This is an incredible indoor playground! My husband was at a conference all day, so I headed over with my daughter after lunch as there was a heat warning so we needed an indoor activity. We stayed here for about 2 hours, but she could have stayed another 2 hours! They have wifi, so I was able to work a bit while she played. There were massage chairs (additional fee) for adults in the front area which I thought was nice- I didn't try them so can't speak to how nice! Even though this place represents something that seems like a personal hell for me, it serves the purpose it is supposed to and does it well. The reason it is my personal hell - tons of other people's kids interacting with my kids and germs and no sports on TV and no cold beer and it just seems terrible. But when we were invited to a birthday party here, my kids were excited, they were going to get fed and they were going to get a TON of energy out leading to a good nap. I like that they have a system for making sure kids don't go missing. They do matching invisible stamps that have to match the kids with you before you leave. When it comes to young kids, you can never be too safe. Especially in a place like this with tons of nooks and crannies. My kids had a blast and it seemed like every kid there celebrating a birthday felt special. I'm not sure of all of the logistics of hosting a party here. But it seems very easy on the parents with built in entertainment for hours. My biggest regret is not having a place like this when I was kid... oh and no sports or beer. read more

I decided to take my son to let's play today since it's just entirely to hot outside to play and he loved it! We were practically the only people in the place besides the workers which was awesome for us and I assume it's because school started back. My family and I have been to this location before and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately we went today and they had a Pixar movie playing on their giant tv projector. Now I don't know where other parents may stand on this, but I don't need to pay 40 bucks for my kids to get zombified by television when they can do that at home. It's called Lets Play, not Let's Watch TV. We bring our kids to these type of places for them to get all their energy out and having a big projector playing kids movies goes against everything an establishment like this should stand for. When I asked the front desk lady if this was normal to play movies (as we had never experienced this before) she replied they frequently play movies during the week. The inside was deceptively big and they had activities for all ages My children both had a blast in the toddler area. We were limited to that area due to the large crowd. There was a field trip that specific day so we didn't want to venture out too far. They had a great time on the toddler trampoline and ball pit. Overall, the price is a little steep since you can't really spend an entire day there. There is also no outside food allowed and I believe I saw packaged food they sell inside. One of our favorite cold or rainey day places! They have a special area for 4 and under with a maze, trampoline and slides that go into the ball pit. There is also a small merry go round in the toddler area. For a bit bigger kids, there is a large inflatable slide, bounse house, and multi level maze play area. As a parent the multilevel play area is the best I have found if your child is younger, and you are playing with them. Every where you have to crawl is padded, so it is pretty easy on the knees. There are multiple slides, ball pits, and cannons that shoot soft balls with in the pirate ship maze area. My son is almost 4 so I like to play with him, and I find I get a pretty good work out here. There is also a zip line and cargo net area which we have not tried yet, but other kids look like they are having fun. There are no coin or token games here which I appreciate. I know how much I am going to spend. I pay 11 dollars for my son, adults do not have to pay, and he can play as long as he likes. There are birthday parties going on most Saturday's and Sunday's. They bring a character out on the dance floor and turn on party lights that everyone gets to enjoy. The dance floor lights up as you step on it too! We were passing through Alabama on our road trip and needed a place for our 2 year old daughter to let some energy out. This place was so much fun for her AND for me! You only pay admission for the child, which is convenient if you have older children who are playing and you're just watching. Walk-in admission prices are very reasonable since you can play as long as you want. The employees were friendly and I noticed them cleaning throughout our visit (3-6pm). The play structures seem to be in good shape- a few tears on some of the foam pieces, but overall everything was well kept. They have snacks and drinks available since you can't bring in any. Although this place is fun for children, the teenagers working the front of the counter need training on how to communicate with people. I had my niece in town who is very shy and doesn't like to go to places alone. The girls at the counter said we couldn't take her to the bathroom without paying first. Then after we paid she said we couldn't play until we had socks (the adults), which is fine. They still wouldn't let my niece to the bathroom because I didn't have socks. The girl went on to be rude and said hat she can go by herself to the bathroom and I can stay here. I went on to say no that I just needed to go to the bathroom we weren't going to play. I said you can watch me and make sure. I just don't want her peeing on herself. She then finally let me go. She was beyond rude. I have never seen someone say I can't take a child to pee before. Best place in Birmingham for indoor play for small children. The interior is clean. Remarkably so in comparison to a play area in a fast food restaurant. I commented on the cleanliness to one of the staff members and she made it abundantly clear that was one of managements primary objectives, which I greatly appreciated. There are GermX stations throughout. The activities are endless. Just under $7.00 for my 2 yr old socks and energy required! I'd give this place a slight advantage over the place we went in GA. This place is newer and has some cooler equipment for bigger kids. Playground paradise for 10 and under! I went down Valleydale from Helena my phone sent me to the Winn Dixie shopping center at Valleydale and 280. What you need to do is go thru the light crossing 280 and it's in the strip mall adjacent to the Home Depot. There are climbing apparatuses, slides, ball pits, rope obstacle courses and inflatables. There were even air cannons that shoot soft squishy balls. They have concessions and toys for purchase. They don't allow outside food on the signage but we walked out to the main foyer area and no one said anything about me giving my daughter a banana and a granola bar. They have chips, cheese itz etc... likely don't mind a few healthier snack options for small children. Probably wouldn't like you bringing in a pizza or a bag of fast food. The staff was polite and friendly. This is where my daughters next bday party will be! I grabbed a pricing sheet for the parties. So I went all over that place with her. I climbed into some tight areas chasing after her but by and large most adults can get around pretty comfortably. I'm 6'2 and far from petite so if I can get around most anyone can. I recommend putting the kiddos in pants. I put my daughter in little yoga pants to avoid getting friction burns on slides and ropes. She had an absolute blast. Weekdays if you have the time seem ideal as there were no more than 20 other kids there at any given time during our visit. I can see how this place is likely a mad house more suited for older more independent children on weekends. My daughter didn't want to leave! We spent maybe 2 and a half hours there today. With a couple breaks for snacks. When I got her to the car and put her in her seat with a snack and drink for ride home she lasted maybe 45 seconds before she was snoring in her carseat. Worn completely out but had a great time. I highly recommend this for kids 10 and under in all stages of development. Don't forget socks! They're required for everyone. No shoes allowed. Our party host didnt show up so we had to wait for a different host. That young lady clearly hadn't done parties before. She was seldomly in the room, they didnt bring the balloons until the very end and 30 minutes after the party started our host left. The manager came and said he would help get our things and clean up when we were done. When I went to settle up the manager asked if I wanted to leave a 15 or 20 percent tip. This place isn't safe for small, under 3ft kids to go to, even though they have an under 3ft ONLY area since the staff don't enforce that rule and the small kids get ran all over by huge kids. My kid almost got kicked in the face by a bigger kid that if the staff would of done their jobs they wouldn't of even been in the 3ft area since the kids were older. The staff don't do anything except talk to each other. All the staff do is stand in the front and talk to each other, all the time the small kids are getting ran over by the bigger kids that are in the small under 3ft area. The whole thing was the staff didn't do anything at all in the hour we were there to make the area safer OR even check and NEVER talked to any of the bigger children OR their mothers, that kept coming in the small kids areas. It is an extremely unsafe place to go to with your kids if they are small unless you want to have to tell big kids they are too big to be in the small kids area, like you work there or risk fighting with their mothers that don't watch their kids at all and let them run all over your child, since the staff do NOTHING to keep the big kids from running all over the small kids.
