Hours were listed to be until 10p ... we got there at just before 8p and we're standing outside the window looking at their flavor board, we could clearly see people in the shop who looked out at us ... when they didn't approach the window, they pointed at a hand written sign (in the dark) that said they closed at 8p it was 8:03 at that point. Seemed lame that they wouldn't have told us sooner that they were closing or closed. Not sure whose fault it is that their hours are still listed incorrectly online.

I came here a couple of times during my stay in the area. The ice cream, overall, was creamy and not too sweet. The store has a decent amount of flavors available, though don't expect an infinite variety. Service varied greatly, depending on the person at the counter. I dealt with some rude kids one trip but kind ones other times. Not a lot of choices for ice cream around, but this one's at least a pretty good one.

I have had 'meh' milkshake experiences the last few times I've been out for ice cream this summer. No, not here (in New York). Anyway, Lickety Split renewed my faith in ice cream shops being able to make a milkshake properly. To be honest though, the ice cream is really superb so you should probably just go for a scoop or three! There was a huge line but it moved fast. The employee taking my order was helpful in answering all my questions with the menu. I also really really love that they do not charge for sprinkles; while I don't think there are many flavors that work with the sprinkles, I do appreciate that. Some places by me charge close to $1 for sprinkles... I thought the prices were really fair and the portions were generous. Not really sure why some people are complaining about pricing...Maybe they go for ice cream at McDonald's?!

Lickety Split is always the answer after a long summer day. Some of the best icecream in Williamstown and place to hang outside to eat. Prices are a little expensive if you compare it to a tub of ice cream you could get from a grocery store, but quality surpasses what you can get at the store. They lost a star because some of their employees do not practice safe food practices and handed cones over while touching the cone rather than the paper My favorite flavors are Sunday Breakfast and Purple Cow Warning: this is a cash only business, but there is an ATM across the street

4.5 stars 5 stars for the ice cream. It was absolutely delicious and homemade. Nice variety of flavors and toppings!! You can get all types of candy, sprinkles and syrups. I have "Happy Couple" which is vanilla ice cream with Heath bar and peanut butter cups with butterscotch syrup and chocolate sprinkles. It was soooo good. Fast service Great location with the shops around and right next to a parking lot. The only downside is there is only a small area with benches to sit. Would definitely go back!!!!

This place was absolutely delicious. Best soft serve I've ever had. Somehow, this is much creamier/thicker than typical soft serve; it seems to melt more slowly. The flavors are all delicious; we had the Chocolate Chip, Lemon Cake, and Burnt Sugar and Butter ice creams, which were all great. We will be back here time and time again for our ice cream fixes. There is no indoor seating, but there are a couple of nice patio tables outside. The area is calm without many cars passing by, so it's a great spot to relax and eat. Value: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

Cookies and Cream... not English Toffee
    Farzin S.

The weirdest thing happened today. I ordered two scoops (regular size) of English Toffee Crunch and raspberry mud pie in a cup. When the ice cream came out the person making it said mud pie and cookies and cream. So I said sorry that is not mine because that is a cone and also I had English Toffee. This person said sorry this is cookies and cream and went to go back and fix it when the other lady taking my order came this side, grabbed the cone, and flipped it in a cup and said no THIS IS the English Toffee. I just don't know why she would lie and act like that and glad I took a picture of the cookies and cream she gave me. So weird. I almost wanted to throw it out and pay them again to make the right order, especially since they don't do samples and I really was looking forward to the English Toffee. Maybe the owners should be less strict on the workers here. Because who lies over preparing the wrong order... it's an ice cream scoop not a plate of caviar... :(

Ice cream is all gone, sorry!

Great little ice cream shop near the parking lot. Mud Pie ice cream! Great flavor. Hit the spot. Offered all the normal flavors as well as some unique ones- shakes, cones, waffle cones & cups.

I visited the establishment last week and found their pricing to be quite reasonable. The quality of the product was also satisfactory.

**DISCLOSURE STATEMENT** I find aspects of writing this…read morereview difficult due to being an Amherst College alum and, therefore, eschewing, forever, all things "Williamstown." You have been informed. :) I have passed The Store at Five Corners to attend my sons' sporting events for years. Today I broke down and tried it for lunch en route to a track meet. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have visited, and how disappointed I am to have wasted a decade not frequenting this place. It's a Normal Rockwell-esq, quaint and rustic colonial country store. The staff was simply outstanding. Local, authentic, attentive, personable yet professional and added to my experience (I wish I had gotten their names). They have delicious looking treats and baked goods, an array of interesting dry goods and unique drinks in a cold case - but the main focus is their breakfast and lunch sandwich, salad, and coffee menu. The list of offerings does not go on for days. It's efficient, and clearly allows them to be good at 12 things - rather than meh at 30. I ordered possibly the greatest plate of food I've ever had in Berkshire County with the white miso hummus and pickled vegetable salad. WOW. It was tasty, well proportioned and conceived, and balanced well beyond my expectations. I did add chicken at the suggestion of the staff - and even the chicken was additive. Perfectly cooked (I suspect wonderfully sous vide), tender, all natural, and tasty. I enjoyed it so much that as soon as my first plate was cleared (yes, you heard that correctly), I ordered a second!!! And, for the record, it was not due to a skimpy portion. It was due to how much I enjoyed my lunch. It's menued at $15 before chicken addition - call it $21 all in with protein and tax. So so worth it. I literally cannot wait to find an excuse to come back to *GULP* Williamstown. I believe our spring sports schedule has us back relatively soon. The staff made me promise to try the falafel next time. I certainly will (very likely with another one of these as well). Fantastic.
