I was really pleased that when I called the lice clinics Arizona, I was able to get an appointment for my daughter that same day. It is so stressful as a parent to be dealing with lice for two children, and I have got to say that this clinic took care of us. They answered so many questions from us, they were super knowledgeable and worked quickly yet efficiently to help get all of the things out of my daughter's curly hair. I feel confident with the 30 day guarantee, and if we ever do have lice in our house again in the future, we will absolutely come back to have them take care of it. read more

So ew--you have discovered you, or your kids, or possibly your entire family have tiny creepy crawly friends. You're probably absolutely panicking. I was. Times 2 because I have really severe allergies and have to use hypo allergenic, fragrance free products. After going through every lice removal service in the Phoenix metro area's website, Lice Clinics Arizona's products seemed like the best bet for my allergies. I reached out to the owner, Holly. She got us an appointment within two hours and fully informed our technician of my situation. Joelle had all the products out and waiting so I could read labels and we could decide the best way to proceed. The service itself was quick and thorough and the whole time Joelle was explaining how to clean brushes, pillowcases, stuffies, etc, I felt so much better after the appointment. None of it was as catastrophic as I'd imagined. We went back 10 days later for a recheck and were all lice free. I can't say enough good things about Jo. She also has allergies, so she really understands how to work with a client with allergies on top of just really knowing what she's talking about and being good at her job. I will say, my kid told me her head itched and I checked her and didn't see anything for several days--until I did. I would really recommend just booking a check with Lice Clinics Arizona if you even kind of suspect lice. It takes 15 minutes and costs $25 and then you know for sure. The treatment options range from $99 to $185 and yes, that's a lot but then you're done with it and have peace of mind. Look, no one wants to need a business like this, but Lice Clinics of Arizona made the process as fast and easy as possible and were reassuring every step of the way. read more

First-time experience so I was definitely paranoid and scared, we were told by family members that they had it so we got checked as a precaution. I almost gave 4 stars because the day I was trying to get appointment it took me 3-4 hours to hear back and get a confirmed time, but they were able to get us on Wednesday night to get checked and said we'd have to do treatment the next morning if they found any. The check was quick and felt a little rushed because it was near the end of the day (5pm and she said she was off at 6 and we were here absolute last people), but she checked and we came in the next day. Today we were told 3 of the 4 in our family don't have anything, and our one school-aged daughter had the freezing treatment and they got some eggs out. Overall very thorough and they answered all the questions we had. Extremely appreciative of the younger technician who helped calm my daughter down and distract them. Hopefully we won't be back soon but it's a good quick service and they have a clean playroom for kids to enjoy, they helped explain that maybe we caught it early and the first head check maybe removed everything, I was confused why we showed up the next day and couldn't find anything but happy either way that we are clear! read more

Today my Lice killer technician Gracie (at the Gilbert location on Lindsey Rd) couldn't have been a more professional, compassionate & caring individual. She answered all our questions (even some that were probably totally embarrassing for some), explaining throughout the process what she was using, and why. I felt so secure in her confidence, that it just lifted the stress and anxiety from this first time "parasite host". I told her that this is a calling, and she is doing God's work, because today she was my angel ! Our other technician (sorry I forgot your name!) was just as professional and knowledgeable about the equipment, process, and explaining the post procedure Re: getting rid of any lice in the home) and her bedside manner was also confident and reassuring. From this old RN (with over 25+ yrs of experience caring for others), to you readers: the cost of the entire procedure was SO WORTH the care we received & relief I feel now. At checkout time, they recommended a couple products they have for sale to use atand also told us about alternatives for each product if we needed to save $. Now THATS an honest salesperson if I've ever seen one. Another bonus: we got to pay with our Health Savings Account (FSA/HSA) card!! read more

This was more expensive than I had thought, but worth the peace of mind. Chris was helpful and very comforting. This my first experience with lice and my stress and anxiety were through the roof, but Chris was very informative and reassuring. He was patient and thorough. He made sure my son was comfortable. It was painless and we were both done in about 1.5 hours. I highly recommend this quick and stress free treatment if you can afford it. Also, the 30-day guarantee for the family is also reassuring and offers more peace of mind. read more

We called and got a same day appointment which was the first bit of good news from what had been a pretty terrible morning. The staff is awesome and very knowledgable. Unfortunately, this wasn't our first rodeo with lice and we knew what we were in for with home treatment -- all the combing, all the crying and all the fighting. Wash. Rinse. Repeat for at least two weeks (ugh). Please do yourself and your family a favor and give these pros a try. I cannot stress enough how easy their process is for everyone. We filled out some routine paperwork and were on our way back home in an hour! The stress is gone the lice is gone and we're back in school nit free. The 30 day guarantee is a nice piece of mind. When lice hits the classroom you never know what's going to happen. We love that we can bring our daughter back if we see any of the signs of lice again. I would highly recommend giving liceclinicschandler.com a try. read more

I was so embarrassed by my baby having caught lice from who knows where and then hosted a party in my hair! I used to think that one had to be in a very dirt area to catch lice, that's a myth. I didn't even know this fantastic place existed. The gals were so kind and fun to be around. They made me and my daughter feel relaxed and unashamed of our then situation! They were very thorough. Although I say we walked out with the braid of shame, we walked out confident read more

I must admit I was extremely skeptical at first, but in desperation I booked an appointment. I have long thick hair and have never had lice before. Trying to treat the lice myself was very difficult, painful, and near impossible! The treatment at Lice Clinics of America was painless and very effective! I would have been a prisoner to those pests for weeks while trying to comb out the nits & prevent a re-infestation, but thanks to this place I am lice free! :) :) :) If you suspect that you or your family might have lice I highly recommend this place! Amazing! read more

Wonderful visit! The staff is super nice, helpful, and informative. They made my daughter comfortable, put on a movie for her and made conversation so she wouldn't be intimidated! The guarantee is perfect too! My daughter went to school the next day, got told she had knits (it was only dandruff), and got sent home. I called and set up a second appointment. Her head got checked a second time with no charge and no questions asked. We even left with a note that said her head was checked and she was free from lice AND knits. Hoping not to return (obviously) but if my girl gets lice again, we know where to go! read more

I got the dreaded "we found kids with lice" call from my daughter's preschool. I checked online for guidance and found Lice Clinics of America. They are friendly, patient with the young ones, and thorough. There's enough laundry and clean up to do at home, it's nice to not have to worry about whether or not you picked out all the nits. There's a lot of comfort with the 30 day guarantee. It's pricey, but you can use your HSA funds. I say it's worth every penny. read more

As a 61 year old RN, I was horrified to find I had lice and nits in my own hair!! My sister in law works in a day care center a brought them home to my mother in law and eventually myself as well. I tried the drugstore treatment on my sister in law and my mother in law, and thought I did pretty well. But when I got infested and tried the same treatment, I just couldn't get the nits out of my hair!! I was so impressed with the technicians at LCOA, they got me in the same day I called, the got all the nits out of my hair and I slept well that night knowing I was lice free! They got everyone else in the next day and it was worth every penny!! read more

Gave us after care directions and instructions on what items we needed to disinfect or just run in the dryer. Worth the money and peace of mind! read more

I own a group home for foster children, and nearly all children who come to stay with us have lice. Within a couple of treatments, the lice is gone. In this last case, I had a child who had very long hair, and it was difficult to treat. We spent $100's (more than the cost of this treatment) trying over the counter treatments, ClearLice treatment, and other home remedies. The owner and staff were extremely friendly, the kids felt very comfortable, and with their tips and tricks, I am very confident our children are, and will remain lice free. We will even be returning for our complimentary 30-day check. Our experience here was so great, that I have decided to treat all children who come into our care, at the Lice Clinics of America-Chandler! Let the professionals get it done for you! read more

A few years back, we used Lice Doctors with great success to treat the family. No chemicals, but a slow tried and true method of smothering the lice with olive oil over a period of a couple of weeks. It's a pain in the butt, fairly expensive to have a professional come out to the house and treat/train the family, but no harmful chemicals and keeps attacking the lice by removing their oxygen supply until their life cycle is broken. Fast forward to December 2016. We suspected that our older daughter was infected with lice. We had a strong family referral to Lice Clinics of America and a family trip approaching in a very short time...two strikes against the slow olive oil method. LCA is a much sexier choice; advertised as a one time treatment with a success rate claimed as 99.8%. The staff seems compassionate and knowledgeable and we went for it. Treatment was relatively fast, and when we got home, we followed additional instructions on changing sheets, cleaning furniture and car seats, making sure girls wear their hair in ponytail religiously. Our older daughter never stopped complaining of itchiness, but due to the confidence of the LCA staff plus multiple potential causes of itchiness, we gave it some time, trusting in the treatment method. Just outside of 4 weeks out, she complained about a seeing a bug . We took her back in, they re-checked her and she was still infected. There is a guarantee on the treatment...a 30 day guarantee folks. They would not do a free treatment outside of the window...fine, its America and its not my business. However, a bug takes 2-3 weeks to hatch, so that means she was never clear. As a concession, the owner offered half price to redo the family. Not unreasonable to a small business owner who has to pay the bills, but short-sighted in my opinion due to the above mentioned fact. As a middle class family that spent over $500 for a treatment that didn't work, it was a big fat no brainer not to spend another $300 for a treatment that didn't work the first time. In retrospect, I believe there is more risk to a single shot method effectiveness because it is based on a single human inspection versus treatment over several days with an inspection each day plus a couple of weeks of cutting off the oxygen supply for several hours at a time. Pain in the butt? Absolutely, however seems to be a much better choice in the long run. read more

Highly recommended!! I was referred by a friend after finding a lice bug in my hair, was give an appointment right away! Super nice and informative. Do not waste your time and money on over the counter products when you can get this done in one shot! read more

I noticed my 4 year old scratching her head before preschool. Upon further inspection, to my horror, I found lice. I've never had lice, but in an all female house, this discovery was Halloween ready horror. I checked my other daughter and yup! She has it too! I called first thing in the morning, right as the doors opened, ready to drive to another state if the situation calls for it, just to get rid of these nasty critters! I got an appointed 2 hours after my call! All of us were checked, and all 3 kids had lice, so time for treatment! My 4 year old had a particularly nasty case, that took a god awful amount of combing to get rid of, but they turned on a movie and were super patient when she got a little fidgety. Despite it being a chore, they were super thorough with removing all the nastys! Also, they'll show you the bug and eggs they find, so they are super honest. Yeah, I could've bought shampoo from the store, spent hours of my life every day and combed 3 heads of hair, but we walked out lice free after a couple hours, and that was worth every penny! (With a 30 day guarantee!) Not only that, staff is SUPER friendly and they defintely now what they are doing. So, if you ever wake up one morning to a science project on your child's head, defintely come here! read more

Thank the stars for this business. My children were sent home from school due to lice and we were in the clinic within in the hour of them leaving school. The staff is kind, friendly and extremely professional. The Lice clinic knows everything and anything to know about lice, how to treat it and take care of your home after lice. Plus, they really make you feel at ease about a situation you DO NOT want to be in. Honestly, it is pricey but it was worth every penny. You receive a certificate that you were treated and my children were back in school the next day completely lice and nit free. read more

Took my 10 year old to this clinic Tuesday Dec 20 for Lice treatment after getting a call from school. I paid to have her treated, they checked my hair, purchased 2 products for $230.00. Left the store with a guaranteed certificate etc. I inquired if we needed to re-treat in 7 to 10 days because maybe the lice would come back. The girl said no it was guaranteed to work, but I could come back in within 30 days if there was re-infestation but that wouldn't happened due to high tech drying egg machine etc...... Fast forward to Sat Feb 25 at 9:00pm I noticed her itching her head a bit. I asked do you have Lice, no mommy how could that be probably just dry scalp. Both of us remembered the "gaurantee!" Well Oh my heck if I didn't stick her in the tub and start to comb through this was so so so bad. Her lice had never gone away. So stinking disgusted and since we shared a hat on an outing I was unfortunate enough to get it this time too. Another 48 hours lost to combing, cleaning, heat drying etc. This place is the biggest rip off. I could have just spent 15 dollars on a kit that would have had me repeat treatment in 7 to 10 days. I would give no stars but that wasn't an option. Please do not guarantee things that you cant. read more
