I walked around the whole store, and while it looks nice, the prices are high. For example, Nathan's hot dogs that are usually around $5 at other stores were $9.19 at Publix. That's not in everybody's budget. I wish they had better bargains like Kroger does. All I can say is, I went in once to check it out, thought it might be a regular shopping spot for me, but it's not. I wanted to love it, and I do like it for certain things--maybe if I want a sub, pizza, or some sushi. But for everyday, weekly, or monthly shopping, it's just not for me. On the bright side, the store was very clean, and the employees were friendly (though not super helpful). The customers seemed nice too. At the end of the day, it comes down to preference and price range. I'd say it's worth trying at least once to see if it fits your needs.

She stopped what she was doing to take me to where they were. It was a good distance away. I asked another employee, Jess, for help finding Hard Cider. Same thing. Stopping what she was doing just to help me. Finally, the cashier Amanda, went above and beyond to put rubber bands around my cakes, double bagged the heavier groceries then used a Wegman's Card that would save me money. None of these ladies had to go the extra mile. But they did! Hats off to these ladies. I will be going back again!!

I knew when I pulled in and saw no cars in the parking lot that this place might have issues. Still gave them a chance. Walked in and there wasn't a human in sight. No customers, no workers, started to wonder if they were actually closed. Wandered around and roughly 10 minutes later, a woman showed up. I don't want to assume but considering that they have kimchi, I'd say she was Korean. This woman was a nightmare. She was rude, demeaning, abrasive. Absolutely dreadful! I told her the kind of speciality meat we were seeking and she proceeded to call it "trash meat". Thanks for insulting an entire culture! Over and over she called it trash meat (a blood sausage) and how we could make it ourselves and how it was illegal to make it. What?!?! Then she said "You fat, you don't need trash meat!! You need good meat!" I couldn't decide if I wanted to slap her or tell her to go **** herself.... In the interest of being an actual adult with actual manners and decorum, we decided to walk out instead.

Before my neighbor introduced to me The Neighborhood Harvest I was getting my greens and veggies from the local Food Lion or Krogers. It was difficult to find organic produce that wasn't already ready to go bad. The greens and veggies I get every week are SO FRESH and DELICIOUS! I typically get kale, cucumbers and a bag of the Green Machine blend which is perfect for my daily green smoothies! There hasn't been a time yet that the greens haven't been perfect, never wilted or smelly! We recently tried the fresh apple cider, it was SO GOOD! We just got a notice that they are having fresh cookies as well so we are definitely going to place an order for those as well! I especially love that I am assigned to my own Neighborhood Harvest representative who checks in with me periodically to make sure I am a happy customer. I get text messages of any particular deals they are having, last week they were having a deal on pears. I don't mind having to place my ice packs out in my cooler the night before and so far I've never had a problem with my deliveries. I definitely recommend investing your money in their fresh greens which is great for your health.

This is not a store you to go when you want to cook a gourmet meal. You aren't going to find much in the way of speciality items; heck, they don't even carry orzo or sweet chili sauce! When I know I'll need higher end items, I head to Farm Fresh but I have an affinity for this Food Lion.
