Clean, wonderful people and mani pedi that lasts the LONGEST. I'm so picky about who does my gel, so I do it myself because I'm a perfectionist. Well.. I was feeling lazy and decided to go with mani and pedi this time. First of all, the OPI color I picked for my toes, they had the EXACT same one on gel for my hands. The salon appears clean and nicely decorated and the technician did a nice job with my pedicure. The reason I can't give it a higher rating is because I was rushed to pick a color and then could not relax and enjoy the experience, mainly due to their choice to enforce mask wearing, with no exceptions or choice to do what makes each individual feel "safe". This is also despite there only being 6 people total in the salon, plexiglass between customer and tech, and spaces between clients in the chairs. It's 90+ degrees out and I'm pregnant and the experience sadly was totally unenjoyable because I couldn't breathe. Quite literally nowhere else I've been to since the state mandate was lifted has not given customers the choice to decide for themself whether a mask is helpful to them or not, and had I known prior to booking the appointment (and paying a 50% nonrefundable deposit in advance), I would have gone elsewhere. I'd be willing to give them another shot in the future should they ditch this frivolous, unscientific policy, but until then, I'll take my business where customers are allowed to express free will and decide for themselves what constitutes a relaxing experience. read more

I came here to get a classic pedicure (Which i signed up for online and purchased in advance). the overall pedicure was good (a little rough tbh) but fine and the place is clean and nice. At the end after everything was done and I had already been confirmed for a regular pedicure at the beginning they informed me it would actually cost 5 dollar more than I had already paid for. I assumed I must have used a more expensive polish or something, but they informed me I needed to pay for the mens pedicure which is inexplicably five dollars more. First of all it's wild that it cost more for no difference, and second of all even if there was a difference they should not have given it to me since I did not sign up for the mens pedicure I signed up for the regular one. I was very upset that I was not told about this earlier and seemed to be tricked with it right at the end of service and I think in general it is PREPOSTEROUS that I would be charged more for no reason (also at most places a men pedicure cost less so i'm just so confused how this policy came to be). If I was to be charged earlier I should have been told in advance but tbh even if I had been told I would still be very upset and confused by this policy. Also its crazy to assume my gender in 2024 like I am a man so you are lucky but what if I didn't identify as such? I don't think the person who you mis-gender will be kinder than me about this. read more

Went to this place, they destroyed my cuticles, were 30 minutes late to start my appointment after they refused to change it to a later time and said I needed to be on time and was not allowed to move my appointment. I told them I had another appointment two hours after this and asked if they would be able to do it all in that time frame. They did not do it all in that time frame and left with my nails smudge. Lex Spa has been my go-to nail salon for a while now. The entire staff is so pleasant and friendly! They have a huge selection of nail polish, gels, and dips. All of their furniture and stations are very clean too. I've probably had every nail tech and they all do a wonderful job. I arrived on time and had to wait 20 minutes while they fit in a regular who showed up without an appointment. This was a really horrible experience. I was really looking forward to going to the spa to get my nails done special for my engagement. When I arrived they told me they could not do any designs regardless of the options I presented. They did not offer any other solutions and instead the manager raised her voice and told me I would to still have to pay the 50% deposit of my pre-scheduled pedicure if I did not stay. Regardless of the fact that this was my first time here and had no idea they could not provide the service I required (I had specified the service in the booking request). I was essentially forced to stay or lose my money. It turned something that is meant to be fun and special into an ugly obligation. read more

Had a terrible experience- I had an appointment and the morning of was told I was a close contact of someone who tested positive for covid-19, so I cancelled to be cautious, and they are refusing to refund my appointment, and won't contact the manager until tomorrow. Mother-in-law and I just had the utmost pleasure of having one of the best gel manicures and spa pedicures that we have ever had. To which wehave had too many to count. The spa is beautiful and spacious. The staff is top notch - very attentive, pleasing and professional. All of them not just the person pampering me and that pedicure was total pampering! Won't go back. I booked my 4th appointment online for a mani; I also needed the dip/gel removed. When I arrived, they didn't seem to realize I booked online, and then told me that to remove the dip is $10 - fine. The manager also told me I should've booked a gel removal as she proceeded to angrily attack my cuticles. I asked where on the website the gel removal option is located- certainly not under the option for basic mani. She said "I don't have time to show you." In all my 50 years, I've never had to 'book' a gel removal. In fact, I noted in the online booking text box that I needed the dip removed; I guess they didn't see that part either. So, three days later, some of my cuticles are still red, irritated & stinging. I noticed slight bleeding when I returned home from LexSpa but didn't say anything - my bad. In short, the online booking is not user friendly. One shouldn't have to book two different procedures on two different tabs (yes, I finally found the gel removal procedure under (Gel Manicures). And the fact that the manager angrily attacked my cuticles leaving them raw is a clear indication that they don't do customer service particularly well. read more

Just got my nails done here for the first time. Wonderful! So you walk in and the place looks very nice and very clean. Both of the girls in front were very nice, one of them was my nail tech. I stumbled upon this place on Yelp after looking for a place for my mom and I to get a pedicure. We were able to get an appointment an hour or so later! Wanted to like this place since it is nearby but I did not. Customer service was rude, from the young woman at the front desk to the tech I had. They were friendly to everyone else who walked in after me though, offering them bottled water and politeness. They were all caucasians, maybe since I'm Asian they didn't feel that they needed to be as polite? I'm not sure, but I was very respectful to them. Apart from the poor customer service, they also did not do a great job, technically. They cut two of my fingers while trimming my cuticles and my dip powder was put on way too thick. The cuts were painful and swelled up after my mani, which was not fun for the next several days. A pro is that their space looks really nice and spacious, but I would prefer a place that treats their customers equally and does good job. I had better experience at other salons. read more

There are about 14 reviews that were filtered out. I have now made this place my regular nail salon and every time is the same spectacular quality. Don't miss out.***** This is the best nail salon I've ever been too. I booked my appointment(s) using their website - a manicure and pedicure separately; at consecutive times. When I got to Lex Spa, I was greeted right away by Ann, the business owner I believe. She knew who I was and was basically expecting me. She was very warm and welcoming. The first thing that struck me was how gleamingly clean it was. Everything was clean and bright white, and tastefully decorated. The instruments very obviously came from being sanitized. The tool used to buff the dry skin off my foot came from a brand new package. The tub at the pedicure station was also lined with a liner. The staff took the time to clean the pedicure stations before moving on to the next service. There are a ton of really nice quality polishes, both regular and gel. The set up of the polishes is very nice and everything is easy to look through. Ann, after sitting me down, offered me a beverage. They have free mini-waters, Coke, Diet Coke, and hot tea. Um, please and thank you! There were also candy bowls with an Asian candy and Starbursts, which Ann offered to fetch for me while I was having me pedicure done. To make sure the other customer and I were comfortable she brought us both waters. Emmy did my (classic) manicure and (classic) pedicure, and I have literally never had a better manicure or pedicure. My nails were flawless. She very carefully, gently, and thoroughly cut my cuticles. She snapped my nails beautifully. She was meticulous about removing any stray polish. She took her time. She is so fantastic. Both Ann and Emmy were very personable and easy to talk to. An added bonus was that I went during their grand opening week and they were offering a discount on all their services. I paid after my nails were totally dry (Ann very kindly sprayed my fingers and toes as well as the other customer's as we were drying). It was nice to not feel rushed to pay. I used a credit card, and they only take cash tips which they have clearly noted on display signage. As I I couldn't have asked for a better experience and this is absolutely going to be my new regular nail salon. I recommended Lex Spa to a friend who lived near by. Also, she asked me at multiple points during the appointment if I liked the nails-- at every step. Loved that.
