It all started in Fall 2024 with smoothing out my forehead lines, and has since evolved into a complete transformation--including a 71-pound weight loss journey that she's supported every step of the way. One of the standout treatments for me has been Sculptra. If you're dealing with facial volume loss due to weight loss or collagen depletion, I highly recommend it. Chelsea helped keep my facial balancing in check throughout the process, and the results have been natural and confidence-boosting. Being part of their VIP Program has also been such a bonus--especially the weekly B-12 shots, which give me a noticeable energy boost. From the moment you walk in, Lacey is there to greet you with a warm smile and kind words. She also keeps the space immaculately clean, which makes every visit feel comfortable and relaxing. Their skincare products have transformed my daily routine. I now feel confident wearing nothing more than my Plated Skin Serum, Skinbetter products, and SPF--no more full-face makeup needed. I've also had some amazing treatments: * HydraFacial with Chelsea was incredibly relaxing and left my skin glowing. * PicoLaser Facial was a bit spicy, but after just two sessions, my skin looked noticeably clearer and brighter. * Luxe Dermaplaning helped remove peach fuzz and improved how well my skincare products absorb. * I recently began laser tattoo removal for an older faded tattoo, and even after the first treatment, I saw significant lightening. Whether you're looking for facial balancing, skincare, wellness injections, or laser treatments, I highly recommend Chelsea or Sara--they both listen, care, and deliver beautiful, real results.

The facility was exceptionally clean/beautiful/modern and the entire staff was professional and welcoming. My aestheticians, Sara and Chelsea were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to discuss my concerns and desired outcomes. They were honest about what to expect and what was achievable. The procedure was quick, and I am absolutely thrilled with my results--they look natural and refreshed! I highly recommend Sara and Chelsea and this spa to anyone considering enhancing their beauty

Absolutely the worst business I have ever witnessed in my entire life!! I went in for a wound…read more The dr didn't even touch the wound, she just said "it's healing well". All she was interested in was looking at moles and cutting them off. I paid my total before I left the office. No one called me with results for well over 3 weeks. Once they called, they were only interested in making THREE more appointments to remove more of the moles. They refused to do all three at once due to "insurance". I reminded them that I was cash pay but again they told me they could not do it in one visit. All they want is to make as much money off of you as possible. Now let me discuss their phone system. YOU cannot GET A HOLD OF THEM! I've called the office, numbers online, on receipt, I've left messages, I've waited on hold for 40 mins, they NEVER call you back! I recently received another bill, which I'm happy to pay, but I have no idea what the extra cost is for and there is absolutely no way to get a hold of a person to ask. If anyone goes to the office, please tell them to call me, but I would not recommend it! Waste of time!

I don't understand the negative reviews. I am very very satisfied with Tru-Skin in Bastrop, so much…read moreso that I'm embarrassed to say how far I drive for an appointment here. Rural healthcare is the pits and thankfully quality drs and staff are coming to the more rural areas. I'm almost 70, spent my younger years on the beaches in Hawaii, Texas and Florida, therefore lots of sun damage. For the last 25 years I've seen a derm at least every 6 months. Many surgeries, excisions and treatments for BCCs and AK's. I've seen Dermatologists that run you thru like cattle, miss spots that the next one finds, Drs who don't see well and allow their nurses to spot the cancers. There are Drs that are more about the cosmetic side. And some that are hard to work with on the insurance side. And many clinics don't know about or offer the latest technologies. NONE OF THAT HERE. I see Dr. Ma at this clinic. She was recommended to me by a friend who sees her in Hallettsville. I had a great Dr but he moved. She's as good as my last if not better. She's knowledgeable, efficient, great at explaining, respectful and she's fast. The staff is also great: receptionists, billing, nurses.. they also offer the latest (and greatest) treatment for BCC and SCC which is GENTLE CURE. It's a commitment but well worth avoiding more disfiguring scars on my face. Their Radiology Technologists are the best. It beats Mohs surgery by a mile!! I highly recommend this clinic.

Heavenly and way cooler than I expected. My new favorite spot! Ottine Mineral Springs was amazing!…read moreIt is totally a hidden gem and they are currently expanding it making it even more cool. They are adding hotel rooms to stay overnight, updating a chapel to hold event spaces, and making a private indoors soaking area. Parking can be bit tight. We got there at noon and got one of the last few spots. You just walk down a staircase from there and you will see the entrance on the right. They have multiple pools with different temps and vibes. The large main one is like a swimming pool vibe. Behind that is a cold plunge and hot tub. Both wonderful! There is also a sauna in the corner of that section. There are two other pools one has two waterfalls that you can swim under and relax on the other side. The last pool has a rock wall with water coming out and a rocky stone bottom to get a good massage to the feet. I loved this feature! The grounds are very well thought out with lovely landscaping. There are three or four different areas with loungers to spread out depending on which pool you are at. They also have hammocks to chill in. We went on a Wednesday and I believe it was whisper Wednesday but no one was really quiet and I probably could have done a better job myself. People were just talking but no one was loud or obnoxious. I think this could have been enforced more it may bother some people really looking for peace and quiet but I didn't mind. The day pass for a weekday was $70 and we also booked a sound bath that was $27. I highly recommend the added sound batch. There are two more soaking pools in this area that I thought had the most mineral content and was across from the regular amenities offering some privacy from everyone. They also had a bathroom and a shower area. The lockers and bathrooms in the main area can be a little crowded just be patient. People change in and out of the locker room fairly quickly so just wait a little bit if you can't get right to where your locker is. The restaurant looked great here but we did not try and food. We just glanced over the menu. Watermelon salad looked good. They had several sandwiches, fire oven pizzas, and some dessert options. I will eat here next time I visit. I left here so zen-ed out and relaxed more than I have felt in a long long time. It was so rejuvenating. Wonderful Experience!

I recently visited Ottine on a Friday afternoon and had a mixed experience overall…read more Scheduling an appointment over the phone was surprisingly time-consuming. The booking process felt longer and more complicated than it needed to be, and reaching a live person was often difficult. The location itself is pretty cool once you get there, but it's a very long drive with a lot of tolls coming from Austin. The staff during check-in didn't know that we had booked spa services which includes a robe. Instead they said we could rent one for $15. Overall customer service could be improved. The pricing also felt a bit high for the overall experience. While I understand the unique nature of the mineral springs and spa services, I expected a more seamless customer experience given the cost. In hindsight, I would have spent a little more to go to a local spa like Miraval which has a ton of activities, complimentary food & bev and fantastic customer service.
