I could shop in this store all day long! I was blown away with the selection of the funko pop…read morevinyls. I found many rare items in this zone. There were three rows and a full back wall. The greatest part was how well it was organized by characters that go together from comics and movies. This store in general is very organized and clean. In the T-shirt area I found some very unique Coraline and King of the Hill gear. They also appear to have games, movies, novelty swords, and even guitars. What a variety! But wait...there's more! I wondered into their reading area and stumbled upon not one, not two but three rows of mystery to explore. After spending a good twenty minutes in that section. I found a zone with color by sticker books that I had never seen before. I've always been a sucker for stickers and this was a new way to get my sticker on. The employees were very friendly and talked about the changing from Hastings to what they are today and all the moves they've made and obstacles they've overcome. I will definitely be back for gifts and goodies for myself. I highly recommend stopping by and joining in on the fun.

This store is huge and has a ton of stuff in it. They are, however, moving to another location. I…read morelooked at a lot of the DVDs/Blu-rays and manga but didn't see anything of interest. Some of the prices seemed high. There was an 11-minute DVD they wanted $8 for. Bizarre. I'm not sure I'd come back as it seems like you need a battle plan of what you really want before going in.

My company rented out Andretti for a private event and it was a lot of fun…read more The event was really well organized. For racing: each person revived a wristband with the time of the race heats on it so they knew when to report to the racing bay. They do a good job of explaining the rules and how the carts operate. I was surprised how heavy the helmets were but then when I saw how other people were handling their carts, it made sense. These carts move! Not everyone was comfortable with the speed or the course because it's much more "rainbow road" style than what most people are used to. The race itself felt like a good length of time but it would've been nice to have some tiered races; like beginner, intermediate, advanced. For food: they had a whole spread of food and the staff was making sure it was well stocked and clean. They also gave everyone two drink tickets to the bar and there was a large variety of options you could cash those tickets in for (including non alcoholic drinks). For games: we each got a game card that was active for one whole hour from the first swipe and was limited to the mainly the non ticket issuing games. It added another level of team building with a lot of the games being multi player. There were almost no games out of order either.

Located right next to TopGolf. I signed up for the adult race. I did not play any of the arcade…read moregames and focused just on the racing. The track was well designed and the karts felt fast and responsive. Staff did a good job explaining the rules and keeping everything organized so the race ran smoothly. The competition made it fun and the timing system added to the experience. Even without doing the games, the karting alone felt worth it. A solid spot if you are looking for something active and different to do in San Antonio.

This place has bowling, drinks and food! The food is from the bar Nextdoor, The General Public. I…read morereally liked their ginger spritz. It featured ginger beer, lemon juice, and yuzu syrup. It was delightful! You could really taste the yuzu. They added a mint leaf for garnish too. The food included a caesar salad, bread and pistachio crisp, and this super yummy spinach artichoke dip. The dip was my favorite! The baristas were very friendly! There are complimentary socks if you need them to bowl.

Save your money - do not order the pizza! I ordered the cheese pizza for $22 along with a couple…read moreother items from the menu, but somehow something was lost in translation over the music and I received a slice of cheese pizza for $7.50 (I didn't know this was an option because it's not on the menu). The staff offered to try to bring the whole pizza that the slice came from (a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza). I agreed because paying 1/3 of the cost of a whole pizza for just a slice didn't make sense to me and it wasn't what I ordered. Once the whole pizza came out, I tried a slice and it was bad. The cheese was waxy and flavorless. That's when I regretted not agreeing to just a slice and only paying $7.50. That being said, they offer a large soft pretzel which is a good option, however I'm not a fan of the cheese sauce that comes with it (and I love cheese). The building is great for bowling, which is $32 an hour and shoe rental is $6 per person for VERY worn down shoes/laces. A party of 4 will pay $25 and change for shoe rental that was uncomfortable for two out of the four of us. I would recommend bringing your own bowling shoes. Lastly, we were celebrating my daughter's birthday on this visit and learned they don't do anything special for birthdays. We will definitely try somewhere else for a future celebration.
