I GIVE THEM A BIG FAT 0!!!!!!! I had no choice but to HAVE to give them 1 star... My 82 year old father who just moved here decided they looked like a nice place. When he arrived he said "I would like to order a burger and fries" he was being silly ( a little old man humor. Then outa nowhere 1 guy appeared asking " did you just order a fries and burger?" My dad responded "yes I was kidding" then 2 more guys appeared and all continued with telling him to get the F@&$ outa their store. So he left in shock. After reading all the negative reviews on here... it sounds like this is normal. Not to mention the fact that the response from the owner is even worse. We have been coming here for years and had no problems until today. My husband took his truck in for a lube and oil change. He checked the oil level when he got home and it had been over filled by 1/2 quart. He took the truck back to have some of the oil drained. He was not mad and and wasn't disrespectful, but just asked that they drain some of the oil. The manager and his employee got all upset and were very rude stating that having extra oil does not hurt anything, which we know is not true. "It increases oil pressure, putting more stress on seals and gaskets, which over time accelerates wear on the seals and gaskets and can allow the crankshaft to come into contact with oil, causing a foamy, frothy substance that cannot properly lubricate the engine." This is according to Google. My husband asked the manager to sign the receipt stating that the oil was overfilled. The manager at first said no, but then changed his mind and then told my husband to leave and not come back, which after this experience, and such horrible customer service, we would not even consider going back! read more

Was a faithful customer with this place for a few years, the owner and his son tried looking at my vehicle that had a small coolant leak and the son squeezed a hose breaking it worse. I called to talk about it and the owner cussed me out and hung up on me. HORRIFIC customer service! We have been taking all of our vehicles here for several years and they are the best! Their customer service is wonderful, they are kind and polite and they are honest. Just today they suggested holding off on a repair that they could've easily charged us for and we would never have known. I am very impressed by their honesty. I have also brought our truck here just to have them check a couple things over before going on a trip and they were happy to do so and didn't charge anything. I wish I could give more stars to this place. I am moving. My moving company came and packed up all my things and took off. I get in my car, ready to leave and it won't start. I panicked. Called my dad crying. All my belongings are headed across the state and I need to be there by 6pm. My dad calls Brian and he came right to my apartment complex, jumped my car, had me drive it to his shop while he followed me, and got me in immediately to change my dead battery and get me on my way. Went and got my oil changed this last Friday and my truck died in the pit turns out our fuel pump went out. Had to have my husband come rescue me and fix it. The owners were so gracious to our young family. Even fed my kids some pizza. They went above and beyond. Being a single income homeschool family things are tight for us it's not always easy and having to buy these extra parts is a hit but to not have to worry from this business took a huge load off with them being kind to us. As long as we live here they will always have our business and that of anyone we tell. read more

I can't recommend this business enough. We moved to Liberty Lake last Fall and shortly afterward needed to change the oil in my wife's car. Liberty Lube was the closest so I took a chance and tried them out. The service was quick, professional, and thorough. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They knew what oil I needed and provided me the price right away. They were done in under 15 minutes and that included checking tire pressure and vacuuming front floors. Found this business on Yelp. Called first to see if I needed to make an appointment. First come first serve so I drive down and their computers were down so they closed for the day . Since I had called prior, they reopened their doors for me, looked up my vehicle specs and performed the oil change. What a wonderful family owned business. They even vacuum your car for you while the oil is being changed. They have won my business for life. This place is phenomenal! We used to take our cars to another place but found it difficult to get scheduled when it was convenient for us. Liberty Lube's efficiency and customer service is amazing! Once they even drove out help my husband when his car battery died! They go out of their way to take care of our vehicles and also to help out their customers. The very first rule of customer service is how you make a customer feel, it doesn't matter what you are selling. It must have been an 'off-day' at this place of business or maybe I was wearing the wrong shirt or something? Either way, never again. Body language and attitude speaks for more than 80% in human communication and I guess I was just not worth the manager's time (owner's son). He made discourteous assumptions of my knowledge of the maintenance for my vehicle. I will give him credit, he did realize his mistake mistreating me like a second-class citizen once the bill was due by offering a discount. I had intended before his behavior, to get additional maintenance completed that would have totaled in the hundreds of dollars, this did not happen. Sadly, I intend to tell anyone and everyone about how the 'millennium owner's son' treats his customers. Never Again. read more

They offered to either come in on their day off the next day or stay late and get our oil change done in 20 minutes. We opted for the latter and they were so quick and courteous. Feb 2018 update: Clearly this place has new management and the quality took a huge nosedive. These guys were above and beyond the best overall business I've dealt with and used them for years. As soon as I didn't see the normal workers I wondered what was up. Still gave them a chance and it took well over an hr for a standard oil change. A quarter of that time the car sat with no one around it. I was curious if maybe it was a one off situation but now i see the recent reviews on here and google show the same. Such a shame, RIP liberty lube Been using these guys for about 3 years now. Courteous and honesty aren't qualities you find often in the car servicing industry but these guys define great customer service. Even if I didn't live in this part of town I would come to them for the quick service and zero bs approach. They will even top off all your fluids if you come in between each oil change! My only complaint is that I wish they'd expand to full mechanical work because that is something I still struggle to have a consistently great experience with. read more

I drove 1,100 miles to Washington for the 4th of July, and my SUV was dripping oil. We had just changed the oil at a lube business in Las Vegas the week before, and it was starting to leave puddles. I pulled in to Liberty Lube and was politely greeted and taken to a waiting area. After a few minutes, the technician came in and showed me that the issue was that the other lube joint had put a Honda-spec bolt in the oilpan instead of the Ford/Lincoln bolt. He showed me the slight difference (Honda slightly smaller threads causing the leak), told me he'd already changed it out for the right one. He then refused payment, saying to come back when ready for an oil change. I was flattered by the unexpected generosity, and told him that I would recommend him to all my family who live in Liberty Lake. Good people. read more

This last oil change was fantastic! This business was very recently bought by a new family that is so friendly and on top of it! They were so friendly! They vacuumed the car and were so helpful! My sister took my car in for me and they Charged $20 more then what was quoted. They did not clear the change oil code. The website says oil change comes with fluid top off and tire check..... Used to like this place but things have changed. Went in for an oil change. Was done quickly, but the next morning found a puddle of oil under my car. Finger tight pan plug leaking. Had it tightened by a friend so I could drive to work. When I went back in to have them check it they kept trying to deflect the issue. Never again. read more

Wow!!!!! We had no appointment and walked in hoping to have our Jeep (with 34 zerk fittings) lubed- no oil change needed. The gentleman was friendly, polite and said, "Sure we can do it, no problem." He lubed the Jeep as soon as a bay opened and we were out in 10 minutes. When my husband asked how much he said,"$5 is fine-we gave him $10! I was very disappointed by my experience with Liberty Lube. Employees were not friendly very cold and impersonal, and did it explain the the process or direct me were to go. I live in Liberty Lake and wanted to support a local company, but will not be using them again. I woke the next morning, after my oil change, to find oil on the floor of my garage, which has never happened before. I returned to Liberty Lube and they advised me that the oil filter had a faulty seal which they replaced on the spot at no charge. I question whether or not this was true, I believe the oil filter was not properly installed. read more

My mom has been coming here for years to have her car serviced and has always been pleased with the outcome. Recently her view had changed, upon her last visit to Liberty Lube not only was she not acknowledged as a customer, but when someone finally did notice her it was a guy who didn't even work there! He went as far as to ask which services she wanted, to which she replied a oil change and tire rotation, he told her the tire rotation was a no go because of another car in the bay..didn't make sense. There was also a little girl running around the bay where the cars where being worked on, this is also how my mom found out that the man who approached her didn't work there but was the little girls dad, and that they were just there hanging out. When her car was finally done, they didn't reset her sensor to stop flashing 'change oil' and 'tire pressure' she went back to ask them to do this and the guy gave her attitude and said "I showed you how to do it." She asked what happened to the quality of service there and the old manager apparently got a better job offer and his whole crew walked. Don't waste your time. read more

My first visit. My gut feeling is that this group is good with very good intentions. Had them do an oil change and transmission service. They clean the windows, check the tires, top of service...nice. There is a transmission service liability waiver for transmissions not serviced within 60,000 or vehicles with over 100,000 miles. My vehicle has over 116,000. Make sure the waiver is presented prior to service so you understand. They used a Smart Blend additive that is in addition to transmission service cost. It is needed in my vehicle so I am glad they put it in. They did apply a $20 discount for doing an oil change and transmission fluid change at the same time. Asked about a squeaky belt. I feel Nate gave the right advice...good for Nate. I will go back because they want to do a good job at a fair price. They are a small business competing in a big business climate. We need responsible small, smart businesses. I respect their mission to provide great service at a reasonable price. read more
