Cute small taco cafe with plenty of seating! Came in around 10am on a Monday morning. The tacos are medium sized and so 2 are pretty filling. The flour tortillas were on point- buttery and flaky. The fillings were as expected. I bought the jalapeño sausage, egg and cheese and there wasn't anything too exciting for my taste buds. Same with the potato, egg and cheese. Would I come back? That's tough because for close to $20 I think I would have had tastier food at the food trucks on Gessner and Long Point. 2 bottle waters and 3 tacos was $17. Service was welcoming and if trying to eat somewhere close to the mall for a quick Texmex bite...this would suffice! read more

I ordered online. One of the workers greeted me when I walked in & she had my order ready. The order was correct and they even included salsas, so I didn't have to ask. It's a small restaurant with a few tables & it was clean. The tortillas used for the tacos were good. I ordered a chorizo & egg, potato & egg, bacon & egg with cheese and a brisket & egg. All of the tacos tasted good. Personally I wished the eggs had some seasoning. I added salt & pepper when I got back to the hotel. The potato and egg one said that it was supposed to have Cajun seasoning in the online description, but I could tell. The best taco was the brisket & egg one. The meat had good flavor & perfectly cooked. I would definitely order that taco again. My husband also liked that the bacon was thick and good sized slices, not just bits mixed in. I've been to Liberty Taco a handful of times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast tacos are really good! I highly recommend giving those a try. My favorite are the steak tacos. Now that I know that they have an all day menu during breakfast time, I always order the regular steak tacos in the mornings. The service is quick. The staff is very friendly and patient. I will say that the price for the tacos are a little bit on the pricier side however, it's definitely worth it. read more

We ordered about 6 different tacos. The breakfast tacos (egg/potato/cheese, egg, bacon, cheese, egg, brisket, cheese) and the kogi steak taco were the best ones we tried. I would eat these tacos again! The shrimp taco had good flavor, but the shrimp was overcooked and chewy. I would not get that one again. The kid's cheese quesadilla was a bit dry, but the rice and refried beans that came with it was pretty good. It was actually a little addicting and I will probably order it with my next meal. You might need to be a little patient as the food is not super quick if dining in. I did see a steady flow of take out orders, so that might be the way to go if you are in a rush. read more

I stopped by Liberty Taco for a late lunch before an event in the area on a weekday. Located in a shopping center, parking won't be an issue. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. Liberty Taco is similar to Torchy's and Velvet Taco in that they're all about creative tacos. Instead of tacos, I went with a quesadilla because throw cheese on anything and I'm a happy camper. I went with the bulgogi quesadilla which comes with a Korean dipping sauce. And a soft drink. The food came out quickly and the quesadilla was a generous portion. I love the fusion of Mexican and Korean which you'll see at some food trucks and they do it well at Liberty Taco. Service was friendly and they have free WiFi. All in all, a solid spot for a quick meal with a creative menu in a laid-back atmosphere. read more

This is no regular taco joint! This is the 3rd LT restaurant. They recently opened and seem to be doing great! Parking is very convenient. Love that! Service was great. The young man helping me made suggestions and was super informative. Tasty tacos and lots of menu options. I had the Texas Brisket and the Cali Club, both on a flour tortilla. They must be freshly made as you order because both tacos were piping hot! The atmosphere is good with fun murals on the wall. They have bar top type seating available and regular tables with chairs if you prefer a lower style. The fountain drinks are Pepsi products. They also have a small standing cooler with Bubly canned drinks and juices. There are a couple tables outside for dining too. Good news, Liberty Taco serves breakfast tacos all day! Came in as a first time customer, and the area is really busy. Ordered 2 breakfast tacos for dine in, they were brought out as to go. No big deal. Ate one and took the other to go. On my way out I grabbed 2 extra hot sauces, their sauces are in small containers and the tacos are pretty large. It was pretty busy and Im new so I might have missed the sign where it said only 1 hot sauce per taco..but the girl working snapped at me and made a huge deal about it in front of everyone. So I asked her okay, how much does it cost for extra sauce then? And she said don't worry about it I'm just letting you know for next time....OK. To bark at someone over hot sauce is crazy. I know we're all not in a good mood after this disaster of a hurricane but she could have nicely let me know and pulled me to the side not bark at me like a dog. I'm seeing in other reviews similar experiences were had with a female staff member. Not to mention for the few minutes I was there eating, I had to listen to her openly talk crap about another employee without a care of what she was putting out into the public. It was uncomfortable and she's clearly unhinged. I also didn't leave a tip but was thinking about leaving a cash one on my way out....so maybe she was upset about that. But I'm glad I didn't. I don't do the random tipping upfront for placing an order or before knowing how the food or service is. If it checks out I'll leave a cash one or something the next time. I've been to Liberty Taco twice and thoroughly enjoyed both visits! I went for a casual lunch on a Saturday and during the week. Both days were relatively busy, but time to order and time to get food didn't take more than a few minutes. The lady at the front is very helpful with questions and for giving recommendations. The service was amazing, and the food was flavorful! I went to this location because it's right by my gym and I desperately needed to get some food in me. The woman (I didn't catch her name) that helped me was so incredibly nice. She walked me through the whole menu and gave me personalized recommendations. I went with a Kogi steak quesadilla and some chips and queso. The quesadilla was delicious and had so much flavor! The queso was good and stayed warm all through my drive home. Came at opening time today, asked to wait outside for 5mins while the only visible staff member Andrea was setting up, no problem. When i came back in the welcome wasn't so warm. Took my order in a grumpy mood, gave snappy replies to my questions (this was my first time visiting). I seemed to be in her way, spent $47. She started preparing an order which was ahead of me (assuming it was online as I was the first there) she packed it in a aluminum tray, my order was larger and she packed it in regular bags and placed it infront of me with a quick "here you go" she walked away. Our order was wrong. We called back and no one even apologized. They wouldn't give us a refund, either had to drive all the way back or a free taco next time. The cheese on my taco was halfway in the foil. The queso had an odd flavor to it and our chips were very over fried.
