I renovated my kitchen a few years ago. I wanted a lighted corner cabinet for display. I had my electrician install a 2" puck LED in the top of the cabinet. The cabinet company only had 3/4" finished panels for shelves. I took the wooden shelves to Laurel Glass and had them cut 2, 1/4" glass shelves to replace the OEM shelves. The glass shelves fit perfectly and the cabinet looks better than they did in the showroom. Laurel Glass is my "go to" company for anything glass related. I have previously had them install a beautiful frameless shower door and replace cloudy insulated glass windows in my bow window. I explained by situation to Frank and he said his men were in the area and would stop by to have a look. W/in 2 hours his men stopped by. Billy was able to give me an estimate at that time and w/in 24 hours LGM emailed me a contact. I emailed the signed contact to Mary on Sunday. When I did not hear back by Tuesday I called the office and Frank explained that Mary was not in the office. He said he would look in the matter and get back with me. W/in the hour Frank called back and w/in 2 hours the crew was at my house to pick up my frame. Sure, I made a few calls but my concern was addressed immediately. The following day I went into the store place my order only to find out the quote was lower than it should have been. The service rep immediately said they would honor the quote!! I showed her my measurements. She noted that the measurements could not be correct and offered to have a technician come to my house to take the measurements to ensure the mirrors were cut to the right size. I have used this service for years. Until now, didn't have any issues. However the current installers which came to my house to install a shower door were unacceptable! They slammed the my bathroom door in my face when I wanted to ask them a question. They brought in dirt from outside, didn't even whipe their shoes. When I did finally was able to ask them a question, they stated I "insulted" them, and they left. Used to be a great company to work with, but I'm not sure what happened with their current employees. We had the weirdest experience with Laurel Glass and Mirror. We asked for an estimate to replace some windows in our house. They scheduled a visit and the person arrived as expected. He measured the windows and said to expect an estimate via email in a few days. After a week we replied back to the original email message they sent to setup the estimate. No reply. Then a week later we called and were told an estimate would be sent. Still nothing. After another few days we gave up and started from scratch with a different company. We lost 3 weeks waiting on them. The second company did the work without any issue. It has been over a month now and still nothing from Laurel Glass and Mirror. read more

Recently, I visited LG&M to have a mirrored wall hanging repaired. First, the man (I didn't catch his name) insulted my wall hanging. Second, he wasn't wearing a face mask even though all their customers were. When I asked him about his mask, he tried to act like he didn't hear or understand me and then started repeating me, in a mocking sorta-way. The man was very rude and obnoxious!! Lastly, his behavior towards me was so unacceptable I couldn't help but think he was being racist. I strongly discourage patronage of this business - my service was deplorable!! I had a small project - a 5'x2.5 mirror for residential. They were attentive, quick and very reasonably priced! I had originally ordered the mirror from Lowe's and it was supposed to take 2 weeks. It was somehow delayed and was going to take and additional 4-6 weeks. The manager at Lowe's recommended Laurel Glass & Mirror. They were less expensive and turned it around within the week! Unfortunately, I chipped the corner during install. I returned the mirror to LG&M and they cut it down while I waited. I don't want to say what exactly, but the charge was ridiculously low! This place USE TO BE ok. Now they are into bigger jobs I guess and don't care about the neighborhood walk in folks, they charge 3 times as much as the local hardware stores and the lady at the front desk is not friendly in any way. If you go there try to deal with the nice lady that is at the desk to the right. The owner that pops out of the rear office at times is just as miserable as the lady at the front, they don't great you and have faces similar to the shop bulldog that is in there. My glass table top broke 2 weeks before Christmas. The base is marble. There it sat in our family room. Kendall Hardware in Clarksville recommended we take the broken piece to Laurel Glass and Mirror, and as we entered we were approached by Mary. She is gracious, accommodating and very efficient. I waited weeks for the product to be installed, only to find when they finally brought it out that they had measured the door opening wrong! So, I had to wait another several weeks to get the correct shower door installed! Worst thing is, they didn't apologize for their error!
