skilled. I lost part of a tooth when it cracked (bad dental hygiene in my early years), he still suggests that I get it crowned, but he was able to put a "filling" in to help. In reality it was a sculpture of 1/3 of my tooth (the missing portion). By the way that was 3 1/2 years ago, and it's still holding strong. He is also hysterical. In fact last time I was there he got me laughing uproariously. This was a mixed bag as he had a needle in my mouth administering Novocaine. Here's a funny story about a visit I was at with my Wife. She was getting a filling done and Doc Walker asked, "How does the tooth feel when run your tongue along it?" She answers, It feels fine". He looks to me, winks, then says, "Now how about with my tongue?" With that the whole room erupted into laughter. In all seriousness this Doctor cares about his patients like they are friends or family. He is a generally good natured man. I absolutely agree with Cara C. this practice is wonderful and you will not be sorry if you switch to Lif Dental. read more

Have called office for appointment with Dr Walker several times. keep getting pushed onto other dentists and offices. They say hes on "leave of absence".A dental hygienist gave me the truth.Not rumor, public info. Google new York state dept of health enforcement with Ian Walker and you'll see hes lost his license for 2 years!! Don't understand or care what moral unfitness is but its total BS to keep all the marketing of Dr Ian as Lif dentals "star dentist' when he cant work and hasn't worked in over 2 months. Very misleading if not illegal to advertise a dentist with no license IMO.Theres lots of other dentists in town without the deceptive marketing. Lif dental needs to be more honest! I have been Dr. Walkers patient for about 12 years or more more. He is funny, easy to talk to, patient, helpful and caring. He changed the name of his practice but still a very wonderful and kind staff. He has done so much for my family and I. I highly recommend him! I grind my teeth and have since I was a child. He not only fixed a chip in my front teeth, but made a fitted guard that has helped me a lot! He is great with kids and is a family man himself. If you want quality work in a wonderful family friendly environment, you should really try him. It took me a bit to get my husband to him, but once he did he never wants to see anyone else. I would like to thank Dr. Hill and his staff for the exceptional dental treatment that I received at the Eggert Road LIF Dental location. I made an appointment with him to see if he could repair a bridge that was bothering me. Not only was the bridge repaired, his staff did a Cone Beam 3-D x-ray, which revealed that I would need a few additional treatments. I had a deep cavity filled and his staff performed a deep cleaning treatment because the x-ray showed signs of periodontal disease. They went as far as putting antibiotic strips between my gums and the roots of my teeth to fight off infection. The dentist I was seeing for years never suggested we take such a thorough "look" at my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Hill and the rest of the staff at LIF Dental for any dental procedure; they all go above and beyond the norm with their caring ways and the utilization of the latest dental technologies. If you're a former patient of Dr. Walker and have dental insurance with Dr. Walker as a provider, be aware that the new providers are NOT honoring your insurance. I had an appointment for a cleaning to be followed by an exam with Dr. Walker in late January 2017. When the hygienist finished cleaning my teeth, she said "Dr Kagen will be right in". I told her that Dr. Walker was my dentist. She said that they were rotating dentists between offices. Dr. Julia Kagan came in and the hygienist told her that I was fine. Dr. Kagen did not look in my mouth. Today, 6 months later I received a statement from BC/BS stating that my claim was denied because Dr. Kagen is a non-participating provider. I never made an appointment with Dr. Kagen. I went to that appointment planning to see Dr. Walker. I just called the office and all they said was that they would resubmit my claim to my insurance. If they had told me that they would waive the charges I would not be writing this negative review. Goodby Lif Dental! read more
