I hadn't been here in years so when I ended up here randomly on a Friday night I was super excited. We asked if we can dine in and they quickly cleared a table for us. Didn't take us long before deciding what we wanted! I ordered the Arroz con Pollo which is Green Rice with Chicken that came with Papa la Huancaina. AMAZING!! Chicken was juicy, rice was flavorful and the sauce on the potatoes had a great creamy consistency. The guys ordered steak which was also a great portion and cooked to their liking. We also good chicken chaufa which was spot on! I know there had been talks about the food being different over the years but after my experience, I would say they are still pretty spot on and would definitely go again. And they offer take out!

This is now the third time in a row that I've been charged hidden or unauthorized fees on my bill…read more What made this even more concerning is that they didn't provide me with an itemized breakdown of my bill. It was only after I asked to see the receipt and questioned the total that I discovered they had added extra charges. Every time I've confronted them, they've refunded the money--but only after I caught it myself. The most recent visit was the worst. We were a party of two, yet they automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill without making it clear. Then, on top of that, they asked me to leave the tip in cash, without mentioning that a 20% tip had already been added. That's extremely misleading. As for the food, it's very basic and nothing worth going out of your way for. At this point, after three separate incidents, it's hard to believe these are just mistakes. I strongly recommend everyone ask for an itemized bill and review it carefully before paying. Based on my repeated experiences, I would avoid this business altogether.

The food was solid Peruvian, very close to authentic with a bit of fusion flair. Everything was well executed, and the service was on point. The servers were constantly checking in, which I appreciated. We ordered a variety of dishes: * Lomo Saltado - Stir-fried sirloin with onions and tomatoes, served over fries and white rice. * Lomo Saltado Montado - Same dish, plus a fried egg on top. * Causa de Camarón - Mashed potatoes layered with shrimp. * Tallarín Verde con Bistec - Al dente spaghetti in a spinach-basil sauce, similar to pesto but with a distinct Peruvian twist. We also tried the Chilcanera Sampler, a flight of three large drinks: Maracuyá (passion fruit), Coco, and Frambuesa (raspberry). All delicious. And of course, we had to try their signature Bulldog D'Carbon, a margarita-style drink with lime, Patrón, vodka, and Grand Marnier. I'd definitely come back to this location--just with the expectation that it can get lively. The entertainment is fantastic, and the food and drinks make it worth the visit.

To make matters worse, nobody answers the phone when you call--it is just endless ringing, which is extremely frustrating when you are sitting around waiting for your food.
