I've been to Oak Mont, Providence, Audrey Moore…read more Amenities: -pool - ranging from 0 to 12 ft deep, has ~10 lanes, during the day though there are often classes or team practice, so best to do lap swimming during the day -locker room - showers, separate family or senior changing rooms (4x) -hot tub -sauna -cardio equipment - treadmill, ellipticals, bikes -indoor track -weight room - dumbbells, machines, squat rack -basketball court/pickleball court -pilates studio - no sure if you have to pay extra but there was a class going on when I looked in -various dance style rooms for classes Where to put your stuff -there are generally a lot of open cubbies throughout the facility -any lockers will require a quarter, you can't use your own lock --wish they would change them to normal lockers -bleachers in the pool area and basketball court -some chairs at the ends of the pool lanes Cleanliness/Overall Experience -dry land (yes I am a swimmer) equipment and areas seem to be pretty clean -swimming - ok if you swim in the early mornings, but lanes are a bit narrow and you will likely have to share. If you are a lap swimmer, it will be tough getting a lane in the evening -locker rooms - eh ok for a public facility like this but expect mold, hair, and other gunk in showers. Definitely lots of room for improvement for shower cleanliness -staff have been warm and helpful -value - their membership does allow you to use all the Fairfax rec centers, so if you do that, then it is a decent value. Still a struggle if you are a lap swimmer like myself. If they could have better cleaning in their facilities and more dedicated time to lap swimmers then it would be an amazing value.

And forget about using the family change room "cabanas" to escape that situation because they had standing water pooled up on the floor and no one wants to walk through dirty water when they take a shower. Then there's the swim teams that take over the pool and all the shouting/echoing from the coaches in such a small natatorium, it was hardly relaxing. Sadly, it was just a very stressful experience.

Unless your in a fiat/mini, there's no chance you can make a u-turn to go find parking. You also cannot park in the strip mall next door, even though it has ample free parking./

The therapists are fun, engaging, and knowledgeable and the gym has many fun activities that my son enjoys. Everyone really cares, here, and parents are involved in the process. There are so many limitations and restrictions and things that get in the way of a patient and getting what they need. There is a baby pool splash area and an indoor area as well. This swim team has an excellent food bar for swim meets only - options included burgers with multiple toppings options (including onions) and cheese pasta in a bag which was a big favorite among the kids. The only thing that left me wanting more was the bathroom. It could be very nice with a remodel, but as it is, the showers without stalls to cover yourself and the white cinder block walls give me jail vibes. This is a small part of the pool though so I don't hold it against the pool. Everything else is great!

And though I was late, there was a lot of parking in the lot. The lot doesn't have marked lanes (at least, this is what I saw... Then again, it was dark and I could've missed the lines). It seemed that the amount of cars that can fit is dependent upon how close people park to one another. As I entered the building, I noticed there were two pools in front. One was a standard sized swimming pool with lanes, and the other one was a smaller wading pool. This looked really good for children. There was also a playground (well, more like a few swing sets) outside next to the pool as well. There were a good number of people at the meeting, but there was enough room for everyone. When you enter, there is a small room that leads to two different rooms (and a downstairs). One room is a large room where events can take place. The other is a smaller room that is better for hosting/eating because there is a kitchenette as well as some couches and a low table in it. I didn't go downstairs, so I don't know what's there. There are two single stall bathrooms in the back of the large room. Those bathrooms, along with everything else about the facility, were very clean. My only complaint about this place is that there's no insulation! I was in a crowded room and I was freezing cold. I don't know if they have a heater and we just weren't using it, but it was so cold it made everything much less enjoyable!

That's been changed considerably. I'd say a complete 180. Was thrilled with my son tonight, to see where he got his first sacks as a football player. Personally I think he's nuts, but am proud of this student athlete. He said it himself, "this is at the same place, but major boost." That seems appropriate. The only challenge I can see is parking, but it's not like finding a spot in a large city. There's a community center and streets close by. The field is well marked now. All appears new and they did this field justice. Getting young men and women into sports is important. This facility will be instrumental in development. Families and their children will benefit!

This is a superb ballpark with artificial turf in the heart of Vienna. It has bleachers and a…read moresnack bar - and has an adjacent softball field (Caffi Field) with a few picnic tables and shaded gazebo. Waters field is primarily used by the Greater Vienna Babe Ruth (GVBR) League. It's a great spot to catch a baseball game. Restrooms are a short walk away in the Vienna Community Center. Parking is available on the street, but it may be easier to use the spots in the Vienna Elementary School lot on weekends if multiple games are occurring simultaneously. The only downside is that foul balls can wander into the street corner behind home plate, so be sure to keep an eye out for stray baseballs during games.
