Here is a timeline of the events…read morethat led me to give them ONE STAR: Tues, 12/15/2020 Ordered bike, paid for shipping Tues, 12/22/2020 Bike was scheduled to be delivered via UPS, it never arrived; I checked the UPS website and saw "deliver to: Commerce, CA" (I don't live anywhere close to Commerce, CA and how is UPS supposed to deliver to an address without a street name or address number) Wed, 12/23/2020 Bike still did not show up; I rechecked UPS delivery and it stated "insufficient or incorrect delivery address to "Commerce, CA"; I called UPS delivery and tried to change the delivery address to add my street name and address #; UPS told me the address change has been restricted and that I had to contact the sender to change the delivery address, and also informed me that even if I changed the delivery address to the correct one by tomorrow, 12/24/2020, it won't be delivered by Christmas; called Playtri and spoke with a young man, who said the shipping person was working today and he would ask her to call me back; never received a callback from her Thur, 12/24/2020 Called Playtri again and asked about the delivery address on my order, spoke with an Anne @ Playtri and she asked me "have you moved recently?" (as if I ordered the bike, moved, and then didn't inform Playtri); then she asked me "do you live near McKinley Ave?" (as if I knew where McKinley Ave was in Los Angeles because I'm pretty sure every city in LA has a McKinley Ave); I said "I don't even know where that is without looking at a map" to which she responded, "because if you want this by Christmas, you need to go pick it up at the UPS on McKinley Ave" to which I thought, "ok," but actually responded with, "YOU GUYS PUT IN THE WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS AND I CAN'T CHANGE IT, SO CAN YOU PLEASE CORRECT THE ADDRESS TO MY HOME ADDRESS? I DON'T EVEN CARE IF THE BIKE IS A LITTLE LATE AT THIS POINT" to which Anne responded, "ok, we'll correct the address to your home address so the bike is delivered to your home" Sat, 12/26/2020 Bike hasn't arrived; checked UPS website and it states "check back tomorrow for updated delivery status"; delivery address still says "deliver to: Commerce, CA"; told husband to call Playtri because I was tired of dealing with them; husband called and spoke with Anne, who said "your wife called already and we changed the address" (aka what the hell do you still want from us? We don't care anymore because we did our part); they NEVER accepted responsibility for not double checking to make sure they had the correct mailing address Sun, 12/27/2020 Checked UPS website and it states "check back tomorrow for updated delivery status" and delivery address still says "Commerce, CA"; I call UPS and ask them to hold the bike at the UPS off McKinley Ave so that I can pick it up tomorrow between 12pm - 4pm because they are closed on Sundays; UPS customer service places a hold on the bike so that it doesn't get placed on a truck for delivery Mon, 12/28/2020 Drove to the UPS off McKinley on the ONLY day it rained HARD in Los Angeles; got to the UPS customer service center and Darneisha asked me if I called UPS ahead of time to inform them to hold the bike for pickup because that's what you have to do in order to pick up the bike at a distribution warehouse; I told her I did call yesterday and spoke with customer service and they told me they would place a hold on the bike for pickup; Darneisha tells me that she cannot locate the bike anywhere in the warehouse because the bike was placed on a UPS delivery truck and is supposed to be delivered to my home tomorrow or the day after (aka I wasted a trip to the UPS off McKinley Ave Tues, 12/29/2020 Bike FINALLY arrives at my home at 9pm; the box is obviously open because someone needed to take a peak inside the box; my husband tries to put the bike together that night and noticed the fork offset got dinged upon shipping or at Playtri and the front wheel doesn't fit in-between the fork offsets; we debate what to do and ultimately decide to shave down the metal in the morning so the front bike wheel can fit; we research the issue and decide that we should not bend the offset back and forth because it can compromise the strength of the fork offset Wed, 12/30/2020 My husband files down the metal so the front wheel fits Conclusion: IN NO WAY AM I BLAMING UPS. In fact, Darneisha was amazing and deserves to be recognized for her assistance, she called me on 12/30/2020 to make sure I knew the bike would be delivered on 12/30/2020 or 12/31/2020.
