I took the day off work for the future appointment we made. Waited. Waited. Waited. No show, no call. When I called her, she gave the ol' "I forgot" because " something happened" followed by an "oh well". No apology, no offer for another appointment. No future follow-up call. Very unprofessional. Things happen in life, I understand that. But be courteous of other's time and give a call, apologize, and offer to help in the future. But it was made clear in the previous conversation that she doesn't "need" the work. There was no concern that I needed the work done and that I took the day off my job to meet her here.
