Good grocery store, variety of products but sometimes not that fresh. Prices are reasonable and affordable and the items are good also

We have visited this new European grocery twice already. The prices are very very good and the variety is tremendous. They have a huge selection of European and regular breads and cakes. Also a lot of treats, including exceptional priced meats. The quality of all we have picked up is great. A very welcome addition. Wish they had more parking and wee easier to get to. read more

Affordable staples - bread, eggs, milk...but don't expect great customer service. The moment they see you need help, the workers vanish. S***y attitude by cashiers, even their "security" guard is busy on his cell. read more

I brought 4 loose peaches and when I cut them open the seed was molded and had bugs live bugs in them. I was beyond disgusted and when I call the store I was told that they only would believe me if I brought the bugs in. I am highly upset and not at all happy with the service or products. read more

It's a nice store but runs out of sale items the first and last day of sale. Sometimes it doesn't carry the items at all. The parking lot is a disaster with carts everywhere. The customers play a huge park in that area. Due to Covid, bakery items are prepackaged so I can no longer choose to purchase one or two pastries. Also cookies are higher in price. Beautiful, well-planned store but in a very poor location. Difficult access. Bad traffic. If they had surveyed potential customers they would have known nobody wants to drive on Route 22. This part of the highway has the second highest traffic accident rate in the state according to a TV report I watched last week! read more

This must be what shopping in East Berlin had been like. Food is rotten, but hey, it's cheap! There is random crap every where (tools and apparel??) but the actual draw, food, leaves a lot to be desired. The packages are very small and the packaging itself is very cheap. For example, I picked up a bag of flour and it ripped. As every one else said, you're right around Costco, ShopRite, and not far from Aldis and Trader Joe's.... I dont even understand why people go to a "Lidl" food store after my first visit. They have a limited/horrible selection of what I was looking for. I bought organic bacon, organic orange juice, and organic ground beef. I would've rather go to Whole Foods or a quality Food Store like Kings(since I wouldn't have payed much more and quality is def better than Lidl).I've never heard of this food store, and checked this location out of curiosity. I dont ever shop at Walmart, but it seems like you might as well go to Walmart since they have to have a better selection, and can find cheap food just as easy with more selection(since it seems Lidl prides themselves on high quality(BS!!!), and low prices. People prob go to this location out of laziness, and see a new food store they dont know about. Although I assume that wont last long before this place closes down in my opinion read more

I would of given it one star for terrible customer service but two for great organic options as well as decent bakery. Price is definitely great especially sale items but I had such bad experience checking out at this store it almost isn't worth it. I wrote to LIDL customer service online and hoping they might see this review also. Please better train the cashiers and the store managers. The cashiers can't just stand there and wait for a solution holding up the line for more than 5-10minutes. The register should have the function to "suspend" the current check-out until the customer with the issue, can figure out a solution with the manager if more than 2-3minutes. If the price doesn't scan the cashier shouldn't just stand there asking the customer to run around the store to get them the price. The cashier should call manager and if the price is just not coming up, it should be what is written on the sign. I tried to buy two packs of bulbs and the manager stated it wasn't $1.99 from the right bin that I got them from but more the expense price from the left side. I was like ""this is taking 25minutes to check out and no one in this store can even bring up the pricing and you can't just charge me $1.99 for each pack?? She listened and did but just really stupid how they can't show more common sense. This also happened when I tried to buy gum on sale and it turned out the gums that weren't on sale were in the box with the sale sign!!! What a waste of time and in the mean time, cashier and manager doing nothing!! When you speak up, they treat you like you are being hostile. Either better train or hire smarter people. read more

Not impressed. Drove all the way from Bucks county to check it out. I was in and out in 20 minutes with only half a bag of stuff. Tools and clothes in the middle aisles are weird and 3/4 of the food are no name brands which I don't feel comfortable buying. I didn't think the prices were any cheaper than anywhere else, and on the whole I was really disappointed. It was a pedestrian and plebeian experience. Grocery shopping should be fun like at Trader Joe's. Definitely not here. Do not recommend. read more

This Store is always out of some food items like baked goods and especially sale items. Its hit or miss if they will have the food you are looking for. The check out lines suck, had a 15 plus wait tonight, only 2 lanes open and all self checkouts were closed, broken glass on the floor by the checkout and no manager in sight. The only reason I gave this store 2 stars is because the most of the food items are good quality when they have them in stock. Its seems like this store is grossly mis managed . read more

Lidl is a great shopping experience. I have never been a fan of yelps decision to allow foul mouthed individuals to leave in appropriate comments on there site. Great for eggs milk bacon and any dairy items. Nice big clean store. The quality of the bacon reminds me of European style. Look for the less fatty packs and you will be a fan. The eggs are exactly what you want when looking for 'large' eggs I got a triple pack dip and it was a huge success at work. Definitely good prices. Didn't think much of the fruit but veggies looked fine. Have to say I liked this better than Aldi, although I just went to Aldo's once! read more

Like a previous reviewer ; I waited several months to write this review. Had I written this during the first month Lidl was open; I would've gone 5 stars across the board. That seems like a distant memory now. The bloom is off the rose. As is the case with too many retail businesses; standards have slipped , noticeably. For the first month or two; all was well. Sorry to report that things have changed . Prices have remained competitive with bargains throughout the store. Unfortunately; inconsistent product availability is fast becoming commonplace. You just don't know if they're going to have what you came for. That's troublesome. Add that to a very noticeably decreased management and staff presence and an increasingly less orderly appearance both inside and outside the store( pallets in the aisles making navigation difficult, empty shelves at 9:00 am, shopping carts scattered to every corner of the parking lot, and the disappearance of the once noticeable police/ security presence)and you have Aldi. I switched to Lidl when they first opened and was impressed. The welcoming staff , the abundant number of open checkouts, low prices , and variety of products made for a very positive shopping experience. Aldi was my go to for groceries at great prices and no nonsense service. They've since fallen prey to greed( prices of many items skyrocketed overnight), and have gotten comfortable ....not a good move in such a competitive field.Does Lidl use this model? I hope this is just growing pains but I doubt it. Proove me wrong. I left Aldi in the dust when Lidl opened.... I hear ShopRite calling me back. A shame. read more
