Finally this store has cleaned up it's act! You can now see the clothing, the store is merchandised in stories and the staff is amazing! I have not been in the store for five years because it always gave me anxiety and I touched one thing and 5000 things fell with it and nothing was ever sized or organized and the staff was horrible. They still have not fixed the return policy which is an issue but other than that it's nice to see someone finally taking some merchandising direction. read more

We have been LF customers for years. I used to look forward to their seasonal only sale where everything was at %60 off. But for some reason the joy of shopping at these sales are gone. I saw it in the Boston store and then here, a huge mess of clothing pilled in the most disorderly manner every where. I feel very bad for the owner of these clothing shops, they are paying employees good money, the clothing has cost then top dollars and it has come all the way across the ocean, to be displayed in such a mess? Not good at all. With all that said, these employees are polite and helpful. If some one has the patience to go through this mess, there are some great items. read more

SOOOOooo overpriced, it's criminal. Essentially they offer Forever 21 merchandise, but charge 10x. And the store is a sloppy mess. One more thing, I bought my daughter a $210 dress there (would have been $38 elsewhere), and it was very wrinkled. I asked the sales associate if she could steam it for me. No way. They don't have a steamer. So after paying a premium, I got to bring home the brand-new wrinkled dress. Awful. Any of the higher-end shops in Natick would have had the dressed pressed, and sold it to me in a hanging bag. I am NEVER going back to LF. No way. It's all made in China stuff. read more

I created a Yelp account with the sole purpose of letting the public know NOT to shop here. I am not referring to LF in general, but rather this specific location. Details to follow.... I have shopped/browsed this location since it's opening years ago. Over the past year there has been a staff turnover for the worse, not the better. Now, going in there is like invading the Weston Women's Bridge Club - boring, hostile, and you can tell you're not wanted (unless of course you are waving a Birkin in the air). Some of the girls are pleasant enough, offering a quick hello and friendly smile. Ok so you're not outgoing, that's fine with me. What I really have a problem with is the woman in charge. I believe her name is Alicia or Alyssa - but she is the store manager. Aside from her general lack of style and personality, I have a serious issue with how she conducts herself in the store and in front of customers, specifically when referring to her staff, and other locations in the company. I've never been in when she is not screaming at one of her sales associates, or on the phone screaming at God-knows-who. The last time I went in, I was immediately greeting by her yelling "Fine! No one F*ing cares, than I don't F*ing care either" No clue what she was talking about, but her voice could have very likely been heard down the street. I've also been in on her more "pleasant" days and have made small talk with her. She seemed interested to know if I had shopped at LF before, so I told her I had been in to the Boston location. She paused, and asked, "wait, Newbury Street or Harvard Square". I told her mostly Newbury, because I liked the city vibe. (I've actually shopped at Harvard too, very very nice ladies over there!). She looked me dead in the eye and said "eeeew don't ever go to Newbury again. They are dirty and don't know what they're doing." I stood there feeling very uncomfortable and not saying much except that the girl who had styled me (and I didn't even purchase anything) was patient and put together some amazing looks. The manager shot back, "well, the store manager's a f*cking bitch". Uh excuse me? Who swears at their customers? Or talks about other stores in their company like that? I have no idea if this other manager is wonderful or awful - but I will say her staff is so good that I would assume she is not the latter. And regardless, I studied public relations in college and NO company wants stuff like that being said, one location to another. Interestingly enough, I shared this story with a few of my friends who are big spenders at Wellesley and they had all heard the same thing from this manager. One even being told if she shopped at Newbury they wouldn't be helped when they came back to Wellesley. Huh? Now that sounds like good business. Bottom line, I have enjoyed myself in every LF store I have visited (Newbury, Harvard Square, NYC and one in Santa Monica while on vacation). I would encourage you to shop at any of their locations, but this one I would avoid like the plaque. read more

I went to the Lf in Wellesley today for their only sale of the season. I've been to many other LFs but not this one so I wasn't sure what to expect. The store was a big mess but it was pretty spacious inside. Be aware that if you're coming here for the sale you have to put your name on a long list for the fitting room. The employees here were a lot nicer than the ones in Boston. Not once did they try to push anything at me but they did offer help to find something in the mess. This store is definitely worth checking out during the sale. read more

This is the single worst retail experience I have ever seen. I've been there a couple of times with my teenage daughter, and each time has been absolute torture. The staff are complete morons, and the operation is run like a temporary store set up in a third world country. I made the mistake of taking my daughter there on Sunday, 2/10/13 for their sale. The place was absolutely packed, and they had exactly 2 dressing rooms and 1 working cash register. Meanwhile, 6 or 7 staff members were just wandering around the store looking lost. The place was complete chaos, with all of the merchandise thrown in piles. I left the store twice to do other errands and came back to find the place in even worst shape than when I left. After leaving for 40 minutes, my daughter still hadn't gotten off the "wait list" for a dressing room. After trying on a couple of sweaters and deciding she wanted to buy one, she started to wait in the 20+ person line with the one, stoned-looking cashier. Thirty minutes later (no kidding), there were still 10 people ahead of her. Meanwhile, the brain dead salesperson/manager that's always there (wearing clothes that are actually for sale and have tags on them) was breezing around in the line asking, "Is everyone having fun?" We both finally got so frustrated (and had to be somewhere else) that we just dropped the sweater on one of the piles and walked out. I can't believe how this place is in business. I've never been so furious in a retail environment, ever. Oh, yeah, and I'm a man in a family with 3 women, so I've seen it all and been bored to death over and over again. This place is on a whole other level of incompetence. If hell had a clothing store for teenage girls and aging cougars trying to recapture the youth that had long abandoned them, this would be it. read more

I went into LF just expecting to try on some clothes and see if there was anything that I liked. Right as I walked into the store, the sales associate confronted my friend and me and she was extremely friendly at first. She asked us about where we went to school and told us about some of the new merchandise. She then began to continue to show us more clothing and after holding a piece up, she would hand it to us and expect us to try it on. After the first few minutes, I was fine with it. We continued to walk around and shop but every few seconds the sales associate would confront us and bring us over to look at merchandise that neither of us was interested in. After 10 minutes of trying to peacefully browse the store, our arms were filled with clothing we didn't even want to try on but felt obligated to because of the employees. When it came time to try on everything, they stood right outside our dressing room doors and pressured us to show them everything. Even if we said we didn't love something as a way to not buy it, the employees pressured us into trying more and more ugly clothes on and made us extremely uncomfortable. When we both decided not to buy anything, the employees were rude and dismissive of us, and this further made my friend and I uncomfortable. All in all, if you're looking for a peaceful shopping experience, DO NOT come here because the employees are extremely rude and ruin the relaxation of shopping! read more

Yes, the store gets pretty crazy during their end of season sales but that's to be expected when entitled customers are digging through mounds of clothing and just throwing PILES of stuff about. They don't have enough fitting rooms, though no LF I've ever been to does. I've had AMAZING customer service from the stylists, though the managers aren't very good. read more
