    Playground

This is an amazing playground. I was visiting my mom in Hoover and I really wish my town had a playground like this. A lot of unique things here you don't find at a typical playground. My 1.5 year old who usually gets bored fast at playgrounds didn't want to leave. It also is specifically designed with equipment for kids with disabilities. The best part is it has a splash pad that looked amazing, but unfortunately is only turned on in the summer. Can't wait to go back.

This is a great park with a splash pad. We where in town for a one night stop over and this was the perfect way for the kids to blow off some energy. Very clean park area and restrooms. Tons for the kids to do.

I cannot believe how beautiful this park and splash pad is! It looks really well kept and has something for all ages! 100% recommend to anyone in the Hoover area with kids.

There were a ton of children playing soccer on this lovely Sunday and it was fun to watch! Our little man scored at least 3 goals and the coaches were friendly, organized and excellent at encouraging the little ones! Unlike the soccer fields off of Columbiana Road, this park did not have food truck/s or restrooms and using a porta potty with a latch that doesn't work is not among my favorite things. Still, this is a great park, convenient to my stepdaughter's house with an excellent set up for her children's soccer games!

Summer it was nice and warm, winter they had to put up a bubble over the pool .... and needless to say it got a bit chilly to say the least. Pool area was always clean and they do a great job of actual pool maintenance. There are areas for walking as well as plenty of ball fields. There can be a ton of people here pending the time of year and what sports are currently active. Also, there is a really nice playground area for the kids. All in all this is about as nice of a park as you will find in any city area. They truly support sports related to the school systems locally. All in all just a great location. Worth checking out if you find yourself in the area sometime.

They have two full tennis courts that are decent and a half basketball court that is off to the side of the tennis courts and shares the same fenced in area. There is ample parking here at the park, but I can see how during large events that parking could become scarce. They have two lots; one is located by the tennis courts and other is shared with the Jewish Chabad Center next door. The main section of the park is completely fenced in and has a small picnic shelter with tables under it, a decent paved 2/10 of a mile walking trail, a restroom facility, benches, and a couple of picnic tables. There is a bunch of shade in this area and green space in the center where you could hold a picnic, play catch or relax on. You will also see a borrow a book box and a story trail in the are as well The are also has a playground area that is on a bed of wood chips and has traditional swings, toddler swings, tire swings, a medium sized jungle gym with a slide, A fire truck themed jungle gym with a couple of slides, a merry-go-round, and a jungle gym with monkey bars and rock climbing. The equipment is in decent shape and looked like kids would have a lot of fun here. Because the area is fenced in, it is popular for those with dogs. Even though they have many signs posted to tell you to keep your dogs on a leash, I saw a few people that did not while I was there. This is a very nice park that has a lot to offer. I love the shade that it has. Even though it is located off of a busy road, I still found it peaceful. This place is a diamond in the rough and you should really consider coming here if you are looking for a park to visit.
