My go to is the Ships in the Night(you can get it as a salad too), I'm not a vegetarian but the flavors of all the items in it go well together. I had packed lunch, but it smelled so good in here I had to give it a try. They have salads, sandwiches on Pasta's fresh bread, and other sides. The shelves are stocked with all sorts of pasta, sauces, etc. I almost wanted to spend the rest of my day in here, even if it was just taking a seat and looking out the window. I decided to try the State St sandwich. It was so fresh and delicious. I can tell they put a lot of care into their preparation. You can call to order ahead if you're on a time crunch. I will definitely be back!

I now have my own back to back experiences to share, so let's go! #1 -we stopped by 15 minutes before closing mid-week. Robby had shut down the ovens early because it was a crazy "yellow sky" crappy air quality day, and business was off. No problem, watcha got? A couple of leftover slices? Sold! We hit a picnic table outside; a minute or two later, Robby comes out and comps us a few more slices that were unsold. Love it! #2 -we ordered a calzone a few days later. Yes, it is crazy big, and delicious. Wings were just as they should be: crispy, and drenched in Frank's Red Hot. Prices are shockingly reasonable (shhh!) that it's worth the trip from F/M to Jamesville on a regular basis. My friend lives for their cheeseburger-we'll put that on the list down the orad.

But it's just as good as it was back then. The sandwich I got was quite delicious. The pesto didn't overpower anything. And the bread had a nice crisp to it. Great flavor, chicken was tender. I would certainly get it again. The staff was friendly and the food came up quickly. The ambience is definitely casual, what you would expect for a small sandwich shop. It's too bad that I have not been here in quite some time. I will return again soon I hope. Prices a little high where is it not high anymore. Great place to stop if you're looking for lunch quick

Mine didn't come out the first time but I wasn't going to bring it up however the worker came by to double check that I got it and reordered it from the kitchen for me. The chicken and rice bowl was one of the best I've had very flavorful. I also got the Philly cheesesteak which satisfied my craving. I think the Philly cheesesteak could've had more meat and I found the plain fries to be lacking salt without the Cajun seasoning but still tasty. It's very hot inside and it seems like their takeout is very active so that's what I would recommend. They have tons of different drinks inside like a gas station and also offer dessert. If you've ever been to the famous TKB Deli in Palm Springs this is a very similar setup in Syracuse. Can't wait to try more things!

Was in the mood for a Chopped Cheese and in rare form I got it with almost all the veggies (im veggie picky). Tomato, lettuce, seasoned ground beef.
