The food was ok. The marinated meats stood out more and had good flavor. Don't see any option other than rice. The vegetables you order as whole where you have the option to decline mushrooms, onions or both. They come out with one thick slice of red and green bell, whole slice of onion and zucchini. Other places you order vegetables by the each not grouped. They have wings you can order as a side or as an all you can eat. Between the group we ordered 3 sides only to find out they were out with the exception with enough to serve one. You order through your phone. It gives you a number to keep your groups order separate, however 3 of us got the same number. Their main number also shares the link to the others. They're not really set up for groups. Each table has only one hot pot so might as well set as couples and leave the group for more established diners. You do pay upfront as well. Tip option is there but to be honest I don't feel the service was great. Since you pay first I did tip first. There are lots of tables, but don't worry it doesn't seem to be a place to fill up so they will have a chair for you. This is closer than Overkand Park so I had high hopes! A group of 9 of us and the place was empty on a Saturday at 4 and we left at 630 and still empty. My review isn't to be negative but an experience I hope the owners take away. When a group books its best to tell them then that tables do best with 4 at each one or even 2. Best to stay separate for order reasons. Be a great date night. Their register went to hand held and apparently can only work on one so that was interesting. We had to wait for the right device to be found. Would I go back? Let's Go BBQ was actually better than I expected it to be. It wasn't bad at all, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience overall. That said, the restaurant was completely empty when we went, with just our table there, which made the atmosphere feel a little quiet. One thing I found a bit unusual was having to pay before even eating. Personally, I'm used to paying after the meal, so that stood out to me. As for the concept, it just wasn't my favorite. If I'm paying to eat out, I don't usually want to cook my own food at the table. That said, I can understand the appeal and see why others might enjoy it more than I did. read more

The atmosphere reminds me of a mature yogurtini. By that, I mean it's empty, the workers are probably scrolling tiktok in the back, and it's self serve. We came at around 2 or 3pm. My fiancé and I walk into a fairly empty restaurant. We ring the bell at hostess table, the hostess arrives within seconds. From there, where I was expecting a rundown of the eating options, I was instead treated to "that will be *X* dollars". I found it very weird to be told how much we are paying before really knowing what we are having, but this is somewhat typical for a buffet. I didn't know if there was a time limit, so we rushed to get everything our first passthrough. I'm sure they could be a cutoff time, but I don't think that we would've hit it had we had instead grazed on the menu. You can order whenever, and I never got the sharing menu to work, it appeared to be an issue with the app, we shared the one phone. The food comes partially frozen and cooks fast. It's real easy to forget you're cooking while trying to eat and converse. It took a while to get the hang of cooking the food, mainly learning that you can just throw a lot up there with no issue. I was very hopeful for this because it meant we didn't have to drive to OP for Korean food/bbq. However, the quality of the meat/food was subpar. I know this place is new and what they can work on is service (more human touch points) and perhaps making the side dishes more authentic to Korean cuisine. Technology, like serving robots, should elevate service not take away from it. Their ordering service is through your phone, which can be difficult for a specific demographic. Adding a 12$ technology robot fee is not part of the customers responsibility. I came in expecting 70 to 80$. I paid 91$ at the end. The robot was severely behind on orders and I expected a waiter to help put orders out but no. Food was good. Would've loved to have seen veggie cakes. Would've loved to have a spoon with my rice instead of a fork. Let me share my first and last visit there. I had been eagerly anticipating their opening since I first saw the sign go up on the sign in front of the mall. I knew nothing about them, but I love Korean BBQ. I was excited to get a Korean BBQ in Independence. I read something on the internet that it was a chain and something about robots serving you. That sounded like a gimmick, but okay... When it had been open for a couple of weeks, my wife and I went there. We told the lady "table for two." Without responding she sort of sauntered off. We figured she was seeing where she wanted to seat us or something, but she wandered around aimlessly. No one else was in the restaurant. It was empty. We stood around for several minutes like this, wondering if we should just leave. Then another lady walked up and asked if we'd been helped yet. I pointed to the other lady and said, "I think she is?" When she went to talk to her, the first woman who greeted us told her "No." Apparently she was waiting for this other woman to take care of us, even though none of this had been communicated to us. It seemed odd, this is a newly opened restaurant, seems like more care would have gone into explaining to us what was going on. We never even got a "wait here just a moment." So this second woman tells us she needs a credit card on file before we can even order, along with our mobile phone number. That seemed weird. I gave her my debit card. Then we got seated. And with no real explanation about how this restaurant works, we are directed to scan a QR code at our table with our phones, which takes us to a website, where we have to order our food. The menu is pretty sparse. I saw none of the traditional entrees you'd find at a Korean BBQ place, what you get instead is a list of meats, like steak or chicken, vegetables, and some sauces you can order. Turns out, you are just going to be given whatever ingredients you order and then you are going to cook it on a small grill at your table. Before you order a single thing, the bill already showed $100, because it was $50 each for two people, all you can eat. No appetizers, no extras, just slabs of meat and teriyaki or soy sauce, and you cook it and eat it. I can do this at my own home for far less! Why would I come to a restaurant and pay $50 a person to cook my own food and basically be ignored by the staff? We got up and walked out. read more

Food was good. We were one of 3 tables at the time we dined. Service was OK. We ordered everything through an app. A service robot brought us our food to prepare. Waitress refilled our drinks. (that's it). We gave her a cash tip because we paid when we entered. Three days later the business had adjusted our receipt and added an additional $20.00 tip. I canned the guy who answered said he would get back to me. The next evening when I called to check he said the waitress never received a cash tip so we added $20.00. I contacted my bank. After 2 weeks I received notification from my bank they closed it because the business provided them the altered receipt. I didn't have the original receipt so they sided with the business. Food was by far the worst I've ever had, especially for Korean cuisine. The meat quality was extremely cheap, and there were barely any side dishes that actually tasted good. The whole atmosphere felt like a rushed cash grab rather than a real dining experience. What's frustrating is that Korean BBQ is hard to mess up when all you really need is good marinades and quality meat, yet somehow they managed to. Most of the meat was either completely inedible because of how tough it was or just barely tolerable. Spending nearly $80 for two people made the experience even more disappointing. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional. Our drinks were never empty. It's traditional Korean BBQ where you cook your food at your table. It's all you can eat, but you can only order 5 dishes at a time, which is absolutely fine. The portions were generous and the meat appeared freshly prepared.
