Four of us go out for dinner and Casino one Saturday per month. We alternate choosing the restaurant. After visiting most if not all of Liberty Kitchens' peer restaurants on the West Shore, we rated the restaurant near 5 stars. We recognize that lunch service differs from dinner service, and that a week-day or weekend has a bearing on the overall experience. No menu can be everything to everybody. We all found menu items worthy of ordering, and we also enjoyed them. The kitchen (which was in view) appeared to be operating quietly and efficiently. Not all staff are created equal. We found the staff to be pleasant and courteous. Ambiance: The high open ceiling provides a spacious feel but also a backboard for sound. I don't know if patrons were shouting above the music, or the music was set to be heard above the conversations. (Acoustics need some work.) Lighting was appropriate. So 4/5 for ambience as speaking across the table was a challenge. Unfortunately the wait-list app returned an error. My partner and I had a kids free night and came down from cobble hill to have dinner. I had been to liberty kitchen once a few days after their opening in Langford and it was delicious with great service, so I thought why not go back and check things out after almost a year of them being open. It was GREAT. Our server Georgia did amazing, she was friendly, her customer service was great. drinks came quick and were delicious. i had the Golden Sour and would 10/10 recommend. we ordered a bunch of plates to share, and we weren't disappointed. we got Georgia to pick our pizza for us since we couldn't decide ourselves. My husband and I don't eat out often, but love to support local businesses so we stay close to home when we pick a restaurant. This one is our new favourite by a mile. We ordered beer on tap, house pizza and the crispy cauliflower appy. Stunning presentation, incredible service but the flavour - OMG. Fresh, inventive, delicious. It was crazy busy and a bit noisy - but sitting by the window, watching the cars go by in the rain with the heat lamps warming us gave us such a wonderful romantic and fun supper out while Christmas shopping. First time at this restaurant, from the moment we walked in to the time we left was a 10/10 Experience. The place was busy but we got seated right away. Our server Tamara was amazing, as soon as we sat down she was their to tell us about the happy hour. We ordered drinks and food right away. Got the spiked watermelon soda to drink and the truffle cream and spaghetti meatballs, perfect portion amount and wasn't to dry or to saucy. Had a big team dinner and drinks at Liberty Kitchen and it was great! Allegra recommended we sit on the patio and she was absolutely right. With her big smile, friendly questions and knowledge of the restaurant she knew exactly what we wanted. The servers (Carly, Celina and Liam) were quick, super nice and very accommodating. This was my first time here and it didn't disappoint! We had a fantastic experience at Liberty Kitchen! The warm greeting from the host set the tone, and we enjoyed the cozy booth. The extensive pizza menu, including delicious plant-based options, caught our eye. The fried cauliflower with ranch and the margarita pizza were incredibly tasty. Our Son bought us a gift card for this restaurant, I was reluctant about the menu, there just wasn't much on it that We eat, but We came in to use up the card value. We bother ordered the chicken burger from a very nice Waitress, service was quick and friendly, and the chicken burgers were to die for! I would come back here for their chicken burgers any day!, My only complaint was that the music was too loud and it was really noisy, it gave Me a headache. read more
