Juan and Nef are the very BEST in the business.....they are courteous and kind, and their pricing and service are UNMATCHED!!!! I'll venture no more, to ANYONE else for car service. Bless you BOTH!!! Tommy and Cathereine read more

I've been going there since I moved to Spokane in 2019 and all throughout my time, they have made it a point to give fair and honest evaluations of my old Subaru, e.g., "this can wait, this needs to be fixed now, etc." Recently my wheel bearings went out and were 1000 miles over warranty on the part, a cost of $1400 to replace. Instead of charging me for new bearings, Nef, Juan, and the crew ate the cost because "it didn't seem right" to charge me for something so close to warranty. I cannot more highly recommend them. read more

I am visiting friends from out of town and my car was having issues. I was so stressed!!! I came right when they opened and they helped me right away and checked my cars internal pressure free of charge. They weren't looking for issues and understood I just wanted to have it safe to get home!! Life savers !! They were so understanding and I am so grateful! read more

I had a super expensive quote from another local shop. Called Nef's a few days later to get a second opinion. They got me an appointment and I took my truck in to get it diagnosed. They called me later in the day to tell me my truck was ready. They told me it was a simple fix and they only charged me less than one fifth of what the other guys wanted. Now my truck is running great! read more

These guys are the best ,I take two of my vehicles to nefs, they alway do a great job and are priced well for their services.......

The team at Nef's is absolutely amazing. They went above abs beyond to get the oil changed on my car and let me know what other services are needed all without pressure and at a fair price. They also worked extra hard with my timing and had my car ready before I needed it so I could make it to my other appointments. What great service! read more

My dad has "a guy" (or gal) for everything. Someone he vetts and trusts to do good and thorough work. Dad vetted and approved. He's used Nef for years and worked on my car while I was in town. read more

Thanks to Nef's auto I was able to get my car in within two days to get my a/c serviced. Everywhere else had a least a week long wait, but they scheduled me in right away and worked on it quickly. They provided a reasonable and affordable rate. It actually ended up being cheaper than what they originally quoted me. Highly recommend. If I need anything done I will definitely use them again! read more

Unbelievably upset. I called before hand to ask how much my service would be and was quoted at $35. Because of this low price I chose to go there and wait longer than told. When I got there I was told it would only take an hour to do the service. After an hour, I was told 20-25 minutes. Another hour later is when I got my car. I was charged $90. Then when I got into my car, it reeked of smoke. I had to drive with my windows down. Extremely disappointed considering the other reviews. read more

I had my SUV worked on here and they had amazing customer service and did an excellent job. Thank you!

Most communicative repair shop I've had an experience with; best prices around, and I called 16 places for estimates of a full brake/rotor/caliper replacement. They called me multiple times to keep me in the loop, I never had to call them like so many other shops. Honest and descriptive about the diagnosis, and they make it easy to understand for someone who doesn't know a ton about vehicles. read more

Recently I traveled to Spokane and encountered vehicle issues. I googled Nef's and the reviews were extremely positive. I now know why. I cannot say enough about the service I received there....The owner "NEF" went out of his way to accommodate my needs on my vehicle and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and explained everything to me as he diagnosed my vehicle. Great people, great service and if you ever have any vehicle issue I HIGHLY recommend Nef's to EVERYONE.. read more

Nefs auto repair has done several repairs and inspections for me and what I appreciate most is his honest opinion. I am somewhat versed in auto repair and do all the minor things myself and he has always given me good advice, he has never tried to upsell me or do something that was not necessary, to me that is of the utmost importance. I would not hesitate to send my wife or sister in knowing that they would be treated honestly and fairly. read more

So here's the scenario. I was at our little neighborhood convenience store looking for the number of the backyard mechanic who posted a flyer on their door a few weeks ago. I needed my breaks checked and replaced. The owner of the store gave me a business card for Nef's Auto Repair instead. I called the next morning and got in within an hour for an oil change and brake check. Now keep in mind, I'm the typical single mom bringing in a 25 year old car. It's a good car, but being as old as it is, it would be very easy to talk me out of a bunch of money in order to fix it up. I was told that my brakes should be replaced, but I have a couple months of wear left on the pads. That was huge to me. I was treated like a person and not a dollar sign. Fast forward a few days. My alternator, which had been acting up finally gave up the ghost. I got my car back to Nef's. Once the hood was opened, it was very apparent that my water pump had just died a messy death as well. I dropped my car off at 9am with no appointment and my car was fixed by 3pm! All at a very reasonable price. I can't believe my luck in finding a repair shop I can trust; where I'm really listened to and not being scammed into having things fixed that weren't broken to begin with. This place really earned all of my future business. If you don't have a regular mechanic or are not satisfied with your current repair shop, I highly recommend Nef's Auto Repair. The shop is clean, the owner is very honest, ans the prices are very reasonable. read more

Nef's is the best! You won't be disappointed in their service. They will be honest about anything going on with your car. Highly recommend.

I asked them to look at the engine and it's extremities to find out why it dies after driving 50 miles ot eventually got down to only 20 miles. They replaced a part and charged me 418 and it was still doing this. They said bring it in for 1200 we'll replace the throttle body and you'll be good to go. At this point I did not trust them so I had my boyfriend change the throttle body. That was not the problem. We asked around and it was the mass airflow sensor. Easy fix $40 part. I'm just saying they were going to charge me 1200 and my car still would not have been running properly. They already charged me 418 for my car to not run properly. I'm glad I could get it fixed but I can't believe I would be duped into fixing things that do not need to be fixed. read more

I have had multiple repairs done on both of my vehicles at nef's and have always came away satisfied. He hasn't tried to take advantage of me (I actually used to work on cars but had to stop due to disability, so I know more than I appear to), and his rates are extremely competitive. Seems like a nice guy, as well. It's the only shop in town for me. read more

Excellent service, fair prices, knowledgeable staff, and they do great work. The owner Neff fixed my 2003 jaguar after I had went to many other shops that either couldn't diagnose the problem or the prices seemed unreasonable. I was very satisfied with there work and service. I highly recommend. read more

They did a wonderful job, so nice and helpful! They had my truck fixed up in no time. Would 10/10 recommend!

We pulled into Nef's with a dead alternator on a Friday morning on the second day of our family road trip. The owner/manager was super kind and worked very hard to fit our car into an already busy day and even offered to some in on Sat to finish the job if they couldn't squeeze us in. They finished by 5pm, and we were on our way! The price was very reasonable and our small SUV did great the rest of the two week trip. Thank you, Nef! read more

Great knowledge service, won't rip you off by fixing things you don't need. Priced very well.

My husband and I got stranded with car problems when traveling through Spokane. We were referred to Nef's auto from a local service place. We had our car towed to the shop which was going to be closed by the time we arrived but they have a drop off box for keys which is nice. To our surprise when we arrived the owner Neftali was still at the shop. He opened garage door and let us bring the car in. Neftali actually offered to stay and work on our car to get the job done that night. This was GREAT news to us, so kind of him to offer. Once he looked into the problem we had a few more things missing than expected to repair the vehicle. Unfortunately the missing part had to come from a jeep dealer or junk yard. By this time it is to late to call around so Neftali was going to start looking for part first thing in the morning. We were going to grab a cab to the hotel but Neftali kindly offered us a ride, which was greatly appreciated. Next day Neftali called us in the morning and found the part at the car dealer in Seattle. Knowing nothing could be done today we waited for next day hoping part would arrive and we would be back on the road soon. Next day the dealership did not get delivery of part and next delivery was going to be in a few days. Neftali called around and found the part at a junk yard from a car that was just brought in. He got the part and had everything installed by 1pm we were ready to go :). The price was great especially for the time and effort he put into finding this part to get us back on the road. I couldn't ask for better service. Thanks a billion Neftali, now I only wished we lived in Spokane so we could have are car serviced by you all the time. read more

Since taking my Xterra to Neftali I have always gotten excellent service! My rig has been having a rough year, but Neftali has been wonderful at explaining the things going on with my car, my options for fixing it, and always does everything in a timely manner. He gives me updates, and is always quick to answer my phone calls or texts if I have questions. I always trust he is being fair and honest with me. Which is HUGE being I'm female and have been taken advantage of by dealerships in the past. GREAT service! I won't go anywhere else! read more
