Broken door: armrest $250.00

Long but necessary. Dale at George Gee liberty lake this ones for you... I have a long history with Dale and George Gee liberty lake. I want to share with you how a 5 star expirience has dwindled over the years to the point I am at right now wanting me to leave them a 1 star review. 2019 In the fall I began to notice my brakes felt really choppy. I figured time for new brakes so I will take it over to George Gee. When I picked the vehicle up they told me they were able to refinish the rotars and replced the pads. The next day I take the H2 out and instantly that same choppy feeling in the brakes. I decide just to drive back to George Gee to talk to them. I express my concern now that the rotars were refinished and maybe that was not the best idea on such a heavy vehicle with high miles. Instantly I am met with hostility and told that I do not know how many miles are on my own vehicle. I am then told I can take the vehicle anywhere else I want. I am aware of that, however I continue to bring my vehicle back to Dale at George Gee because I thought we had established a relationship of integrity and trust. End of 2019 low coolant pops up on the dash. A couple days later, service air suspension comes on. Not again =/. This was the last straw for the air suspension. I now had my mind set to swap it back to springs. After some hesitation about wether or not to go back to George Gee, I decided to give them another chance. I told Dale take the entire air suspension system out of the vehicle and put it in the back so maybe I could sell the parts of use it again one day. At the same time I had them fix the coolant leak which they said was the water pump. We like to research at home and see how much parts cost and what a job usually entails. After noticing a huge desparity between parts and labor pricing we asked Dale. He explained that they are a business and need to make money. Understandable, like I said I would rather pay more for a job done right, so I accepted the amount that more than doubled the prices I could buy the parts at. $1200 later. I pay and go to get in my car. The first thing I notice is my door panel is just hovering on the door. I grab it and it just falls off in my hand. On the underside is a ton of white glue! Instantly I go grab Dale to inspect the door. He looks at it says, "I can't belive my guy would do this and try to hide it from me. I will take care of this. It may not be the way the manufacturer would do it but let me see if I can find the part first. I will be in touch." I was so happy to get my car back but now so disappointed that something else had been broken. When I got home I opened the back of the car to see the suspension system but it was not there... I bent down and the compressor unit and all the lines were still attached underneath the Hummer!! I called Dale to express this was not what we had talked about and not what I had agreed to. He was trying to do me a favor by leaving the unit attached to keep the service air suspension indicator from coming on. I expressed to him that I wanted everything out and there was another way to bypass the code. I appreciate that he was trying to do me a favor but I do not like having things done that I do not agree to. The conversation ended with him saying he would look into fixing the door and they would take the rest of the air suspension out when I came into get the door fixed. THAT CONVERSATION WAS 4 MONTHS AGO. Dale or anyone from George Gee has NEVER called me back about my property that they damaged. If I had not paid for my mechanic work that I had done they would put a mechanic's lean on my vehicle. Dale I hope you read this. I want you to know that I trusted you. I trusted your word when you told me it would get done. When you told me you would take care of it. This last encounter you lost all credibility in my book. You are lucky to be in a position of power. In a position where you get to lead by example and hold other people accountable. To many times have I taken my property somewhere to have it treated like dirt. I thought you guys were different. I thought I found a place with honest business men that treat their customers with respect and integrity. You still can Dale. You can still be better. Use this as a lesson for you and the men you work with. Be their open door so they can come to you when they break something. Then you must be direct with the customer and let them know what happened. If I felt that you had made an effort to reconcile this in any way, I would not be leaving this review. I do not want you to fix my door now. I will be fixing the door on my own. You will NEVER touch my vehicles again. What I do want from this is for you men at George Gee to be better. Be honest and fair. I was fair with you paying full price but ask yourself were you fair to me, your loyal customer??

My new truck. It's my second vehicle purchased through this dealership. They now have a long time customer.

The character of the general manager was less than ethical, and as a result I do nit recommend this business's performance .

Not only did they not properly do the oil change as I immediately saw an oil maintenance required…read morenotification AFTER I got the car back from them, because they are clearly too incompetent to know how to reset the reminder in my car, but they also managed to damaged my wheel lock key. See the photo. Also, after my service was done, they told me after their driver gets back they still wouldn't be able to come pick me up (I live 2 minutes away) because they had to go get someone else. They were unwilling to take a 2 minute detour for a customer whose service was completed because their other customer mattered more I guess. And so I just walked there to pick up my car and I noticed that when the driver did get back, he didn't go anywhere for over 20 minutes, so I guess they just didn't want a brown guy sitting in their car. I went to them to give them an opportunity to take accountability and apologize for damaging my property, but they were incredibly rude and disrespectful to me even though I was willing to move on had they taken accountability and apologized for the property damage they caused. However, they lack the integrity and honesty to do just that and so I feel it is important to let everyone in my community know just what kind of disrespectful and dishonest people these guys are. Oh and their prices are just scams, there's much better service for more affordable prices in the valley, but that's irrelevant to my dissatisfaction.
