Above all, I think what makes this my go to place is the attention that Leylie gives to each and every customer.

Trove is a wonderful resale and consignment store. They have a huge selection of gently used items…read more You can get designer or name brand clothing, all sorts of accessories, purses, shoes, things for your home and they even have a baby section. Their prices are quite reasonable. Many items are up to 80% off what you would pay for great clothes and bags. They also have some nice art now and again it is all fairly priced. This is not a Salvation Army type store, yes, all items are used, but all are designer or something you may have seen in a store. They do not have a huge vintage section and that is fine. It has just really nice things that I would end up paying a lot more for new. The service is great. The staff is nice and knows what is in the store and where. If you are looking for a nice bag, they have it or some nice clothes. I have bought a few things there and I have never been disappointed.

They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Yesterday, we went there and bought a few things. Super cute stuff and fun to shop. My daughter found new Stan Smith Adidas. They couldn't sell them because they lost the key to unlock the block thing that the alarm goes off if cut. Again, I gave my number and today, they called and found the key. Went back and got the adidas.

I recently began working in the area and have started to slowly venture out to try and get in some part of my regular mid day walks. I searched maps for "shopping" to try and get a feel for what's around and Brandy Melville was one of the selections that caught my interest. The store is small, yes and it's fully stocked - every last square inch. I felt the pricing was totally reasonable/affordable and did notice the one size sizing which is interesting but works for some pieces. I tried on a few items that I didn't love but ultimately snagged the perfect little knit American Flag sweater just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Service was excellent! All the girls working here were totally sweet and helpful. I'll definitely be popping in from time to time. In fact, I just stopped in this week and spotted other cute sweaters - this may be a new go to sweater spot for me. In terms of parking, I walked from my office so I have no clue what the parking situation is like since it was totally non applicable in my case.

They also carry accessories like hats, belts and purses. The prices ranged, but it wasn't all "Brentwood" priced, as you would expect. Plus, when you check in, they give 20% off (with some limitations). The salesperson was really nice and allowed me to peruse at my leisure and did not seem bothered if she had to go back to check on something to answer my questions. I definitely appreciate the attention to service.

But then again a ton of celebrities…read moredon't know how to dress themselves, and most of their stylists just pore through runway images and slap on whatever the general trend is on their clients. Milk is genius in picking apart all the ugliest and most unflattering silhouettes from the runway--voluminous balloon dresses, remember? And the "hottest" (trendiest) labels--I believe they call this "minimalist chic" which in fact is a piece of fabric sewn to a smaller piece of fabric, worn over your head with a $350 price tag. I can see how rich folks can buy their overpriced, ugly "designer" clothing here, this is where all of it can be found. The salespeople don't care about you either, well, unless you were some sort of Mischa Barton or out-of-work celebrity who graced the covers of tabloid magazines for a couple months. I bought 2 notepads here. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the designers they carry at Milk, but the merchandise is just flat and unexciting. If I'm going to pay $300 for a tee, it had better not look like I got it at Wal-Mart.

Uhmmmm ok. Not the price I expected to pay but the shirt was still cool so I just rolled with it. I decided not to mention anything about how weird it was to switch it up like that because: 1) I did not have the energy to open myself to the potential of a negative response 2) it's a locally owned business so me paying a little more is all right I suppose 3) yeah damn this economy so I get it.....I guess 4) Westwood rent is high and 5) I can still afford the item without the additional 15% off But in the car I was like damn I don't feel fully satisfied with my shopping experience it was kinda weird how they switched it up Anyways 9.5/10 would recommend to others -- they have a good selection considering how the store is not very big, it's well curated with on trend styles, racing jackets, gorpcore fleece stuff etc. etc but also I won't go back to do any of my random shopping sprees during my lunch hour because I hate being lied to.
