I walked around the whole store, and while it looks nice, the prices are high. For example, Nathan's hot dogs that are usually around $5 at other stores were $9.19 at Publix. That's not in everybody's budget. I wish they had better bargains like Kroger does. All I can say is, I went in once to check it out, thought it might be a regular shopping spot for me, but it's not. I wanted to love it, and I do like it for certain things--maybe if I want a sub, pizza, or some sushi. But for everyday, weekly, or monthly shopping, it's just not for me. On the bright side, the store was very clean, and the employees were friendly (though not super helpful). The customers seemed nice too. At the end of the day, it comes down to preference and price range. I'd say it's worth trying at least once to see if it fits your needs.

She stopped what she was doing to take me to where they were. It was a good distance away. I asked another employee, Jess, for help finding Hard Cider. Same thing. Stopping what she was doing just to help me. Finally, the cashier Amanda, went above and beyond to put rubber bands around my cakes, double bagged the heavier groceries then used a Wegman's Card that would save me money. None of these ladies had to go the extra mile. But they did! Hats off to these ladies. I will be going back again!!

Before my neighbor introduced to me The Neighborhood Harvest I was getting my greens and veggies from the local Food Lion or Krogers. It was difficult to find organic produce that wasn't already ready to go bad. The greens and veggies I get every week are SO FRESH and DELICIOUS! I typically get kale, cucumbers and a bag of the Green Machine blend which is perfect for my daily green smoothies! There hasn't been a time yet that the greens haven't been perfect, never wilted or smelly! We recently tried the fresh apple cider, it was SO GOOD! We just got a notice that they are having fresh cookies as well so we are definitely going to place an order for those as well! I especially love that I am assigned to my own Neighborhood Harvest representative who checks in with me periodically to make sure I am a happy customer. I get text messages of any particular deals they are having, last week they were having a deal on pears. I don't mind having to place my ice packs out in my cooler the night before and so far I've never had a problem with my deliveries. I definitely recommend investing your money in their fresh greens which is great for your health.

Kroger has a program in which you can get percentages off of gas and luckily today I was able to get 30 cents off the premium which definitely helped out a lot. I definitely recommend you sign up for this free program. There's a mini convenience store outdoors but I didn't need anything. This particular Kroger is far removed from my local store. After a single visit I'm a fan. I really prefer the more spacious Kroger Marketplace stores for the variety and deeper offerings. An example is the reason I visited a store 25 minutes from my home. The beer selection is phenomenal and it's not as busy as Virginia Beach. So typically they can get special brews in and they will last on the shelf longer. They also offer a tasting bar which is unique. Prior to making the trip I spoke with the beer/wine manager Jermey to confirm inventory. He was great! My visit consisted of picking up a few limited release Founder KBS Stouts. I also tried one at the bar on tap and had excellent service by a female staff. I would recommend this particular Kroger for awesome service and selection of beer and wine.

Entire sections of produce were empty. I'll start shopping elsewhere since Kroger can't seem to get a good produce manager.
