Above all, I think what makes this my go to place is the attention that Leylie gives to each and every customer.

I recently began working in the area and have started to slowly venture out to try and get in some part of my regular mid day walks. I searched maps for "shopping" to try and get a feel for what's around and Brandy Melville was one of the selections that caught my interest. The store is small, yes and it's fully stocked - every last square inch. I felt the pricing was totally reasonable/affordable and did notice the one size sizing which is interesting but works for some pieces. I tried on a few items that I didn't love but ultimately snagged the perfect little knit American Flag sweater just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Service was excellent! All the girls working here were totally sweet and helpful. I'll definitely be popping in from time to time. In fact, I just stopped in this week and spotted other cute sweaters - this may be a new go to sweater spot for me. In terms of parking, I walked from my office so I have no clue what the parking situation is like since it was totally non applicable in my case.

They also carry accessories like hats, belts and purses. The prices ranged, but it wasn't all "Brentwood" priced, as you would expect. Plus, when you check in, they give 20% off (with some limitations). The salesperson was really nice and allowed me to peruse at my leisure and did not seem bothered if she had to go back to check on something to answer my questions. I definitely appreciate the attention to service.

Milk is genius in picking apart all the ugliest and most unflattering silhouettes from the runway--voluminous balloon dresses, remember? And the "hottest" (trendiest) labels--I believe they call this "minimalist chic" which in fact is a piece of fabric sewn to a smaller piece of fabric, worn over your head with a $350 price tag. I can see how rich folks can buy their overpriced, ugly "designer" clothing here, this is where all of it can be found. The salespeople don't care about you either, well, unless you were some sort of Mischa Barton or out-of-work celebrity who graced the covers of tabloid magazines for a couple months. I bought 2 notepads here. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the designers they carry at Milk, but the merchandise is just flat and unexciting. If I'm going to pay $300 for a tee, it had better not look like I got it at Wal-Mart.

Uhmmmm ok. Not the price I expected to pay but the shirt was still cool so I just rolled with it. I decided not to mention anything about how weird it was to switch it up like that because: 1) I did not have the energy to open myself to the potential of a negative response 2) it's a locally owned business so me paying a little more is all right I suppose 3) yeah damn this economy so I get it.....I guess 4) Westwood rent is high and 5) I can still afford the item without the additional 15% off But in the car I was like damn I don't feel fully satisfied with my shopping experience it was kinda weird how they switched it up Anyways 9.5/10 would recommend to others -- they have a good selection considering how the store is not very big, it's well curated with on trend styles, racing jackets, gorpcore fleece stuff etc. etc but also I won't go back to do any of my random shopping sprees during my lunch hour because I hate being lied to.

This is now the FOURTH time I've placed an order that was quoted as "ready in 2-4 hours," only to hit the 4-hour mark and be told something completely different. Today, I called the store and spoke with Gina, who told me my order wouldn't be ready until TOMORROW. Apparently, any order placed after 5 PM automatically gets pushed to the next business day but that's not stated anywhere on the website. What makes it worse? I'm literally in the store now picking up the items myself, and there are employees standing around chatting and on their phones. Clearly not busy just not motivated. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I couldn't even get their name. Since when is that confidential? Completely unprofessional. I've managed stores before, and this is not how you run a business. If it's slow, you fulfill orders and take care of customers not push them off to the next day for no reason. This is the only location I've had this issue with. Even high volume stores don't operate like this. The selection here is also pretty picked over, which doesn't help. I just moved a block away, and it's unfortunate I'll have to drive farther for basic necessities because this location clearly lacks management and accountability. Based on other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue. Do better. This location needs a serious overhaul.

Parking - One of the dealbreakers in my opinion. Especially during peak hours, it can feel like a maze here, you'll find that it's very easily to get lost here. Worse part is that parking is NOT FREE. However, there's parking validation but only specific stores. They don't tell you or list what stores give validation but even then, it's not for the whole duration and only for a specific time frame. A bit frustrating to deal with overall. However, there's plenty of good sides of the mall. The shops here are great, there's most of the stores that you'll find when it comes to luxury, and higher end shops. Ranges from Apple, Lucid, Tesla, Dyson, lululemon, Therabody, etc. The vibe here is very modern, lights up very nicely since it's a outdoor mall. It's very pretty here during the holidays, my wife and I came during Christmas to see all the holiday lights, Christmas Carols, and artificial snow, which turned out to our favorites. It was such a romantic and chill vibe, very cool to see this yearly. They often has collaboration events here such as these events, so be on the lookout for that. Food here is decent, over the years, they've added plenty of popular spots like Chick Fila, Shake Shack, but the staples here are most certainly Din Tai Fung, HaiDiLao Hot pot, Ramen Nagi, and plenty of other notable spots. I would say, they're all worthy to check out, just haven't had time to check them all out yet. Directory online and in person is very informative as well for the restaurants. Drinks wise, there's bars around the mall, but inside the mall, my go to here is Chagee Tea and Wushiland, both solid boba spots, Chagee of course is more trendy at the moment though. Very popular regardless. There's also Blue Bottle Coffee which I find very underrated. I absolutely love their Cascara Fizz, very much a soda like drink, definitely worth checking out as well.
