When I came by on Thursday, only one shirt was ready. I came by on Saturday to pick up the shirt for an event, and the lady behind the counter said it was nowhere to be found. After several excruciating hours, I discovered they applied the wrong number to the shirt and gave the silk cashmere shirt to another customer. The owner apologized and assured me they would contact the customer and have the shirt delivered personnally to my apartment. That never occurred. Instead, I had to follow up and make another trek over to the dry cleaners to pick up the silk cashmere shirt that had been worn by another customer. To top everything off, the lady behind the counter (Mantouka) demanded I pay in full, as though nothing had happened. I then requested a 25 percent discount on my next dry cleaning, which I was assured would be fulfilled. When I dropped off my next round of dry cleaning and invoked the discount, I was told by Mantouka no discount was possible. She claimed she spoke to the owner. When I requested to speak to the owner, she claimed he was out of the country and unreachable. That lie fell apart when I inquired further, and she admitted to having his contact information but would not give it to me. These people are unprofessional liars. Their workmanship is shoddy (I received several pieces of "dry cleaning" that still had stains) and they are not worthy of the public's trust. Any self-respecting institution would have given a customer compensation after such a blatant display of incompetence as giving dry cleaning to another customer.

My own experience has been very positive. The place is clean, the employees are helpful, and I feel safe there. I go on weekday mornings, and there are always plenty of machines available. The other patrons are pleasant, and I've had good interactions with them. Prices seem reasonable, but I haven't compared them with other places. One bonus is that drying is free if you use their washers (on the same day). Paying is convenient; you get a card that you use in the machines, and can replenish funds as needed. If you overshoot the $ you put on the card, you just use the $ the next time.
