Though I've been here just once (for lunch), I am already plotting my return. I arrived a bit earlier than my friends and in so doing, accidentally avoided the start of the lunch rush. As there are not many tables here, I feel I lucked out snagging a table for us. As I took at the cozy, classy splendor of a still very new establishment, the relaxed but polished decor was both inspiring and low-key. I had an excellent espresso while I got my wish: extended time to take in the menus. The drink menu, and the food menu. It's my favorite when that part of the cafe/restaurant experience delivers tons of time to get really acquainted with a place. Our friendly, helpful server asked the questions I had about the menu, and the time he didn't know he went and found out. Breakfast is served all day, by the way. My friend started with the sausage rolls (accompanied by the freshly made ketchup). Delicious and great for a table starter or a fairly light entree. Good crunch, and moist inside with plenty of seasoning. My entree was the black forest ham quiche. It was indicative of everything else here: the right size, the right mix of produce, protein, fluffy, cheesy egg inside, and anchored by a subtle but first-rate crust. It's served with a fennel based salad, a crisp and a great complement. We were happy and satisfied sooner than expected (alas, Le Moules must wait). Still, I could not resist a little dessert and ordered the Pain Aux Apricot. It was fantastic, something out of a cafe in Paris. Crisp and light and just sweet enough. Appreciated the friendly service. A steady diet of 70's soft-rock quietly served as the soundtrack at this one lunch. There is easily accessible parking on the street or mostly-free city lot.

Was craving some sweets and it just so happened I came in to the right spot. This place has a variety of individual pies perfect for one person. Ordered the mixed berry pie (blackberries, raspberries, and one other which I can't recall). Sooooo incredibly delicious. Thought it would be overwhelmingly sweet but it really wasn't. Had it with a cappuccino which was perfect. They also had cherry, apple, and banoffe cream, and I believe a few other seasonal options. But have to say I didn't regret my choice. They also have savory pies including chicken and leek, and beer pies. Was a bit full from lunch but would love to try these at some point. Additionally, they also had some lunch and dinner entrees. Overall super cute and cozy place to sit and enjoy some tea/coffee with a pie. Love the vibe. And the service was also exceptional. Definitely coming back soon.

Cupcakes: REALLY GOOD! Quite possibly the perfect cupcake?…read more Banana Pudding: I'm from the South, so what I will say is it is definitely the closest to "correct" banana pudding that I've found in LA. It has a much higher ratio of whipped cream to pudding or banana, but it was real banana instead of that fake banana flavor you often see so I respect it. Key Lime Icebox Bar: Objectively good, nothing wrong with this. Very tart!! Staff was super friendly and to my surprise there was no one there when I went on a weekday. Cute space!! I'd be curious to come back and try the toppings on the banana pudding and I would definitely come back for the cupcakes.

I had my hubs and…read moremom order me a cherry jam cake for my birthday and in the end there was somehow truly no discernible cherry jam in the cake. Instead, there was a greyish buttercream that had a bizarre medicinal flavor that honestly tasted like childhood antibiotic to me and many of my guests. We laughed about it but I was ashamed. The texture was dry, the flavor was unpleasant and the whole thing felt completely devoid of love or personality. Visually, it was just as disappointing. Soulless as a Kardashian baby shower in 2016. Tacky, generic and somehow flavorless in both appearance and actual taste. What made it worse was the amount of effort involved in getting the cake. After a long commute to pick up what was supposed to be a special part of my 40th birthday, I ended up with something that looked nothing like what I thought I had a ordered and the flavor was genuinely awful. Even the chef at the restaurant where I held my birthday event commented after cutting into it that the cake felt soulless. That pretty much sums it up. For something meant to be celebratory and special, there was no joy, no warmth and no care in it. It came dangerously close to ruining that part of my birthday. I would absolutely not order from here again. Awful.

She took me here. The place was very clean and tidy with a lot of different types of sweet treats. I was there for one thing only. I did ask the gal working if they were made that day and she said yes. We ordered a raspberry, an orange, a coffee bean and the popular mango. This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

They were so apologetic when I came and they offered me a different cupcake, but I declined and they gave me a free cupcake to use on a future order (that expired in six months). Jump to yesterday when I remembered I still had that coupon to redeem that was about to expire. And as it turned out, I was already planning a trip to the westside. The coupon code they had given me didn't work on their website, so I emailed customer service for assistance. They were so helpful and redeemed it for me, asking what flavor and time I wanted to pick it up. My heart raced again, fearful I would drive all that way and they would run out of the last vegan cupcake. The customer service person assured me that they would put it aside for me with my name on it. I arrived about 10 minutes after the time I had ordered it for, as traffic was atrocious. Thankfully I found a meter across the street to park at. When I arrived, the employee enthusiastically greeted me and had such a great bubbly energy. The store itself was fun and vibrant. She was very helpful in finding my item, which had been placed in the back of the store.
