They didn't bring an appliance dolly, and I SPECIFICALLY told them to be careful with the refrigerator so as not to tear the flooring -- and then they tore up the flooring in our brand new home. They did pay our repair person to fix this but there's no reason they should not have had the proper equipment to move the refrigator as it was on our inventory. We then found a dent in the door of said brand new refrigerator. We then discovered the master bedroom dressor is coming apart, and the drawers no longer work because of this. Also a brand new piece of furniture. They didn't handle things with care. They were in a hurry to get to their next job that afternoon, and quality suffered. They warned us beforehand, but I didn't heed their advice. Our bad. Now, we booked them for a local move. This time, we booked earlier! Ben & Braden arrived in time with a nice truck. They did a pre-inspection and got to work. LITTLE GUYS MOVING IS DIFFERENT. Every other moving company that we have used charges a fee, plus an hourly rate. Here, before the move you provide the contents and they quote you an exact price. I'm the end, the quoted price was EXACTLY what the bid was. Wow, no "juicing@ the bill. Also, we bought the contents insurance. It is reasonable and completely covers your contents. Otherwise, you are only covered by a few cents a pound as per law. They also wrapped the doorway to prevent door nicks, see pic. We recommend this company without any reservations.

Placed a quote request on Yelp and was bombarded with responses. A lot of the companies requested more information; some didn't respond. Spoke to one guy who said he would send a quote and never did. Richard Bailey gets 10 stars for price, communication; recognizing the sense of urgency and the crew he hired to complete my move. He actually texted me right away; then we spoke briefly. Based on the conversation he gave me a verbal quote and booked my move for the next afternoon. His crew showed up on time. We're very professional; had great personalities and got me moved in two and a half hours. Nothing was broken either. Assembled my washer and dryer too. One of the crew members even gave me decorative advice as I moved from a 2300 sq. ft. house to a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and my couch didn't initially look right where I thought it should be! CUSTOMER PLEASE BEWARE…read more I chose Veterans Best Movers because I'm active duty military and make a point to support veteran-affiliated businesses. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. I worked with Leif (owner/manager--unsure), who asked for photos of my move. I sent photos of my two-bedroom apartment and two small storage units, just like he requested. Based on that, he confidently told me 3 movers and 1 truck were sufficient, estimated ~8 hours, and quoted ~$1,600, saying it could vary depending on time. I even built in a reasonable cushion of +/- $500. That estimate wasn't just off -- it was GROSSLY wrong. About an hour into the move, the crew (who were excellent) asked, "Did they perform a walkthrough?" I said no, because Leif never requested one. They explained that with only three guys, the move would take much longer, likely require another truck or multiple trips, and get significantly more expensive. They told me directly more manpower and another truck should have been planned from the start. That's when it clicked: too small of a team + undersized truck = more trips, more hours, and a much higher bill. The move ended up requiring 2 additional movers and a second truck, took over 12 hours, and cost me OVER $3,200 -- DOUBLE the quote. That's not a small overage, that's complete incompetence in estimating. If you're quoting off photos, do it correctly. If you can't, require a walkthrough. That responsibility is on the company, not the customer. It gets worse. The crew told me a lamp shattered because it was left at the back of the truck and blown off by wind. They said someone would follow up. No one did... I had to call. When Leif finally contacted me, he immediately assumed it was due to my "packing" without even knowing what happened. He didn't ask. He didn't verify. He just blamed me. That was Leif's pattern -- zero ownership, zero accountability. Even after I explained his own crew told me exactly how it broke, he refused responsibility. He offered $40 (later $60) for a lamp worth several hundred dollars and part of a matching set, and said he "wouldn't have offered anything if the worker hadn't mentioned it," claiming they "don't cover items they don't pack" - despite not even knowing how it broke and that it was clearly due to how it was handled. At one point he said, "I'm not trying to be shady," which is ironic because that's exactly how this conversation felt -- shady and deflective. The workers were honest and professional, but if management operates like this, that's a serious issue. He also tried to lecture me on depreciation, which was completely irrelevant. When I addressed the grossly inaccurate quote, he first said, "well you had a lot of stuff." I reminded him he knew exactly what I had because I sent photos he requested. He then said "well, you were hard to get a hold of." Completely unrelated and honestly a pathetic pivot. He grossly under-quoted, sent too small of a team, and refused to admit it, costing me double, while trying to blame me. He ended the call with "it looks like we won't see eye to eye on this." To be clear: the crew was outstanding. This failure is entirely management. I'm leaving this so people know what they may experience: - Grossly inaccurate estimates - Major cost overruns - Damage not handled properly - Management that deflects blame and take zero accountability. If you use this company, demand a WALKTHROUGH and get everything in writing. Otherwise, expect serious risk.

Filed a complaint with Texas DMV…read more I hired Swift Movers LLC for a move in San Antonio on February 20, 2026. During the move, their crew wrapped and transported my 55-inch Samsung television, which was fully functional prior to the move. After unwrapping and powering it on at my new residence, I discovered severe panel damage, including cracking and vertical line distortion, ruining the TV. We observed the crew drop a plastic box containing personal belongings and drop our mattress, demonstrating careless handling practices. I booked the Basic Move option and was informed verbally that damage claims are considered on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my claim for replacement value was formally denied, citing lack of a specialty TV box and basic coverage. Attached are photos of the damaged television. Sharing my negative experience so others know what to expect.

Roy was incredibly nice on the phone and arranged to send two men on Monday morning. He and Josh arrived in Gonzales right on time, loaded up my stuff, drove an hour and a half to San Antonio, then moved me into my new apartment in under four hours. They also unloaded my parents' pick-up truck full of furniture and boxes. It was an absolute miracle. They were nice, efficient, and unbelievably strong. One of the pieces they moved was a 200+ pound dresser/vanity, and they made it look easy! I HIGHLY recommend Wrangler Moving! Day 2 they took 13 hours to move half of a house with two small trailers. They also had no tools and had to use ours (simple drills, screwdriver etc). Keep in mind we paid to have them disassemble and assemble in the one day move. They ruined a brand new mattress with grease hand stains, and did not put our front door back on hinges properly. And to boot...they quoted $4,700 for the move and then hit us with a $5,300 bill, saying their guys worked 30 mins over the quote. The main issue being that they took longer because we had to unpack and find our tools to allow them to use. ***edit to respond to Victoria*** This response is a perfect example of the miscommunication and lack of professionalism. Nobody ever requested to leave a tv up. The day of packing, my husband was playing Xbox and said "whenever yall need to pack this let me know and I'll shut this down". This is also when we discovered that they did not have any tools to remove the TV, so, the TV wasn't going to be removed either way that day. Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. My husband called the very next morning and left a voicemail for the owner that was never returned. This response and lack of accountability again proves why I would never recommend this company.
