I needed an oil change and called a few places. I decided to go to Grease Monkey. I brought my own filter and oil, which knocked off about $20 of the price. The wait wasn't bad at all, I was there for about an hour. There are 2 car ports, so 2 cars getting worked on at a time. There is a coffee machine in the office. I had a female mechanic who was knowledgable and friendly. The mechanic gave me a breakdown of my car, checking things besides the oil. The mechanic recommended various treatments, based on importance. The recommendations were based on pH levels of different fluids. I decided to do a brake flush and 3step fuel system cleaning, additional to oil change. The mechanic informed me that my air intake hose was cracked. She recommended Intake Sales and Services to replace my intake hose. The total was $260, with a $15 off coupon. I'd come back to Grease Monkey, friendly and knowledgable staff. read more

Grease monkey has become my regular go-to oil change place. The guys there always take good care of me. I went this week and they vacuumed my car out for me, and they always check and fill the air in my tires. I'd recommend them to anybody read more

What a great service experience! Had several things done to my F-150. I was traveling thru from Kansas City. Pricing was great for what I had done. They even offered a military discount! Highly recommend this team! read more

The service was awesome. Came here to get my oil changed and they honestly told me I didn't need it based on my oil. They didn't try to make money off me and told me I can come back when I get more miles on this oil. The service requested was reliable and honest. Appreciate their values. read more

Gave me the most expensive oil even tho it wasn't needed without asking me first and I had to pay $150 in the end and told me it would be $300 just to recharge my AC. i don't know much about cars but I've NEVER paid that much getting an oil change for this car and everyone I've talked to says thats way too much regardless. I have a 2017 so luckily was easy to recharge it myself for less than $100 but jesus. I definitely won't be back. read more

Grease Monkey - Outside sign - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Airway Heights, Washington

Went this morning to get a basic oil change at Grease Monkey in Airway Heights. They wanted to charge me $150 for a small Kia. This price didn't include any extras. I then went to Spokane found another business I paid $47 with military discount, had great customers service and they had me out in 15 minutes. Be careful where you go ladies. read more

Extremely overpriced $150.00 Service is poor didn't even bother to wash windows or vacuum. I can't prove it but it is my belief they did not do any of the other service checks they checked off. One employee was misstating the benefits of synthetic vs conventional oil . Employees vehicle in parked front of main door and weeds 2ft high. Will never return. read more

Excellent service recieved! So I went in for an oil change last week. Went through what all I wanted done, that was great. They pulled my car in and went to work. The tech came in a few minutes later and told me that whomever had changed the oil the time before (Toyota dealer in Lewiston) had really overtighted the filter cannister and he wasn't sure he was going to be able to get it off without breaking it. I asked him if he'd pulled the drain plug yet, and he had not. We then agreed that it would be best for me to take it back to the Toyota dealer and have them deal with it, which I did (and they replaced parts) and they found that it had been very overtightened. I tried to offer the Grease Monkey dude something for his time, professionalism (for knowing not to put too much torque on the thing and break it), and honesty, and he said he didn't want anything other than a positive online review. Well here it is dude! Thank you, I'll be back! read more

What a great experience I had yesterday at the grease monkey in airway Heights, the staff was friendly and polite (you know this is hard to come by these days ).This is my first time visiting this business. However, I will return. also, they vacuumed my car and wash the windows. What a great, little surprise as I was leaving. read more

These guys are awesome, pulled in with a question and they helped us out big time. Would highly recommend this place for tune ups and oil change. Thank you so very much happy customer here. read more

Grease Monkey - Grease monkey auto shop - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Airway Heights, Washington

If I could give a zero I would. Went for an oil change a few days ago. We arrived at 4:30 pm there was one car in a bay being worked on. We were greeted and told it would be 45 minutes before we could get our oil change done. Then we were told that the gentleman talking to us he was sending his team home at 5 and it would be only him there. He told us we should come back tomorrow. We really needed our oil change done because we were overdue. We left drove into Spokane and went to a competitor. Afterwards we drove back out to Airway Heights to our favorite restaurant Ginger Teriyaki and Thai for dinner. We arrived at there at 5:40. Right across the street is Grease Monkey and to our surprise they were closed even though hours of operation say open until 6. We have been coming to this location for years but on this occasion left feeling blown off. I guess our future oil changes will be somewhere else. read more

This is close to my place but learned the hard way that they don't do things right. They put red grease around the filter cup of my 4 runner. The grease dried from the heat of the engine and caused it not come off. The next place that changed the oil had to use a 3foot breaker bar to get it off which broke the filter cup! Once the cup was off they found red grease inside the filter cup as well! This could have got up inside my engine and cause catastrophic damage! I will never use this company again! This type of thing is unacceptable! read more

I went for an oil change and 10 minutes later I came with a broken car!!! Wtf?? My power steering pump did not work after I came from that shop!! That's is just too much coincidence!! I drove a few blocks them I have to stop because of the noise and my power steering fluid was coming out all over the place. I drove back to talk to them just to be told that they have nothing to do with that and that I need to replace my pump. No fucking way genius! This fucking place sucks and I am 100% sure that some how they messed up my power steering pump. It can just broke without any symptoms or anything. Worse service and place ever! read more

Tried to get me to pay 110 for oil change, didn't even post a mileage on oil change sticker...

All they do is smoke weed in the shop and up sell you.. you'll never leave there without spending at least 100$ for a simple oil change. On top of that they break stuff all the time and don't even tell you about it, and when you call them and ask if them if they can fix it jon the manager will tell you don't come back read more

Don't mind my dirty dashboard...after they serviced my car, I got in to leave and found this flower . Fast, friendly, informative and NO PRESSURE for extra services. I will be coming back for all my future car needs. Being new to the area, I'm hesitant to try anything new...I read reviews, but sometimes people only write when upset/bitter. I'll ask around even if the reviews are good too. I went into a nail salon for my daughter earlier today...asked the nail tech (Christy) did she have any recommendations for oil change places (she's a fellow Californian, found that out just talking to her upon meeting her 1st time today too) she said she takes her car to dealership for oil change...but she has tried Grease Monkey and they are good...on top of reading reviews (I read them last week), I was more comfortable coming here and I'm glad I did. 5 stars for customer service, flower on dash was a bonus, it made me smile so kudos to you guys! I'll update if anything is amiss with what I actually came in for lol (oil change, then I decided to let them service my transmission as well...since I already knew it needed it). read more

Grease Monkey - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Airway Heights, Washington

Garbage. They charged me $101 and didn't bother to put my splash shield back on all the way. Destroyed itself under my car on the freeway due to their laziness. Don't take your car here. Go somewhere else for half the cost that might actually care about the safety of their customers. Destroyed the wiring under my car and will likely cost me hundreds of dollars. read more

First of all, better hope they don't break anything while they are changing your oil, because they won't own up to it. Then when it is obvious that the damage was their fault, you'll be lucky to get reimbursed for the part, but you will NOT be repaid for: towning, labor, time off due to no transportation or Lyft rides to and from work or to pick up your car from the shop. Manager Mark will not make it "right". No calls back, no answered emails, no more business from me or anyone I can tell my story to! Poor business practices. read more

Went to grease monkey for an oil change and they put the wrong oil in and said it would be fine. Also apparently they didn't put my oil filter on all the way causing oil to go everywhere, including my air filter and the ground. My car now makes a knocking noise. Went to jiffy lube and they fixed all of this nonsense. Too bad the damage to my car is done. read more

At first when I pulled up to this place I expected the usual treatment I get from most quick stop shops, "what do you want" " this is the price" "It's done get out" but instead I was greeted with a crew of friendly individuals, ages ranging all happy and ready to help! This place is amazing and after I established I wanted an oil change they not only changed my oil but they checked my tire pressure, my air filet and various other things it caught me off guard thinking they were either trying to up sell me on another service or charging me extra but it turns out these are what they call "niceties" which is something I'm not accustomed to in other shops. This is an amazing place and I highly recommend them to anyone needing some simple work done read more

Simply amazing! We started out by calling them to see if they could help us with our headlight. Right away they gave us several possibilities of what the problem could be but that they would be more willing to take a look themselves. We brought our car in and they took it right away and fixed our problem within 10 minutes. The whole time they were polite, courteous and straightforward with us. I like their operation and will be taking my car here from now on. Although my problem might be simple, I also witnessed another customer be in and out with her car as well. Seems to be a go-to for others! read more

Quick service. They tell you what they did and they don't try to up sell you anything. Cleaned my car good as well.

From the minute I walked into the Grease Monkey in Airway Heights, WA, I was welcomed and informed. The place was clean and the service was top notch! The best part was that my window washer sprayers were not working at all. I had taken my truck to a different mechanic who quoted me 200.00 to fix the problem. The technician at Grease Monkey found the problem, fixed it in ten minutes and charged me 20.00! You can bet I will be going there from now on. Thank you for your great service and attention to detail as well as for not making me feel dumb about what was wrong with my truck! read more

They forget to put drain plugs back into your car causing the engine to blow up. Half the time the manager Jon sells you things that you don't need and then doesn't do it correctly and he is extremely pushy about it. The manager is never there, he will show up for a couple hours a day and then will go home. When you have an issue the manager essentially tells you too bad and to not come back. The prices for an oil change are so inflated i would rather take my car to the dealership where at least i know it will get done correctly and if not the warranty is honored. I would never recommend anyone go to this company to have their car worked on. You will pay the price of 3 oil changes and the manager doesn't even know what he is doing or talking about if he's even there. With the amount the manager calls women honey, sweety, and babe I'm surprised he hasn't had a sexual harassment suit filed against him. While a quick oil change is nice 2 minutes isn't even long enough to put on a new oil filter correctly. Either do it yourself or go somewhere you know is going to actually treat you well cause this is not the place! read more

Im glad other people like them but for me it was a lil diff very exspensive. 115 something was my total. And whem i went to have a nother oil change i noticed they had put the wrong filter size on my car. No problems when it was jj lube but now its not to good . Glad they can do everybody else right i moved on to better. Which is myself read more

I can't tell you the last time I have taken my vehicle in for an oil change. I always prefer to do them myself. Grease Monkey may have changed that for me. Excellent customer service, honest, and walked me through some minor issues that they found with my vehicle with no pressure to have them perform the service. Thanks, Grease Monkey. read more

This is THE BEST place in all of eastern Washington to go get your oil changed, fluids filled or checked, parts replaced or fixed.. Took my daughter's car in for an oil change, after the car had been pulled in to the service bay, a few moments later the technician came in & told me it didn't need an oil change for another 90 days. They checked all the other fluid levels, tire pressure, washed the windows, checked the brakes etc. at no charge. AND put a cut flower on the dashboard for me. I nearly cried at having such a good experience after having been taken so many times including recently finding out that not once but twice different repair shops charged me full parts & labor for power window repairs - that they did not do (they rigged existing mechanism to continue working without replacing). LOVE this place - will definitely go back & recommend to others. THANK YOU for being honest & so pleasant to deal with!! read more

Great service! Friendly place. They took care of my car and replaced the fuel filter. They did not sell me anything I did not need. The place is cleaner than some restaurants in Airway! Flint is the manager and I trust him. read more
