Very nice group, listen to what I had to say, explain the issues to me clearly, very clean facility, highly recommend.

Owner threatened to void my warranty for truthful review

DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SHOP!!!!!!! I brought my car in to have my front brakes repaired (for an overpriced $400) and when I picked my car up and drove through the parking lot I heard a thumping noise. I reversed back to the shop and asked him to check the sound and this is when he tells me I have 2 nails in my 2 rear tires. When I arrived at the shop my tires were new. His mechanic drove my car to the back and if there was an issue prior to him doing the work he would have mentioned it to avoid this situation. This is a scam. After he CALLED THE POLICE in hopes that I would leave, he offered to plug the holes 'for free' although he argued that it was not his fault and called the cops because I was not satisfied with plugged tires as opposed to new ones. DO NOT GET SCAMMED UPDATE: Minutes after I posted this review he texted me to tell me that he would void my warranty if I did not remove this negative review and I didn't want to do that because I would probably need it. He then attempted to sell me a set of 4 tires for $450 instead of $650 since I have 'custom tires'. This is a scam to make you pay for tires that you never needed. Either his mechanic did not sweep the floor properly before pulling my car into the shop or he drilled bolts in my tires in hopes of a higher sale, either way this is BAD BUSINESS and can only/ will only be solved in small claims court.i

I know nothing about cars but noticed my car was leaking... definitely not normal right? I took it into pep boys and they wanted $40 to take a look at it, also, I had to stand there for a good 10 minutes before anyone bothered to help me or even acknowledged me. I called liberty tech & tire and was told to bring it and someone would take a look. I drove over and spoke with the owner. He was very nice and took the time to check out my car. He told me it was just normal AC stuff but said my radiator was leaking at one point... and I would have to get it fixed sometime in the future. My car is high mileage because I drive it back and forth from CA so much. I liked how the owner addressed my problem and didn't try to sell any unnecessary repairs to me. The shop is small, but service I give 5/5. The front could use some cleaning but prices are very good compared to other auto places! I'm recommending liberty tire & tech to all my friends

These are emails from the owner taking responsibility and telling me what a wonderful person I am

Honesty Is Hard to Find--Which Makes It Worth Recognizing…read more I retired to Henderson, Nevada, in 2010. I love the weather, the active lifestyle in my 55+ community, and the fact that Las Vegas is only about 30 minutes away, offering countless restaurants, entertainment, and services. Unfortunately, living here has also taught me another lesson: the old saying "Buyer Beware" is more relevant than ever. Over the years, I have found that many businesses--whether in medical care, auto repair, legal services, home repair, or other industries--either overcharge for their services or fail to deliver what they promise. As consumers, we often have little choice but to trust the professionals we hire, making honesty and integrity more important than ever. To me, a truly exceptional business is one that takes the time to explain what is needed, treats customers with respect, performs quality work, and charges a fair price. In other words, it follows the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated. Imagine how much better our communities would be if every business operated that way. While companies like this seem increasingly rare, I was fortunate enough to find one recently. I took my 2022 vehicle--with only 22,000 miles--to an auto repair shop that had serviced it several times before. I requested nothing more than a routine oil change. About an hour after leaving the car, I received a phone call informing me that they had discovered major front-end damage. I was told the vehicle was unsafe to drive and that the repairs would cost between $1,800 and $1,900. The diagnosis didn't make sense. My car had never shown any symptoms of front-end problems, so I decided to seek a second opinion. I brought the vehicle to Sonny's Auto Repair at 1000 Stephanie Place, Henderson, NV 89014. From the moment I called, I noticed a difference. The receptionist greeted me warmly, listened carefully to my concerns, and assured me they would be happy to inspect the vehicle. After spending 30 years in customer service, I know how much first impressions matter, and this one was outstanding. I dropped off the car and was told there would be an $85 inspection fee. Later that day, I returned expecting to hear the worst. Instead, I received some of the best news I could have hoped for. The technician--and even the owner, Chris--carefully inspected the vehicle and found none of the damage described by the first repair shop. In fact, the only problem they discovered was that the oil filter installed during the previous oil change had been improperly fitted and was leaking oil. They corrected the problem immediately. Then came the biggest surprise of all. When I asked what I owed, I was told there would be no charge. Chris explained that the repair required very little time and that he could tell how distressed I had been over the prospect of an unnecessary and expensive repair. Think about that for a moment. How often do you encounter a business that could have charged you for an inspection, recommended unnecessary repairs, or simply taken advantage of the situation--but instead chose honesty, integrity, and compassion? Those qualities deserve to be recognized. Because of this experience, Sonny's Auto Repair has earned my trust and my future business. More importantly, they restored a little of my faith that ethical businesses still exist. In today's world, honesty and integrity are qualities worth celebrating. If more businesses--and perhaps even more institutions--followed the example set by Sonny's Auto Repair, our communities would be stronger, trust would be easier to earn, and life would be better for everyone.

Not only did they diagnose and fix the transmission problem, but they also discovered other issues I had no idea about. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me so I understood exactly what was going on with my truck. What really stood out was their communication. They kept me updated the entire time--whether it was parts being ordered, delays in delivery, or progress on the repairs. I was never left wondering what was happening, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They even provided pictures showing the damaged parts side by side with the new ones, which really showed their transparency and attention to detail. On top of that, they made sure to test drive the truck to confirm everything was running smoothly before handing it back to me. They also stepped in and corrected a mistake made by my warranty parts vendor, which could have easily turned into a much bigger headache. That level of honesty and dedication is hard to find. Overall, Sonny's Auto Repair is professional, thorough, and truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work, and clear communication.

Unfortunately, our experience with this shop was extremely disappointing…read more We originally brought our car in on June 29 to have the shocks replaced. After picking it up, we immediately noticed a clunking noise that had not been present before the repair. When we brought the vehicle back, we were told an additional part needed to be ordered. From there, communication became a major issue. Days passed without any updates, and our attempts to reach the shop went unanswered. However, after my wife posted a negative review, we received an immediate response and were told to bring the car back in. The new part was installed, but the problem persisted. At that point, we were told a "brand-name" replacement part would need to be ordered instead (why is he not using brand name products?). While we understand that repairs don't always go as planned, we were left without confidence in the reliability of our vehicle and received very little proactive communication throughout the process. By July 8, we still had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status. During that call, the owner informed me that the part had actually arrived the day before and that he was planning to call us to bring it in "within the next few days." After already waiting more than a week, this was frustrating. What bothered us most was the way our concerns were handled. When I explained that we were unhappy with how the situation had been managed, the owner immediately became defensive. At one point, he told me that he "isn't responsible for my emotions." When I expressed concern that we had been left without reliable transportation, he responded that the car was "completely fine to drive." Given the ongoing noise and unresolved repair issue, this was not reassuring. A quick google search proved that the statement was not only incorrect but negligible and could have caused major damage to the car. When I asked whether we could receive a refund and take the vehicle elsewhere, he said that refunds were not available. The conversation became increasingly unproductive and hostile, and he eventually refused to discuss the matter further because my wife had signed the paperwork rather than me, despite the fact that I was present when the vehicle was dropped off. Shortly after the call, he texted my wife and stated that after installing the new part, he no longer wanted to service her vehicle because I had been "rude" to him on the phone. To be clear, I never raised my voice, used profanity, or became disrespectful. I simply expressed that we were unhappy with how the situation had been handled and wanted to explore our options. Our frustration comes from the lack of communication, the delays, and the dismissive and defensive responses we received when trying to resolve the problem. Additionally, we were completely turned off by the fact that the parts he uses is not of good enough quality that would prevent this issue from the first place. It took three total installations to resolve the matter, the first two was with his own parts that failed, the third was with a brand name that worked. In the end, we were left feeling unheard, unsafe, and without confidence in either the repair, the customer service or the shop. Based on our experience, we would not return and cannot recommend this shop. EDIT: I had a feeling that the owner would reply. But as you can see, there's nothing that addresses the way he treated us just that he repaired the car. Yes, he repaired the car after failing to do so the first 2 times he worked on it. He let us drive off twice with an impaired car that was caused by him. Guess all that he cares about is doing the work EVENTUALLY, not doing it right or doing it well the first time. AVOID.
