Unfortunately the employees here seem like they hate working here. Not sure if it's management or maybe they don't have a good hiring standard protocol Also Chuck E. Cheese's are basically casinos for little kids. The kids I brought ran through their points in 20 minutes. Never again am I coming here. For 3 hours, 4 kids and some mediocre pizza, I spent close to $200 for a chaotic time. From the start no one monitored me coming in. This happens to me in the schools I work at sometimes. Just because I'm a woman without any threatening physical attributes, shouldn't mean I should be able to waltz in any where unchecked. I like the privilege but everyone needs to be checked including me. I didn't even have any kids with me when I walked past the check point. Their parents dropped them off with me. So I asked what the best value was and the lady looked annoyed by question. Not everyone frequents these little trap houses for kids. Please be prepared to answer questions and offer advice. I was told to pay $60 for the most amount of points and have that divided by 4 instead of paying by the minutes. I thought surely this will allow the kids to play for at least 2 hours. Nope. Had to charge the cards multiple times. I put in my pizza order. It took forever to come out. Giant cookie was amazing. Fries were not good, they were unseasoned air fried frozen ones and not worth the money. The mouse came out twice and the kids asked if he was okay. I said probably not. He would just do an unenthusiastic dance and then leave to the restroom area after 5 mins. I get it. I would never want to be that mouse. Some kid or maybe an adult stole my 4 year old nephew's play pass. Goodness what in the Birmingham Alabama was that?! lol. Luckily I was ready to take them home by that point. I came here for a friend daughter 's bday party. I hadn't been to Chuck E Cheese in a number of years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Lots has changed. Since it was a Saturday afternoon, it was crowded, obviously. The parking lot is weird but didn't have an issue parking. Upon entering, I never really was assisted ... just standing there looking dumb. I had to tell them I was here for a bday party. Would have been nice to be acknowledged.... It is very bright inside. The party area is a little on the tight side. During the entire time of the party , I felt like I was always in the way. Lol. I wasn't the only one who felt this way. The staff is young. They did okay but definitely room for improvement. Most were lazy in their demeanor. Pizza wasn't the best but the kids enjoyed it. That's all that matters. Chuck E Cheese will come out and sing happy birthday and do some dances . It's definitely a highlight for the kids. Three stars is far. This is our first time back since COVID started. Well, the recent remodeling has really given this place a new lease on life!! The interior seems brighter, cleaner, and all the games are new and in good working condition. Gone are the paper tickets that used to spit out from the machines that periodically gets stuck or runs out. Instead, you now purchase a play card and all the tickets are tracked electronically on the card. The play card costs a dollar itself then you load it with points to play games. It basically comes out to 50 cents a game if you purchase points, so basically the price doubled from the last time we were here when it was a quarter a game. Alternatively, you can buy time and play an unlimited number of games within a certain time period. The food is fine...not the best pizza you will ever have by any means, but not terrible either. Definitely edible and good enough for kids to fill their tummies while running around playing games. Appears to be short on staff currently as there was only one girl watching the door, the ordering counter, and the prize counter while we were there. She was kept pretty busy and obviously you have to be patient to wait for her to get around. read more

Not the warmest welcome walking in. The young lady that took our order was nice. We didn't know exactly what to do. As far as placing our order to how to buy game time. (Why did we need our hand stamped? No.. I didn't ask‍)Considering it has been years since I have been. Husband never has been to one. This was the gson 2nd visit to one. The pizza was a toss up. We agreed it was fair. Gson said it was good. At least it was hot. Chuckie wasn't the friendliest character I have been around. Kinda standoffish. I was perturbed getting a one on one picture when he only stayed out a short time with many kids being there. Staff wasn't friendly even when spoken to. Presence of law enforcement was a concern. It's been years since I have been to Chuck E. Cheese. I decided to take my nephew and oh boy!!! This place is busy!!! There is either a child or adult in every space available but it appeared that all there were having a great time! Pretty decent games and the All You Can Play Card seem to have nice perks. I have to admit that it was nice being back and my nephew really had an awesome time. My step-father even enjoyed the outing because he has never been. I saw there were several birthday parties and the area was set up nice. We didn't eat there but the food looked appetizing. On my next visit we may order a pizza to enjoy with the games. read more

What can I say this place is always busy!! I came here for a 10am birthday party and thought to myself that it wouldn't be so crowded.... WRONG!! Lol This place has changed so much since I was a child (80's baby). Chuck E. Cheese makes his appearance several times throughout the 2hr spans of the birthday party. We went right when it opened this morning at 11 am. It was obvious from the start that they were severely understaffed. There was one person stamping people as we walked in, and one person working the counter. We waited in line over 20 minutes to order food and drinks (and we were the 4th in line... it was moving very slow, and every few minutes the girl working the register would go in the back and disappear for a minute or two). Several games were not working. But, there wasn't a sign or anything indicating they weren't working, so you'd scan your card and use your points... only to find out it didn't actually work. No one was watching the play area (as I said early, it was very understaffed, so I don't blame the few people who were there), so the pucks to the hockey table were missing several times, basketball and skeeballs were missing, etc. There were kids just taking them from the machines and no workers to stop it. Pizza was ok, but not nearly as good as it used to be. When we left, there was no one watching the door and checking stamps.. anyone could have walked out with anyone's kid. Overall, the kids had fun, and that's what matters. But, I truly believe, until you hire more employees, you should close. It makes it a stressful, and not fun experience for the parents. read more

The pizza was really good, very fresh ingredients! The lady that served me at the front was extremely nice and friendly, she wore a mask the entire time , very knowledgeable about her menu! They have a lot of Covid-19 safety procedures as soon you come inside you are ask to have your temperature taken, grab hand sanitizer, and a mask check the young lady said. I got my pizza Togo and the pizza box was a chuck e box durable not much grease bleeding from the bottom of the box. The pepperoni was worth the excitement and money. Overall super clean environment especially to be a kids place, also loved the spring decorations! Great food and great service! read more

I've only been to a few different chucky cheese locations, but this is a good one, it's small but not too small and has a lot of different game options. We can go for a few hours get pizza and play games and spend somewhere between 40 and 60 dollars. read more

Booked a party from 5-7pm. Didn't get play cards until 6:30 and food at 7. Paid 54.95 for 5 salads, only 2 people got lettuce for their salads in a 1 hour time frame. Staff didn't give one care and they ALL were very rude. Very disappointed and highly recommend going somewhere else. Hell maybe? When we pulled into the parking spaces, there were dirty diapers all over the parking lot spaces around CHUCKIE cheese. When we went inside we waited to for over an hour for a cashier, we ended up leaving and going somewhere else because the wait was way to long. read more

This was actually the new location on Hwy 280 but there was not a page available for that location as of yet. It had been awhile since I had taken the fam to a Chuck E Cheese's and I am still finding that for the price ordering a pizza from Papa John's and hitting up a playground is a much better experience. I went on a Friday about midday and it was super crowded. I assume it's probably always crowded so there is no avoiding that I suppose. The pizza was meh and the games at this location are the same old ones as the Hoover location. Nothing new and several were already in the standard Chuck E Cheese's malfunction mode. I was very pleasantly surprised when I took my family a few weeks ago, and we've been back three times since (as of this writing, I'm the Mayor on Foursquare--not sure what that says). The pizza is decent, but nothing special. The kids like it. I was especially impressed by the salad bar. I confess, I wasn't expecting much from a Chuck E. Cheese salad bar, but it's really excellent. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and it's a particularly good value if you have a coupon. The staff is very pleasant, and they're very generous with extra tokens should one of the games or rides eat one (I trust you won't take advantage of their generosity). I find that our 4yo and 2yo really enjoy the games and rides. It's a very affordable good time, and I hope to use Chuck E. Cheese tokens and tickets to teach the kids about saving and delayed gratification. It's going to be our default reward trip for when the kids earn a given number of stickers on their little sticker chart (they also dispense gratis tokens to kids who are making a special trip like this). Your "employee" little Miss Takaya obviously hates her job or maybe she doesn't like dealing with customers. I don't know. However, her attitude towards myself and others was unacceptable. She acted as if we were bothering her although she wasn't busy. My daughter and I came around 5:30 this evening which I figured was a great time to beat the crowd. We racked up a lot of tickets & my hands were full so I figured I'd ask for a bag. I asked Takaya for a bag & she careless said "ask her", pointing to the other cashier that was swamped assisting people that had just come in. Last but not least, she took her time coming to the counter to assist my daughter and I with getting her prizes. She let another guy jump in front of me and assisted him as if I was never there. This place is better than I remembered...the last time I was here the tokens were so expensive! Now you can buy a card and add time to it! This is great and works really well for younger (5-8yo) kids because you can tell them exactly how much time they have and limit their play and there is less whining and complaining at the end because they know it is time to leave. I'd like to preface with saying that, I apologize. It's been quite a long time since this happened to me, but I had to make myself be heard. Do not get me wrong, I've had the greatest times of my life inside of Chuck E. Cheeses, there's no question in that. I was there through it all. I remember being so young, maybe four or five, when I sunk the highest score into skeeball and at the same time I remember when my son beat me at the same game a few months ago, I was pissed but I was proud. i love my son, but I'll never forgive Chuck E. For what he did to us. The cheese felt more like nacho cheese and while I do love nacho cheese, on Mr. Cheese's paper thin crust it did not jump the boogie. Either it was the embarrassment of losing to my young son that really brought out how terrible the pizza was or it was just me, I cannot really tell. I just feel so much shame for Chuck E. Cheese and those hard peppironis. Why didn't you guys just let me win against my son. His mom already thinks I'm week, why don't you have some button i can press to win against my son? Complete garbage. The manager who gave out the toys reeked of pot. Most of the parents there looked like thugs. Grabby little hand were everywhere trying to snatch tickets from machines when we weren't looking. The worst part was that parents were watching this behavior and did nothing about it. Not just one family, but many. Very trashy people at this Chuck E Cheese. The only machines that gave out more than 3 tickets were occupied by adults with stacks of tickets. Things like the seat belts on kid rides were broken. Trash was stuffed in between machines. Never coming back to this location. read more

Why have three registers if you only ever open one. People lined up out the door; employees standing around idle; one register open. Sigh... Also, three different machines took my tokens. OK, I don't care about the money that much, but what a hassle....and on some level it is stealing. I mean if I stopped and tracked down an employee every time a machine took my money, we wouldn't have been able to play ANY games. They have a good many games that are good for kids and some that even us parents can enjoy. It can be a bit crowded at times but the workers do a decent job of watching the kids whose parents don't even care. That is my only dislike is the parents who come with kids under 8 and just let them "roam wild". However, that's the parents fault and not the establishments. read more

The pizza was okay, games were good but it was crowded. Employees very nice and attentive. We were taken back though by the kids that were there and the parents. Hardly none of the parents were watching their children and this was the very little ones maybe 3 to 4 years of age. I was shocked. The ones that were being watched, most, were rude, kids knocking kids away from games, stealing tickets, sitting at our table and drinking our drinks! Little kids with no parent watching them. I can really understand why this nation is like it is. Parents have got to wake up and teach their children right from wrong. It has got to start at home! Not all the children were like that though, some even tried to split their tickets with my daughter because they were not sure if the tickets were theirs or not.
