Granted, I'm only one person and only eat one bagel at a time but I have never had any complaints. They have a good variety. They have a good variety of spreads, as well. Place is in a good location and it's been clean the times I've come in. Price is good too.

I was in a rush so I didn't check the bag he handed off, but when I got home, I found a plain bagel with cream cheese literally oozing off the bagel, and a pumpernickel bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. Deeply disappointed that they got my order wrong, and again, I should have checked the order before leaving the store.

I was in Alameda, CA for the day and decided to try out this coffee shop. I was in a cute little…read morepart of town and it was a bit difficult to find parking but after circling around a bit, I was able to find metered street parking about 2 blocks away from SIGNAL Coffee Roasters. It was a Saturday afternoon and there were some people inside the cafe doing some work. I stopped by with my dog who was in her dog bag and the worker was kind enough to let me order my drink without having to leave my dog outside! I ordered an Iced Black Sesame Latte with Oatmilk. 10/10. Everything was perfectly balanced! The coffee flavor was there but also the sesame flavor. Super refreshing! There were also some seating outside the coffee shop. Not too many but it is still available! Overall, great and friendly service, quick service, and great coffee! I would highly recommend if you wanted a quick stop for some craft coffee!

Flavors were extremely sweet and the candied walnuts tasted stale. Of course to top it off was their chai latte. It felt like a chai la croix because it tasted like the chai was just breathed on the water instead of being mixed in it. Overall really disappointing place. I would purely stick to their breads and maybe their pizzas if you are consider trying Firebrand.

Perhaps it's just a cute little island aesthetics, but the pastries seemed rather traditional. The Yuzu tart was tasty and had good flavor, it was also around 2 PM on a Sunday, so maybe all the good pastries were gone. Service was great and very helpful, and another large family came in to the pastry shop as we were leaving. Maybe I'll try it next time and see if they have different seasonal pastries.

They have great menu items. We ordered the egg salad toast with chili crisp. The egg salad was rich but not much - was it made with kewpie mayo? The market salad with apple slices, Gouda cheese and candied pecans those with sherry vinaigrette was perfect for me! My extra treat was the pandan latte. It's slightly sweet with some jasmine and coconut notes. So delicious! Can't wait to come back!
