But then after another couple miserable sleepless weeks, my boyfriend found Pam Nease Sleep.  We worked with Sophie and I cannot speak highly enough of her. After a horrible first experience with a sleep consultant, she blew me away with her attentiveness, thoughtfulness and dedication to helping restore our family. She was with us every step of the way, answered all of my questions thoroughly and even helped with things I didn't think of. And contrary to what I originally thought, the phone calls were sooo valuable! I needed that support and reassurance. Now at first, I couldn't believe the price and thought there is NOOO way we are paying so much for a sleep consultant- ridiculous!! But let me tell you, you get what you pay for and the service they off at the level they offer it at is worth SO MUCH MORE! This is coming from someone who was totally against sleep training and thought the $300 I paid the other consultant was too much. Ha!  Sleep training was not easy- it was a Rollercoaster of emotions and bad nights. I hated it to be honest. But I would do it again (only with the help of Sophie though lol)! Because now our son sleeps through the night, takes long naps consistently and is back to being the happiest baby alive. And as new parents, we are much happier and healthier, better rested, back to working out and spending more time together because now we have the energy. We literally…read moretried every single trick in the book (co-sleeping, sitting, lullabies, CIO, even making the room freezing cold so they would stay in their beds) but my kids were still taking almost 2.5 hours to fall asleep very night after lots of threatening, screaming, and crying. We hesitated for 6 months because we didn't want to spend the money on something that wasn't guaranteed, but we finally gave in when nothing was getting better and I figured I could at least say that we tried everything (and maybe they'd return my money when they realized my kids were "lost causes" or the worst they'd ever seen? It was that bad...). Jessica was very friendly and understanding. She spent a lot of time asking questions about each child. Even she admitted that we had tried everything! I think some of the big tricks were setting our kids up for success even if it felt like we were doing the opposite (like moving the kids to sleep in separate rooms) and CONSISTENCY between both parents on the bedtime routine (from MOTN wake-ups to consequences). The biggest value to me was having Jessica there for specific questions at each phase of the sleep training process. You can read all the websites and books, but with no one there to answer your questions when your kid throws you a curve ball, you end up questioning/doubting yourself and, in our case, spouses may want to respond in different ways. Jessica was always flexible with us if we weren't comfortable doing something and was great with pivoting the plan to accommodate the progress of each kid. By the end, she really knew our kids and was as equally proud of them as we were! It took about 12 weeks but both of our kids sleep in their own rooms now and are quietly and willingly in bed by 8pm (just like in the movies!!!!!) I honestly never would have imagined how much my kids completely turned around like this! It is a LIFE CHANGER. I was having so much mom guilt and I literally DREADED bedtime every single night. Now the whole family knows what to expect for bedtime routine, my kids know how to fall asleep on their own (which is an important skill that they will have for the rest of their lives!), and they're overall happier kids with less meltdowns, outbursts, and midday crashes. I VERY HIGHLY recommend Pam Nease Sleep (and Jessica!) even if your kids aren't as bad as mine. Initially it felt bad/weird asking for this type of help because it's like admitting that we didn't know what we were doing and having to reveal all the wrong ways we were doings, but there was never even a judgmental tone from Jessica. She was so patient and kind and understanding through every step of the way. And there's nothing wrong with asking for help! Yet, those details seemed disregarded, as the feedback almost always boiled down to a generic "you'll have to let the baby cry," delivered in a reassuring but repetitive way. Months later, we're still struggling to get our child to sleep independently. We received no follow-up documents, no lasting framework, and no practical tools to help us move forward. After spending over $1,000, we were left feeling misled, frustrated, and uncertain about what to do next. If you're considering hiring Brandi, I urge you to think carefully. We contracted Brandi Jordan as a sleep consultant in June 2025 when we were in a truly desperate situation; I was hallucinating from sleep deprivation and suffering terrible postpartum depression. In hindsight, I figure that's how we fell for this. We paid over $1500 and here's what we got: a single one hour Zoom, a single 30 minute phone call about a week later (for which she was 20 minutes late), and 30-40 days of "text support," though there were several instances where she did not respond for three days despite our texts. I felt "left on read." To be fair to her, it was in our contract that this is what we could get: a one hour zoom, up to 3 follow-up calls and 30 days of text support. When I signed the contract, I did think this was sort of minimal, but I was desperate and figured "hey, maybe she can work magic." At our initial Zoom call, she said she had "never met a baby that couldn't sleep through the night after 2-3 weeks, max," so we were thrilled and hopeful! Now I know why this is true; she doesn't actually *meet* the babies- It's all virtual! She absolutely cannot work magic; please don't fall for this marketing that preys on desperate parents like we did. I feel stupid for having believed her. As other reviews have said, there is no individual tailoring, and the method she uses is essentially soft Ferberizing: letting the baby cry and cry with intermittent check-ins that get progressively longer. This was torture for all of us. Our baby was born extremely prematurely at 26 weeks and spent nearly 3 months in the NICU before coming home on oxygen. We did this contract when she was about 9 months old (6 months adjusted). We were obviously all still traumatized, and she had a lot of difficulty self-soothing at all. There was no troubleshooting about what how her and our individual situation might be contributing to sleep issues. Listening to her cry for 90 minutes in the middle of the night resulted in my self-harming several times (again, I had bad PPD). We did it though, because Brandi told us to. How it would work is that every morning we would text Brandi how the night went, and she would maybe respond that day saying something like "okay let's do that again" or "let's push this feed back 15 minutes" or something. A lot of the time she just wouldn't respond. I gave two stars because after the 30-40 days, our baby was sleeping a bit better than at the beginning (only 2-4 wakeups a night instead of 10). Additionally, this is way too expensive for such minimal support. You can find all this information online (Ferber with intermittent check-ins and dream feeds). Maybe if you have a normal or semi-easy baby this would work, but otherwise only time will help. Our baby is now 1 and wakes up about once a night every other night; only time got us here.

She really cares about moms and is there to talk to in case we just need someone to talk to. She is always open and willing to have a direct conversation without the fluff. Also any pediatrician will advise you not to do any type of sleep training before 6 months. I told her I wanted to keep at least 1 night feed. Dr. Choi, who did the laser treatment on his tie actually found that it was much tighter than they originally thought, so I'm thankful I did it. It was a few seconds and it was done. Adam cried and truthfully screamed a bit, but stopped the second it was done. He had already settled down by the time he was back in my arms and we went home. The post-op care was heavily stressed by Dr. Nguyen. She was very thorough and careful when explaining how to do his oral stretches. She emphasized that the post-op care wasn't just his mouth, but his whole body. She was so incredibly knowledgeable on how the body functions as a whole and how it all ties together, so the movement and stretching of his mouth and entire body is all important. I'll be honest and say that I didn't want to do any of it because my cooter was healing and I was still in pain from just coming home from giving birth. It was all very fresh. But I looked at my baby and decided I'm his mom and this is my responsibility. Every single day for the next 3 months, I set aside the bare minimum of 5 minutes but realistically it took 15 minutes to do thorough movement for my son. I put in the work. I took videos and sent them to Dr. Nguyen and she would give me feedback. Call me crazy but my son was and is an "easy" baby.
