More great times and beers at Levity's when I visited my for a couple family reunions in July and August. This is my home away from home. (Brewery capital Boulder Co.) I love the beers and creative delicious food. I always pick up both to bring back home when I drive. I love looking at the Rocky Mountains while eating the Jacked Rabbit sandwich and drinking a Levity's IPA. Nothing better! read more

If you are within 100 miles of this place, GO NOW! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The beers are top shelf and the food menu, though limited, was exceptional. If they give you a pairing suggestion, take it. I've never felt more welcomed anywhere in the world. The last minute live music add put it way over the top. Special thanks to Ted, Tarran, and the rest of the crew. Jason, your musical talent is both deep and wide. I do hope anyone reading this is already on the way! I'll surely be back. read more

This is a brewery that we have had our eye on for a while. We like their beer but it was a little too far for us to get here to visit the brewery. Well we had the day off and we weren't too far away so we got to visit Levity Brewing finally. They have their own parking outside and a decent size space to lounge in front of the building. The road is busy in front of the brewery so it isn't too relaxing but it's not a bad space. We walked in and it' a nice sized brewery. Their bar is kind of small and it was full. So we walked up to look at the menu and ordered at the bar. They have long tables in the main part of the brewery and we found some seats. Levity beer is really good. They had a New England IPA this day that we drank and enjoyed. The atmosphere was good too. Looking at their announcement board they have a lot of cool things that go on during the year. In the summer they have bands and different events. Too bad we didn't live closer to here because we would be here often. If you are in the Indiana area stop by here to get a drink and some food. We didn't eat here but the food looked really good too. Cheers! read more

This brewery has gone to hell. I was in last weekend and tried 5 different beers. I really only went to get a pint of the Haze Frehley which 6 months ago was fairly legit with the haze and juicy quality of a "Vermont style" (which they advertised it as such) -what they served me Sunday was a joke. It tasted like a hopped up Budweiser , absolute disgrace to ruin a beer like this. Then the "sours" and "wild ales" they offer are amateurish and do not deserve the lable they've given them. Not a proper sour, Definitely not a proper wild ale, just taste like regurgitated BILE. I'm a huge huge lover of sours, and the B-side turned my stomach. I'm from Denver, and this isn't my 1st rodeo in the craft beer scene. I have standards, as should anybody spending money in a craft brewery. Whatever they're trying to do here (offering like 10 or more different styles is backfiring .) they can't even perfect 1 style of beer yet, but think its wise to juggle over 10. Lastly the scene... Always unattended kids running Amok throughout the facility screaming and disrupting. Odd bartenders asking personal questions and holding their stare for too long, seems to be a lot of turnover with staff who can't properly fill the glasses, leaving an ounce or two of beer from your glass. Also as someone else pointed out, What is the deal with Big foot gimmick.. We're not in the Pacific northwest, this is fossil fuel land, if you want a gimmick for your brewery, try putting a big card board cut out of a fracking well. P.s. levity please don't contact me with some snarky, rude response like you did on untapped. This is MY opinion and I'm Entitled to it. If you can't handle constructive criticism from patrons and learn from your mistakes, then don't go into business for yourself. Others deserve to hear the bad along with the good. read more

Customer service is lacking. Stood at the bar forever before I being able to place an order (they weren't even busy). They were unable to recommend a beer for me, even after I told them what beers I normally drink, which just got a laugh. I tried a few beers, but they tasted HORRIBLE. Bad service, bad product. Won't be back. read more

Excellent beer and food. Very friendly staff. Currently open for dine-in and you can sit at various tables when ordering food. The Jacked Rabbit sandwich is delicious, spicy but not over the top. Recommend the End of Haze. read more

If you live in Indiana and haven't been here - shame on you! It is an excellent place where they will help you pick a great beer - even if you aren't a beer drinker. They also have great homemade sodas and ciders as well. Go hungry as they have some yum on the menu as well. read more

What a gem! Visiting from Arizona I got lucky enough to sit down with this establishment. Great atmosphere, a staff that knows about pairing with your taste buds. Also got the Cubano sandwich which was awesome. To big to finish (and I am a big appetite). Ask for the dill sauce to go with the Cuban. Had a beautiful imperial stout to go with it. Ashley and the rest of the staff was awesome. read more

My favorite micro brewery by far. Reason being it's the trio that they nailed. Good beer, good food, great staff. Erich, Jay, Luke and Staff will always make time to answer questions and make you feel at home. You never see frowns always smiles from not only all employees but patrons as well. The food is awesome which pairs great with a many varieties of their craft beer. I highly recommend the pulled pork nachos they are out of this world. There's always events going on whether it be live music or firkin Friday's you will never go bored and I always come back! And congratulations on your one year anniversary!! read more

My husband was in the area on business. The client recommended the brewery as a place to try while we were in town. They were said to have good beer and good desserts. When we drive up there were 2 guys playing Corn Hole and two guys on bikes chatting. I really liked the vibe even before we walked in. We went in and most of the tables were full. There were grain sacks used as window treatments. They were a very cool idea. They also had paintings from a local artist on one wall that were not only fantastic but you could also purchased them. There were framed photos on the opposite wall that were also by a local photographer and also for sale. The brew tanks gleamed and the icing on the cake was a very small disco ball hanging between the brew tanks. It threw out little beams of color. We met 2 of the owners and they were both very cool. My husband loved their beer. He tried several of them. I'm not a beer drinker but they make a mango soda. It was amazing!!! It wasn't overly sweet but had a definite flavor of fresh mango. I should have bought a growler of it. In fact the next time we are in the area I will do just that. read more

Top-notch service and an amazing beer selection. The food is fantastic, I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich or the chili or the tacos. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great atmosphere, inside or out. read more

The beer selection is awesome. I was excited to see the amount of diversity. The food was great. We shared the pulled pork nachos. And the service was really positive and upbeat. The one thing that prevents me from giving a higher rating was the amount of children that were there. I noticed a previous review says "in an unobtrusive way" but we had a different experience. It was really apparent how many kids were present by the level of noise. I know some people may think that is a jerk thing to say and by no means do I think that there shouldn't be any kids present in a brewery, but when there are literally more kids than adults present, and you can't have a conversation because of the yelling and sound of chairs being drug across the floor it killed the vibe for us and we left after 1 beer. We'll try going back another day. read more

Best craft beer in western PA. The Haze Frehley is amazeballs!!! Also the staff is the best around.

The staff were absolutely amazing!!! So knowledgeable and welcoming to those of us visiting from literally coast to coast!! The other patrons in the bar area were also very accepting and welcoming....There wasn't a stranger in the place....But above all the housemade and local beverages were incomparable!! The food menu literally left you wanting to try EVERYTHING!!! From MI to CA to WI to OH to SC to WI to DC....WE LOVE YOU!! read more

Daughter is looking at IUP. Hope she decides to go so we can become regular visitors here. Arrived at 9 tonight and the kitchen was closed....They opened it for us...who does that? Levity brewing co. That's who! Paninis were out of this world, pretzel was warm and dipping sauces were different and excellent. Beer choices were outstanding and don't forget the craft sodas. Awesome! Everyone was friendly and couldn't be nicer or more welcoming. We will be back! read more

I hate to admit that I like this place and as long as it doesn't get too hipster-dufus, I'll continue to patronize it. (They have/had a Construction Junction flier on the wall -- I love that place, but it's a red flag.) The first couple of times I visited, I tried everything and would complain that they had a lot of beers that were awful. Now that I've been there a few times, I only order the beers that I know I like and I've had a much more enjoyable experience. I've only ever enjoyed the Imperial Pretzel (appropriate name), but they a small-but-well-rounded menu of light fare. They also have other local favorites in addition to the Brown Hotel in to serve their food from time-to-time. This is also a child-friendly taproom -- seriously. This place is lousing with children (in an unobtrusive way) most times I've been in. read more

A very good selection off food with good finger food all at a fair price for a brewery!

We were there a week ago Friday, started at 6.00 pm, still hadn't gotten food at 8.00. Went inside to ck again on food and cancelled our order to which a bartender said oh sorry I'll just charge you for your drinks, imagine...so rude! Won't go back! read more

We came out for a date night after my boyfriend driving passed a few times. We got there it was pretty small, but atmosphere was chill. We sat at the bar since there was no seating. We got some beer at the advice of the waitress. The beer was awesome and food was amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the service. Everyone was super friendly and great. However, I did not like that you had to get up and go to register to order. There was plenty of staff that could've made the traffic in the small place easier, but they all just kind of stood around talking. Even sitting at the bar we couldn't really get help. It wasn't till we were almost done did we learn you had to go up front to order. read more

Really liked the #8 (can't remember but it was a new IPA) and the Russia Imperial stout so I got a growler of each to take home to Pittsburgh. Well, they didn't fully seal the stout so now my car smells like all my cars did between 19 and 23 yrs old. Otherwise, the beers were great. I tried 4 different IPAs and would recommend all of them. Really nice atmosphere also. read more

Great place. Atmosphere is amazing, owners and staff are friendly. Most importantly their beers are top notch. Their menu is concentrated so the food is great too. Not all over the map. Love spending time here. Also a great place to catch live music. read more

Great beer, very nice atmosphere. Very clean! Limited menu but great food at reasonable prices.

Was in Indiana, PA for a work trip and stopped by Levity. The food was pretty solid and I really liked the beer. Being from Michigan, I'm really spoiled when it comes to quality beer. I would rank Levity as middle of the road for beer when I compare to Michigan breweries. I would definitely go back if I find myself in Indiana again. read more

Great good, relaxed atmosphere and of course fabulous beer. Staff is always friendly and helpful with recommendations on beer.

I had the plum porter and Jacked Rabbit and both were fantastic. Loved the variety of beers and the food was really creative and delish!

Had an awesome experience at Levity. A menu of simple appetizers and sandwiches compliment a great beer list. Highly recommend!

Great food, good beer, good entertainment and great staff. You can pick 1/2 sandwiches and they have really good Mac & cheese.

This is my favorite place to get a beer in Indiana, PA. Great food, great barstaff, great vibes!

Went there after visiting Punxsutawney for some eats and drinks. They had a large selection of beers to try. My husband ended up getting a stout flight and I got an IPA flight. I think my favorite was the Coconut Stout with lactose. Delish! I also tried the pulled pork Pub Tacos. They were amazing! I wish I lived closer because thinking about them makes me want more. read more

Awesome beers and awesome food. We loved the atmosphere also. I tried the Korrie's And Her Wheat, it was excellent. My husband had the R&D3 and he said it was fantastic. A very drinkable IPA. Highly recommend this place when visiting Indiana, PA! read more

This place had a fleeting moment of being a potential go to brewery. That was when the first batch of Haze Frehley lived up to its name and style. Since then this beer has morphed into something not hazy nor NE style so why label it something trendy? Most of the beers I have liked from Levity are not routinely offered if they will even offer them again. I liked Confliction and C4 Breakfast. The latter has been the only sour that I have tried that has had flavor or character. More often than not the menu is fairly routine and boring. The scene is a limp spattering of weak music, nothing with any stones. I often feel like I am in Kmart. The staff seems friendly but can become a little too chatty and weird if you sit at the bar. After having TRVE brewing in my life, I often assume I have died and am in my own private hell. read more

Five stars when Haze Frehley is on point...which tonight it was once again!!! Food is always awesome (Yes, a brewery can multitask) and staff is friendly and fun. Bigfoot is a bonus. (Actually MANY great beers, but we particularly love HF.) read more

So, I accidentally found this place which was a good thing. However, I was slightly disappointed let me explain. I can only rate for the beer! I was surprised to find a brewpub in Indiana, so I stopped in. The atmosphere was friendly and nice. The bartender greeted me and I ordered a beer, summer school something I believe, initially I thought the pint glass had a crack in it. Here it was the bartenders hair. I got a new beer...... This beer was ok, mild, very mild carbonation. More of a pale ale than the listed IPA. The next beer I had was an amble ale. I thought it was a little lite in the malt area. Tasted like a amber light beer. Not very good. I had one more, just to see.....and that beer was a little disappointing too. My suggestion to ALL these microbreweries/brewpubs make 2-3 beers Very Good. Then start experimenting with other styles. You are out of your realm when you brew very low quality numerous beers. This place has 13 beers to offer and all 13 are just quaffable. Also, there is some kind of Bigfoot gimmick going on in the next few weeks....Bigfoot?? Are you kidding me?? I won't be back sorry.... read more
