    Chim cut & bbq pork
    Vi N.

The service is quick grab and go. They do accept card here. The chim cut was good, a little dry on certain parts but the price here is solid and the seasoning is perfect to my own liking

This location is always busy and they accept cash only. I like their roasted duck, peking duck or salted chicken and crispy pork . Especially roasted duck was so delicious. Crispy boneless pork are always perfectly cooked. They marinate with delicious spices, very tasty . I have supported them for many years. The only thing is that parking is difficult, which makes me lazy to come sometimes, especially on holidays.

Trust me, these ducks... they're real... and they're fire

Service is fast and straight-to-the-point, the prices are still reasonable, and you know it's the real deal when the line never really stops. The operation feels like controlled chaos in the best way...

My dad wanted some peiking duck and roast pork, so we stopped by to get some to go. We ended up impulsively buying other stuff too (chili oil pig ears, pork feet, and marinated duck wings). They did a good job marinating and roasting the meats. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced (compared to San Diego). The staff were quick and friendly. I would recommend this place and come here again.

This is the place to order roasted duck and pork to go. There's no table service, no place to eat. It's just food to go. You can even get a pig head roasted to go.

    Thit Heo Quay

My mom buys the thit heo quay from here and there was a ton of pig hair on the crispy skin which is terrible, upsetting, gross, and inedible. Also the service sucks. We've had problems with their thit heo quay before and they're disrespectful. A lot of the pieces are really fatty as well. Don't go here if you want high quality meat and amazing service.

    Menu in Feb 2025

There are quite a few Chinese BBQ takeout restaurants in the Bolsa area, and I have tried them all, but Liên Hoa is consistently my go-to place to pick up a roast duck, barbecued or roast pork. Their salted and soy sauced chicken also good but can be a little dry for my taste. Prices have risen substantially over the years (a roast duck is now $32 in Feb 2025), but the taste remains the same. The restaurant and parking lot could get busy on the weekends or holidays, but not as much as I remember several years ago. They started accepting credit cards recently and that makes it easier to pay. Tip: You can request to take the food home to chop it up yourself. They have the tendency to chop up the pork meat in bigger chunks than I prefer.

Ordered carry out roasted duck and soy sauce chicken. Pretty solid duck. The chicken was a little dry and I prefer the skin to have a little more soy sauce flavor. -cash only

Bad and unethical services. Mixing low price roast pig part when paying for a higher-price roasted part.

Yes they do for Thanks giving. However, I wouldn't recommend the dry rub style they use. The regular duck is better. Turkey is too lean

All the tables were full and there was one party of 11 just ahead of us. Our wait for a table was like 30 minutes or so. Once we were up we were guided to a table towards the back for five. Our server asked if we been here before and if we wanted anything else besides water to drink. My brother and his fiance split a full order of the beef ribs and side order of sauteed garlic green beans. My mom and step dad split a full order of beef ribs while I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs which came with two side orders. I picked coleslaw and onion rings which I shared with the family. The food came out promptly. Everyone enjoyed their food. The baby back ribs were moist with flavor, smoked and went well with their bbq sauce. The rest of the family really like their beef ribs. And they even commented that it was better than the other bbq places we been to. Definitely will return and highly recommend.

Today I ordered the 1/3 spareribs with mac & cheese. I also added a blueberry cornbread/muffin. This came out to $28 and change. Food: Disappointed. The meat had no flavor at all. Bland taste. The spicy BBQ sauce wasn't spicy at all. I asked an employee about it, and he stated they don't make it hot anymore. The mac & cheese and cornbread was good though, but I was there for the ribs. Service: Slow. We waited for around 15-20 minutes for our food. Our server did not come by once to offer a refill or check up on us. Overall, I won't be coming back. What was once a great spot for BBQ for me isn't anymore. Something changed here.

I usually call in an order for pick it up but I needed to finish up some work before dinner and my family wanted BBQ. I didn't have time to drive over there but noticed they now offer delivery so I downloaded their app. I was having trouble adding an item to my cart so I called to ask for help. After trying to walk me through it without success, Cole just offered to personally drop off the order for me. I was totally thinking I was going to let my family down and have to figure out something else. I was shocked that he even offered because I know they are a small shop and can get busy. I assumed they partnered with door dash or Uber eats for their delivery. The cherry on top was that the food got here faster than if I had used door dash Anyhow, it is rare to experience this kind of hospitality these days and thought they deserved the kudos. Thank you for going above and beyond. Our favorites on the menu are the pulled pork, brisket, sausage and chicken.

I was interested in this place because it was "Japanese" style but after our experience, it just felt like a more typical Kbbq. We got the gold menu and ended up only enjoying the marinated boneless shortrib and the limited 1 per person cut (forgot what that was). It was good but I am not sure if it's worth the price for just one really good cut of meat. There were also Korean sides like kimchi, rice paper, radish, and potato salad. The cucumber side tasted off for some reason but the experience just felt like I was at kbbq instead of Manpuku or Anjin. That said, the service was great! They were very attentive and checked up on us often. Maybe the platinum menu would have been better to try for more variety but we were still full at the end. The gold menu is 3.5* but the services is 5*.

Honestly, just that alone, you can get full and be satisfied with it, but you go to a KBBQ for the meats. With the HH menu, there's a limited selection of meats, but our go to are Brisket, beef belly and pork belly. As I mentioned the one woman team for the front of house staff, service was excellent. She single handedly took care of all tables bringing out meat orders, clearing tables and cashing people out, she honestly did better than some other restaurants we've been too with more staff. It's become one of my boyfriend's and my go-to places when we're in the mood for skewers. This is a great place for a casual date night, but it also works well for bigger groups since the experience is pretty social. The setup grills about 14 skewers at a time, so the cooking process can be a little slow (especially during dinner hours when it gets busy). It does feel like they could use a few more staff members, but the workers here are friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. One thing I appreciated is how involved the staff are with the grilling process. They'll check in regularly to help cook the skewers and make sure everything is done properly. If you need extra sauces or seasoning, they're quick to bring them out. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, and the menu offers a huge variety of skewers along with a few non-skewer items. You'll also get some complimentary sides like chawanmushi (steamed egg), kimchi, and pickled radish, which are nice to snack on while waiting for the skewers to finish cooking. During our visit we ordered: Mild Spicy Lamb Kebab Mild Spicy Beef Kebab Marinated Beef Kebab Beef Tongue Pork Belly Shrimp Kebab Marinated Chicken Kebab Sweet Corn Cheese My favorites were definitely the Mild Spicy Lamb Kebab, Mild Spicy Beef Kebab, and the Marinated Beef Kebab. Honestly, their classic lamb and beef skewers are hard to beat and are always a safe bet. The mala skewers themselves weren't overly spicy, but they provide a spice rub you can dip them in, which really boosts the flavor if you want that extra kick. A nice bonus right now: if you spend over $100, you'll get free corn cheese as an appetizer, which is always a crowd-pleaser. One small tip: the skewers get extremely hot, so be careful when grabbing them off the grill. Overall, this is a solid spot for northeastern Chinese-style BBQ with a wide selection of skewers and a fun grilling experience. It's a place we keep coming back to.
