Don't let great in store customer service fool you. I bought a 2020 Acadia here and was told it had Been completely checked for any issues and that spark plugs would be my only issue in the foreseeable future. Sadly, within the first 6 months of owning the car, all four hub caps literally popped off while driving (one still had the setup kit INSIDE one of the hub caps). In a recent check up with he transmission fluid was filled with metal particles even after the fluid was replaced the day I picked up the car, the drive train was "beyond degraded". I don't know if this is due to peer negligence or if this place is just a bunch of shady sacks of shit. Either way, save your time and money and go somewhere you won't spend an extra $10,000 within half a year of owning the car on issues they fail to make you aware of. read more

We had the transmission fluid changed in our 2018 Cadillac XT5 Recently. It was our first time having service done at this dealership. We were quoted $500 which seems high but we had been told that our vehicle make & model required a bit of work to get into the transmission to do the fluid change & it was better to go to a dealership to have this done. Our end bill was $628 and the reason given was that the transmission fluid for our car was $124 per quart, but they gave us a break and only charged us $74 per quart because if someone was getting warranty work, that is what they charge (we were not). They said they also discounted the labor. Mind you we were quoted a cost of $500 for this service and had to sign off on that. They also texted us during service and said our radiator showed signs of leaking and added over $2,000 to our bill for that if we agreed. We did not agree. We park our car in our garage and never have had any spots on the floor. The service rep was a fast talking unbelievable guy. We will never go back to George Gee for service again. I am wondering if the transmission fluid really even got changed. I just did not feel we could trust them. On the plus side, Myles, who drove us to the mall while we waited was a great driver and both polite & prompt. read more

I had an 8:30 am appointment for an oil change. 2 hours later and still not done. Whats the point of an appointment if it takes over two hours for an oil change. Either they need to schedule less appointments or work faster. This is ridiculous sitting in there waiting room this long for a basic freaking oil change. Evan was so courteous, caring, friendly, supportive and personable. He helped me considerably with documents that were needed and answered my many questions without ever getting impatient. He went above and beyond my expectations. After several phone calls, I told him he became a "friend in my head" lol. I was very impressed with the videos that Evan encouraged me to review on the features and functions of the KIA. These were easy to watch and extremely beneficial as I had no knowledge of the KIA brand. Jessica in the finance department was wonderful! She is upbeat, customer-oriented, efficient, knowledgeable, and thorough. She walked me through all of the paperwork and made sure to highlight every section that needed my signature or initials. Brought my car here for a recall on the airbags, so I understand that I'm not a 'top rated customer' to begin with. When we made the appointment, the guy my husband talked to try to have us pay to have a technician look to see if there were any other problems, we declined. Day of, I drop my car off and the $186 charge for a diagnostic was on there. Told the guy behind the counter that we still decline the diagnostic. Couple hours later they call to say the car was done soon and they would be starting the diagnostic, I declined yet again! Finally go get my car and I'm waiting behind a technician that's talking to two guys behind the counter, I get told they 'will be with me in a minute' and the tech is complaining about having to do brakes on a dually with custom wheels. 10 mins later, I finally get to the counter. Was told that the recall wasn't completely fixed and the airbag light would still come on unless I paid the $186 to have a diagnostic done to check it. The guys proceeds to talk about how it's usually a wire that shorts under the seat when moved back and forth. Anyone else irritated yet? Driving down the road and I notice there is a new crack in my dash, the panel for the airbag isn't closed all the way, and the decorative wood panel above the glove box isn't closed all the way either. Yes my dash was cracked before going, but you'd think they would at least write up a quote to fix or recommend somewhere to go? read more

I had a great experience purchasing my car here, however the service follow up has been very disappointing. The first service, a routine oil change, took hours to complete rather than the 45 minutes to an hour I was told...additionally, the staff didn't seem to remember me when I checked in on my vehicle's status. Additionally, I reported at the time of service that the brand new mats I had purchased along with the new vehicle were sliding out of place....I was told they could not help me that day but was assured someone would call me to address the issue and discuss a replacement. Weeks later, I still have heard nothing. After getting the vehicle home, I noticed a new issue that seemed to originate with the oil change. Not only is it frustrating to have purchased a brand new car (for which George Gee charged me 2K over sticker price) that I need to spend additional time and effort getting serviced, I was unable to reach the service department by phone to discuss the concern. While my initial experience with this dealership was positive, I have grown increasingly disappointed and mistrusting that they value me as a customer. read more

The car was delivered in brand new impeccable condition. All paperwork was ready and easily signed. This was by far the best car buying experience I have EVER had. Hassle free and knowing that you got a good deal working w great people and knowing next time you buy you'll return to the same dealership. This honest review and customer feedback is specifically for an employee who works in their finance team. I had no issues and actually a wonderful experience with the salesperson. In summary, this relates to a service contract (which is HIGHLY suggested for you to purchase along with your vehicle). While it does seem of value, I simply did not want it. I was told you can cancel this contract within 60 days with no penalties but I requested it to be canceled about 2 weeks after purchase date. Purchase Date: 11/16 I sent emails to my finance guy with no response. 12/2 - I sent a message to my salesperson who was responsive. He said he would talk to the finance guy to call me back. 12/4 - Received a call back two days later stating he would cancel the service contract but it would take a few weeks. 12/14 - Service contract still not cancelled. My loan still includes the 3K service contract. 12/16 - Requested an update via email - No Response 12/17 - Sent an email asking if their was someone else I could talk to (I know everyone is busy) - No Response 12/19 - Sent another update - No response 12/21 - Finally a response stating he did not receive an update on this cancellation which can take up to 8 weeks. 12/24 - Paid my auto payment which includes the 3K (currently accumulating interest for this amount) 1/4 - Happy New Year - Requested an update - No Response 1/6 - Requested an update - No Response 1/11 - Requested an update - No Response 1/12 (Today) - Called customer service who got me in touch with another person from their finance team. Apparently, you have to fill out a form in order to cancel this service contract! Why wasn't I provided this form when I initially asked to cancel this service on Dec 2nd! Was it because after 60 days you don't get all your money back?! That's what it feels like. I filled out the form and submitted it back to a different finance manager. I really hope it was submitted. They say I will get my money back but remember it's part of my loan which in incurring interest! I get hundreds of emails a day for work. It just takes two seconds to reply with some sort of update. REVIEW UPDATE: 1/15 - I received a follow up call from Ryan (Finance Manager) He explained that they did send the funds to the Lienholder on 12/14 (w/o the form filled out) I've been checking the balance everyday but today during our call the total balance was finally updated to the correct amount. Ryan - Thank you for going out of your way and doing a great job with communication. I really appreciate it. 5 Stars I will add a couple more stars to this review because of the service I received from Ryan as well as the other departments and people who didn't deserve the initial one star review. read more

Long but necessary. Dale at George Gee liberty lake this ones for you... I have a long history with Dale and George Gee liberty lake. I want to share with you how a 5 star expirience has dwindled over the years to the point I am at right now wanting me to leave them a 1 star review. 2019 In the fall I began to notice my brakes felt really choppy. I figured time for new brakes so I will take it over to George Gee. When I picked the vehicle up they told me they were able to refinish the rotars and replced the pads. The next day I take the H2 out and instantly that same choppy feeling in the brakes. I decide just to drive back to George Gee to talk to them. I express my concern now that the rotars were refinished and maybe that was not the best idea on such a heavy vehicle with high miles. Instantly I am met with hostility and told that I do not know how many miles are on my own vehicle. I am then told I can take the vehicle anywhere else I want. I am aware of that, however I continue to bring my vehicle back to Dale at George Gee because I thought we had established a relationship of integrity and trust. End of 2019 low coolant pops up on the dash. A couple days later, service air suspension comes on. Not again =/. This was the last straw for the air suspension. I now had my mind set to swap it back to springs. After some hesitation about wether or not to go back to George Gee, I decided to give them another chance. I told Dale take the entire air suspension system out of the vehicle and put it in the back so maybe I could sell the parts of use it again one day. At the same time I had them fix the coolant leak which they said was the water pump. We like to research at home and see how much parts cost and what a job usually entails. After noticing a huge desparity between parts and labor pricing we asked Dale. He explained that they are a business and need to make money. Understandable, like I said I would rather pay more for a job done right, so I accepted the amount that more than doubled the prices I could buy the parts at. $1200 later. I pay and go to get in my car. The first thing I notice is my door panel is just hovering on the door. I grab it and it just falls off in my hand. On the underside is a ton of white glue! Instantly I go grab Dale to inspect the door. He looks at it says, "I can't belive my guy would do this and try to hide it from me. I will take care of this. It may not be the way the manufacturer would do it but let me see if I can find the part first. I will be in touch." I was so happy to get my car back but now so disappointed that something else had been broken. When I got home I opened the back of the car to see the suspension system but it was not there... I bent down and the compressor unit and all the lines were still attached underneath the Hummer!! I called Dale to express this was not what we had talked about and not what I had agreed to. He was trying to do me a favor by leaving the unit attached to keep the service air suspension indicator from coming on. I expressed to him that I wanted everything out and there was another way to bypass the code. I appreciate that he was trying to do me a favor but I do not like having things done that I do not agree to. The conversation ended with him saying he would look into fixing the door and they would take the rest of the air suspension out when I came into get the door fixed. THAT CONVERSATION WAS 4 MONTHS AGO. Dale or anyone from George Gee has NEVER called me back about my property that they damaged. If I had not paid for my mechanic work that I had done they would put a mechanic's lean on my vehicle. Dale I hope you read this. I want you to know that I trusted you. I trusted your word when you told me it would get done. When you told me you would take care of it. This last encounter you lost all credibility in my book. You are lucky to be in a position of power. In a position where you get to lead by example and hold other people accountable. To many times have I taken my property somewhere to have it treated like dirt. I thought you guys were different. I thought I found a place with honest business men that treat their customers with respect and integrity. You still can Dale. You can still be better. Use this as a lesson for you and the men you work with. Be their open door so they can come to you when they break something. Then you must be direct with the customer and let them know what happened. If I felt that you had made an effort to reconcile this in any way, I would not be leaving this review. I do not want you to fix my door now. I will be fixing the door on my own. You will NEVER touch my vehicles again. What I do want from this is for you men at George Gee to be better. Be honest and fair. I was fair with you paying full price but ask yourself were you fair to me, your loyal customer?? read more

After having a horrible experience at the George Gee Kia in Coeur d Alene, we had a wonderful experience in Liberty Lake. Yesterday, we woke up and saw a vehicle we were very interested in. We emailed to get info and got a phone call back from Andrew before they even opened! He was all over it. He started working on our trade before we even arrived. They even agreed to honor a KBB instant quote from AutoNation. We arrived, Andrew helped get the kids carseats in for the test drive. We liked it, worked the trade, did papers and drove away in under 4 hours! Kids played in their awesome playroom. Only recommendation would be for extended hours on weekends in the Cafe. BEWARE! Gee Automotive group have no soul and will screw you over to make a profit. Gee Automotive based out of Spokane had a tent sale in Puyallup with a bunch of used cars. The sales guys were very aggressive and pushy. I was instantly uncomfortable and i wished i would have trusted my gut. I was coaxed because they promised things like if I changed my mind they'd take the car back and sell the car on consignment and said there was no risk because i had a bumper to bumper warenty. They fed off my naiveness. Afterwards I found out I overpaid on book by almost $3grand! There is no way to get out of this car- and it's a lemon. The day after I bought it the door locks stopped working. I took it back to get it fixed and they said the "bumper to bumper" warranty I paid a lot for didn't cover it. It's now having one mechanical problem after another. They took advantage of me and the sales people straight lied to my face. The sales people at Gee Automotive is exactly why car sales men have the rep they do. And what about them taking the car back and selling it on consignment? ..........they packed up their tent sale and went back to Spokane. I can't even get the manager on the phone to complain- they're just gone. Please beware of Gee Automotive. They won't think twice about screwing you over if they smell a profit. read more

I was devastated. Absolutely heartbroken. So I reluctantly began my car shopping, looking for a dealership around the Pullman area with friendly customer service and knowledgable employees. I'm excited to say, I found all that and more with this dealership! Ryan Anderson was my salesman, and helped me find a car that was perfect for me (and fit in my budget)! I am a college student and this was my first time buying a car from a dealership, so I was nervous and had a lot of questions. Ryan made me feel comfortable and never tried to pressure me. He allowed me to test drive the car and gladly gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision including the Carfax report. After I told him I loved the car and wanted to purchase it, Ryan and his team made the process so smooth and easy! I was able to complete the credit application forms online in between classes, and he got back to me right away with the results. I then worked with Marty, in the finance department, to talk about my loan, payment options, extended warranty and insurance options. He was also very nice and I appreciated his positive customer service he gave to me and my cosigner. The best part of all, Ryan cares so much about my satisfaction and happiness with my purchase that he is having the front hood redone because of some paint chips and a new windshield put on because of some small spots that got hit with rocks. Dear Mr. Tuttle, My wife and I purchased a Kia Sedona from your dealership in 2003. In the subsequent years we have brought our car to you for all required service, trusting that you will provide good customer service and take care of our car. We feel that you have done a good job of this until recently. I need to tell you a story about when I brought my Kia in for the 150,000 mile maintenance last Friday, September 13. We had our oil and filter change, and other services that are required for that maintenance, including service to the cooling system. When my wife picked it up it was working fine. On Sunday my wife and I took the car for a drive and when we were almost home I noticed that the temperature gauge was steadily creeping towards hot. We then noticed steam coming from the front of the car. I immediately pulled over and turned it off. I got out, opened the hood and noticed a spray what I would assume was antifreeze coming from the top part of the radiator. This car has never overheated in the 16 years we have owned it. Soon after I opened the hood, the spraying stopped. After it was cool enough I opened the fill opening in the radiator. I did not see any coolant. We had a short way to drive so we continued home. On the way home the car made a terrible noise and started smoking into the car. It's a good thing we were close to home. I pulled the car in the driveway, turned it of and it was steaming again because there was nothing in the radiator. I added some coolant. I then tried to start the car twice and it would not start. The next morning, Monday, September 16, my wife called AAA to bring the car to your service department to have you look at it again. When I was at work that morning Robby called me and asked me to repeat what had happened. I told Robby exactly what I just told you. My wife told me that Robby said that I had told a contradicting story- that there had been liquid in the radiator when it quit. But I am telling you there was none. I promptly called Robby back and he was unavailable. I left a message requesting he call me back. He did not call me back. I called later that afternoon and received his voicemail again. We have not received a call back from Robby, 4 days later. A new radiator was put in our car. This cost us an additional $530.00. We feel that the service we received on Friday led to the problem over last weekend. Mr. Tuttle, I tell you all this because I think you should know the whole story. We have been good customers for sixteen years. Is it a "coincidence" that this radiator incident happened two days after our maintenance was done? Robby would not listen to us, or entertain the possibility that the two incidents were related. Couldn't it be possible that the coolant was flushed and, not to anyone's fault, not refilled? I believe that these things happen. If that is the case I believe that as a good customer you should offer us some form of compensation for that added expense of a new radiator. I actually started my morning purchasing a 2018 Chevy Cruze LS from a Chevy dealership in Post Falls. They got me in with one number for my interest rate (15%) and one for payment which changed of course when I got there not for the good side (18%) Telling me I could come back in a year and refinance or trade in possibly with them. Needing out of the Jeep I owned with challenged credit I signed for it with them saying I wouldn't find a better interest lower payment. My phone was in my purse and the finance manager Alejo at George Gee was able to find me a 2018 Buick Encore. I had worked with Alejo previously when he was a salesman at another lot and the only thing that stopped me purchasing with him before were payments were just too high. I drove the Cruz to George Gee because he said he had 8% interests and my payment was lower on the midline Encore than the basic Cruz. The numbers were the same when I got there. I was getting more car for 2k more all said and 10% less financing with GM financial. Literally the paperwork was done for me when I got there, the thing that took the longest was driving back to Post Falls to drop off the Cruz, get my jeep and get back. They also gave me $1800 more for my trade in than the other dealership. I went in knowing my credit score would be a challenge and my payment would be higher but I NEVER thought I'd see below 12% where I was at. I'm still in shock that I'm in a vehicle I wanted and not just what I could get and every mile on it is mine. I'm happy to be George Gee customer and wouldn't go anywhere else because I just don't trust anyone else. read more

We went back to Gee after buying a truck there a couple years ago. Our needs had changed, so we traded it off for a smaller GMC Canyon. We went to Kyle after working with him before, and we were not dissapointed, things went like clockwork. Doing research ahead of time helps, but talking to people about what you're looking for in a vehicle, and sales staff knowing what is available is key. Kyle pointed us in the right direction, and a couple of test drives later our minds were made up. A nice rebate didn't hurt things either, and the finance crew was right on top of things. (Thanks everybody!) My advice is: be realistic about your needs and your budget, take the time to research what is out there, talk to people about what they bought, and make informed decisions. The sales staff can help, but do the reading and find out what the pros and cons are for the vehicles you are considering, then have several in mind when you are ready to buy. It makes it easier to find something, and makes it less stressful. Calling and asking questions doesn't hurt, either, and be aware of possible bargains during certain times of the year. Beautiful place, great waiting room, nice people. However... I have taken two cars in for service and neither one was repaired. The first last year, my Hummer would occasionally just not start. They were unable to find a problem (it did it when I tried to leave the dealership, and they still couldn't figure it out). The second was just today, my Chevy makes a bad noise on startup - after 3 days they are clueless as to the cause. Another mechanic says it's a warranty timing chain issue, but Gee says it's not (I suspect because it's a warranty repair they might not want to bother). I'm not terribly impressed with the competency level at this dealership. It is a really nice place though. read more

I know this is really late but just found out about Yelp.. I purchased a used 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD with 144K on it. in Sept of 2013. When I first went on a test trive the ck engine light was on and the salesman told me it was due to a aftermarket part (air intake). We decided to buy the truck because it was a good deal. After further inspection at a shop I was told there was no aftermarket part but a bad mass air flow sensor and vacuum which causes the egr to set a code. I also found a rear axle seal leaking BAD. I called them back and then said they weren't going to fix anything. After taking them to court I found out they knew about all these problems and never said anything.. One other thing was when I purchased the truck it had a certified sticker in the window saying it had a warranty and it was inspected by their techs.. My wife and I decided to lease (with the option to buy) on a 2017 KIA Sportage EX AWD. We met our KIA sales representative (Alena Sosa) at the Spokane Auto Show the week earlier and contacted her for a test drive on the Kia Sportage at George Gee in Liberty Lake. The moment we arrived, Alena was prepared and ready for our business. She and the rest of the Sales Staff at George Gee KIA made us feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed, while she warmed-up and prepared our test drive car on this cold, rainy day. The test drive went well and Alena was very knowledgeable about all the features and functions of the vehicle (she obviously did her homework as a sales person). We wanted to compare different trim levels and packages of the Sportage next to each other. Without hesitation, Alena was willing to accommodate our request. We eventually decided on the vehicle we originally test drove. Now comes the tough, and often stressful part..."the negotiation process". This is where our young Sales lady shined. After some back and forth, and several rounds of head-scratching over numbers, monthly payment amounts and down-payments.....We came to a very reasonable agreement that was within our budget. I felt very good about the deal, especially for a $31,000 vehicle with many high-end options. Since my wife and our teenage daughters were getting really hungry (including myself)....Alena and her manager offered to buy us lunch and have it delivered while we waited for the Financing process. I've purchased many new cars in my life, and I've never encountered a Dealership that went to the extent of buying their customers a meal, while they wait, in order to make them feel comfortable and happy. To me, that says a lot about their service. Even after the deal was made, Alena never slowed down. She personally took our lunch order and went and got it while we waited for Insurance and Financing. Then she got the car ready for delivery, and checked back with us often to make sure everything was going smoothly. For such a young Sales person, she was very professional, calm and appeared as if she had been doing this for years ! Excellent job, Alena. I'm a retired Army Officer, and tend to have a low tolerance for incompetence and things that are annoying. So, a 5-Star Rating is a huge compliment from me. Also, during the delivery and walk-through of the vehicle, her knowledge on the workings of the "infotainment" system was awesome. We are extremely happy with our new 2017 KIA Sportage from George Gee. Great buying experience and friendly Sales Staff. The Service Dept. facility and waiting lounge area is great. Espresso Bar with food and snacks, WiFi and computer hookups, big TVs, comfortable chairs and sofas, play area for the kids, and clean restrooms. Don't step foot in here unless you're willing to buy a brand new vehicle with cash. And don't bother haggling unless you'd like to get a sob-story from the salesperson on how little money they would make from your sale. You shouldn't care about that anyway. If you buy used, demand service records for any work performed in the dealership. They will not only lie about work performed, but try to justify overpricing a vehicle with the dealer's cost of repair. Why they think anyone would care about their bottom line is beyond me. Don't do your financing here, and for heaven's sake, get an insurance broker. They will try to sell you insurance on the spot if you make a purchase - once they've confirmed your current coverage is sufficient for your vehicle (if necessary), get up and walk away. Go buy insurance from Allstate if it's cheaper, just don't do it in the dealership. If you buy the car outright, you have no reason to visit their Allstate agent. They definitely did a better job of feigning a customer-centric attitude than most dealers, just don't let it fool you. They are still out to make the most money possible and will say anything to do just that. I feel like they thought they could get away with it because that's the status quo for salespeople now, but quite frankly, it's completely unnecessary these days. Bottom line - avoid this place at all costs. I felt so dirty after my experience I had to shower when I got home. read more
