Would I recommend Brandi Jordan as a sleep consultant? Not unless you're a celebrity or have thousands of dollars to waste. For the average parent, you'll likely spend thousands of dollars only to end up back where you started--with vague, generic advice you could easily find online and some added reassurance. Brandi's approach offers little to no long-term guidance. She works on a day-by-day basis without providing written materials or a structured plan to follow, which makes it nearly impossible to build consistency once the sessions end. It feels like being handed a toolkit for a toy bike when you're trying to fix a kitchen sink, completely mismatched and ultimately unhelpful. Throughout our experience, she asked for detailed information about our child's sleep schedule, feeding patterns, and behaviors, which was time-consuming to document. Yet, those details seemed disregarded, as the feedback almost always boiled down to a generic "you'll have to let the baby cry," delivered in a reassuring but repetitive way. Months later, we're still struggling to get our child to sleep independently. We received no follow-up documents, no lasting framework, and no practical tools to help us move forward. After spending over $1,000, we were left feeling misled, frustrated, and uncertain about what to do next. If you're considering hiring Brandi, I urge you to think carefully. Save your time, energy, and resources. Look for a consultant who offers structured support, written guidance, and consistent follow-through; not someone whose attention is divided elsewhere. Parents deserve more than being treated like another number in the queue. Updated response to Brandi... I actually worked with you in April 2025, and communication stopped soon after the contract period ended. We followed your instructions exactly as outlined. Not every child responds the same way, and sometimes a more individualized approach is necessary, but it became clear you didn't have the time or availability to provide that level of support. read more

TW: postpartum depression, prematurity, self-harm There's a reason there are very few reviews more recent than 2021, and they are negative. We contracted Brandi Jordan as a sleep consultant in June 2025 when we were in a truly desperate situation; I was hallucinating from sleep deprivation and suffering terrible postpartum depression. In hindsight, I figure that's how we fell for this. We paid over $1500 and here's what we got: a single one hour Zoom, a single 30 minute phone call about a week later (for which she was 20 minutes late), and 30-40 days of "text support," though there were several instances where she did not respond for three days despite our texts. I felt "left on read." To be fair to her, it was in our contract that this is what we could get: a one hour zoom, up to 3 follow-up calls and 30 days of text support. When I signed the contract, I did think this was sort of minimal, but I was desperate and figured "hey, maybe she can work magic." At our initial Zoom call, she said she had "never met a baby that couldn't sleep through the night after 2-3 weeks, max," so we were thrilled and hopeful! Now I know why this is true; she doesn't actually *meet* the babies- It's all virtual! She absolutely cannot work magic; please don't fall for this marketing that preys on desperate parents like we did. I feel stupid for having believed her. As other reviews have said, there is no individual tailoring, and the method she uses is essentially soft Ferberizing: letting the baby cry and cry with intermittent check-ins that get progressively longer. This was torture for all of us. Our baby was born extremely prematurely at 26 weeks and spent nearly 3 months in the NICU before coming home on oxygen. We did this contract when she was about 9 months old (6 months adjusted). We were obviously all still traumatized, and she had a lot of difficulty self-soothing at all. There was no troubleshooting about what how her and our individual situation might be contributing to sleep issues. Listening to her cry for 90 minutes in the middle of the night resulted in my self-harming several times (again, I had bad PPD). We did it though, because Brandi told us to. How it would work is that every morning we would text Brandi how the night went, and she would maybe respond that day saying something like "okay let's do that again" or "let's push this feed back 15 minutes" or something. A lot of the time she just wouldn't respond. I gave two stars because after the 30-40 days, our baby was sleeping a bit better than at the beginning (only 2-4 wakeups a night instead of 10). Additionally, this is way too expensive for such minimal support. You can find all this information online (Ferber with intermittent check-ins and dream feeds). Maybe if you have a normal or semi-easy baby this would work, but otherwise only time will help. Our baby is now 1 and wakes up about once a night every other night; only time got us here. read more

This isn't a review on Brandi, but on the company itself. I booked a home visit for a lactation consultant for my 2.5 week old and the whole time I was led to believe that Brandi would be the one coming (it was even confirmed in the appointment booking and scheduling emails). However, when someone else showed up at my door, I still welcomed her with open arms because I was desperate for an LC. The session went ok, but didn't help resolve any of my issues. And for $300/session and not have the person you booked come was extremely disappointing. Based off of all the previous reviews, Brandi seems great, but just be aware of who is coming for your visit. I also wish that the company was more communicative in who they were sending as the executive assistant later on told me Brandi was out of town. read more

First I want to thank them for being available on a Sunday. I had a rough night with my newborn and because of my hormones I know now that added to me feeling overwhelmed and could not wait til Monday. Brandi reached out to me right away and we confirmed a time. During her in home visit she helped me get my son to relatch. But more importantly she made me feel relaxed and reassured me that we were doing well. As a new mom who is sleep deprived and with hormones all over the place her approach and gentle touch was appreciated. Over the next few days she also followed up which was nice. Took a prenatal breast feeding class here. The instructor was Hannah. The structure of the class was informal so there were plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions. As an expectant mommy of twins, she was very knowledgeable and patient about answering specific questions related to twin feeding. If we have trouble we will likely hire one of their consultants to help us with the process. We have great confidence in them. read more

The Cradle Company saved my sanity. Seriously. Last year, I gave birth to my treasured little baby, who was quite frustrated with breastfeeding. Hannah and the breastfeeding support group provided me with an environment that helped me to persist through that tough transition period... my frustrated baby eventually became a champion at the breast (so much so that she weaned herself off of the bottle)! If you are looking for or even considering lactation support, this is the place to be. In addition to breastfeeding support, I've also been through the childbirth education class. It was well done and not prescriptive... it was truly informative, the way I would expect a childbirth education class to be, and supportive of the diverse birth plans people may have. read more

I'm very confused about the reviews here about Brandi's sleep consultations. We paid a small fortune for help getting our 1-year-old to sleep better (frequent waking, inability to fall asleep without significant assistance). Brandi basically gave us the Sleep Easy Solution, and I suppose it was useful to have someone to guide us in a more hands-on way. But we had hoped for something prescriptive (for the price, I expected Brandi to tell us what to do step by step) and instead she left a lot of the process up to us. If we knew what to do, we wouldn't have needed to hire a sleep consultant. Each day we would email Brandi the previous night's sleep report and most days (not all) she would respond, often not until after we'd gone to bed which meant we didn't always have a plan for the night. Our child made some progress in the time we had with Brandi but absolutely is not all the way there. And now we have no strategy to go forward with. Because here's the weirdest part: at some point we just never heard back from Brandi. Emailed several times and no response. And that was it. No go-forward plan, no "thanks for your business and good luck," nothing. Not to harp on the money, but come on. For that price I expect at least a courtesy note to say our time is up. My advice is to save your money, buy a few sleep books, and trust that your child will learn to sleep when they're ready. read more

We hired Brandi to help sleep train our daughter when she was 4 months old, and it was one of the best investments we made. Before we began sleep learning, my husband and I would have to take turns bouncing our daughter on an exercise ball to get her to fall asleep. Transfering her into her crib was a nightmare as half the time she would wake up and demand to keep bouncing. Our backs were aching, and needless to say we weren't sleeping. We originally tried to train her ourselves using The Sleep Easy Solution, and it worked at first. However, our little one began to struggle after a couple of weeks, and we couldn't figure out what was going on. We needed help. Brandi came in and immediately put us at ease. Rather than impose a system on us, she created a program based on our needs and goals. (We wanted something much more gentle than the regular CIO.) She is also available by phone day or night! There were several times during the training that we had to phone or text her in the middle of the night, and she always got back to us right away. It was such a relief to know that if we encountered a problem, Brandi could help us see our way through it. Our little one is now one year old, and she sleeps like a dream. Helping our daughter learn how to fall asleep on her own is a life long skill and probably the first "hardest" thing we had to do as parents. Cheryl--not sure of her official title--but she's just the type of woman you want around your babies. She guides us through yoga while charming our children and then shows up with her own adorable grandson to further exemplify how great she is with babies. We've taken Baby Sign Language classes as a family (yes, Dads are frequent patrons, too!), Mommy + Me classes, Yoga classes, and enjoyed various playgroups and special events. The boutique carries wonderful brands (love my TWO K'atans and Mrs. Patel's tea!). The Cradle Company will soon be expanding to include pre- and post-partum massage, acupuncture, etc. as well. Our sleep consultation with Brandi changed our lives. I get that this sounds dramatic, but after not sleeping for almost two years, sleeping again was pretty dramatic. While I absolutely support all parents in however they chose to sleep train or not sleep train their babies, I was not personally comfortable doing any sort of Cry-It-Out practice with my son, and Brandi was able to guide us into a healthier sleep situation that suited our lifestyle and parenting styles. She is very knowledgable and was a delight to work with. I have already recommended her services to almost a dozen sleep deprived new parents, as I know they will not be disappointed and will get what they need. Brandi is also a very prominent and positive role model and leader amongst many Mom groups out in L.A, and I feel very ethically sound in supporting her and her business. I can't say enough good things about this company and retail store. I went there based on a recommendation from a friend to get fitted for a nursing bra. It was the day before I was scheduled to give birth and I was helped by Evonne. On our way out, we asked about their newborn care specialist services. Because of a health condition for both my husband and me, I was looking for someone to assist with our newborn at night. After our LO was born, I called the Cradle Company and they suggested a newly trained night nurse, aka newborn care specialist. It happened to be Evonne who helped me when I first came in the store. We met with Evonne and knew she was a good match for us. We hired her to assist us at night when our baby was 2 weeks old. She was professional, knowledgable and so helpful. We had one particularly difficult evening with the LO projectile vomiting. Evonne took the utmost care with him, helped my husband take the baby's temperature and suggested we see the pediatrician the next morning. Luckily, the baby was fine, - just new parent anxiety. Our baby is now 8 weeks old and Evonne has helped us through some of the more sleepless nights. Thanks to her I was able to get much needed rest and I've greatly enjoyed being a first-time mom having slept! If you are looking for assistance with your LO, I highly recommend this company. Besides the many wonderful things that The Cradle Company has to offer, such as classes for infants and toddlers, wonderful, safe products, and amazing advice, they also offer training for childcare professionals. I just found out about the specialized career of being a Newborn Care Specialist two weeks ago. I searched for trainings in the L.A. area and found that The Cradle Company had a training the following weekend. I called and spoke with Hannah who answered all my questions with such professionalism that I was impressed right off the bat. It worked out so well that I could register over the phone on the spot. On Saturday, I was greeted by Yvonne who was so welcoming and friendly. Oh my gosh - I wish I would have hired Brandi sooner for help with our third baby's lack of sleep. I tried and tried for 6 months and finally called Brandi. This review is wayyy over due! I stopped by after I found them on facebook and saw a post about The infamous Amber teething necklaces and was so excited that they had them in stock and they were actually Authentic and from a trustworthy brand. Not a random reseller on Amazon. After I walked in with my daughter, It was actually hard for me to leave. I was told about all of the events and classes they held, learned about essential oils and even got to pick up last minute products from The Honest Company that I didn't have to pay shipping for. I attended the Mommy and me Yoga class they held and even invited a fellow mommy to join me and we had a lovely time working out with our babies. At the end of the class all of the Mommy's stuck around to breast feed their babies and socialize. My daughter was 6 months old and refused to nurse for about 2 months, resulting in poor milk supply with a needy infant refusing to let me pump regularly. My daughter actually let me nurse her while socializing with all the mommies but I had voiced my trouble with my supply and Brandi happened to be there when the class ended and she recommended these lactation bars which SAVED MY LIFE! I had so much guilt for not being able to exclusively breast feed that I often cried about it. Those Fenugreek bars made a dramatic difference even have already been on fenugreek vitamins and more milk plus pills. They even help you heal faster after labor and I give them to all of my family and friends when they have a new baby. I now plan on spending a few hours every time I go because their staff are just so nurturing and helpful that I need that time to learn about the latest products from them since they always stay on top of the latest and greatest! read more

We first met Brandi and The Cradle Company almost 3 years ago when our daughter was having terrible sleep problems. Brandi really took the time to find out about what was going on and to create a step by step plan--starting all the way from getting our daughter to nurse better--to help get her (and us) sleeping through the night. Since then, we have come to Brandi and The Cradle Company for help with issues from nursing to sleeping to parenting. Most recently, they helped us find the perfect night nurse to help after the birth of our son, and Brandi answered all of our many questions about how to navigate our toddler's sleep in the process (when to get her out of diapers at night, when to change out of the crib, how to handle night wakings around the birth of the baby, etc, etc!) Invaluable! Last, I also find the products that The Cradle Company sells to be very well researched: of good quality and good design. It's really nice to be able to buy something and know it's passed the tests of Brandi and her staff, who really know babies AND parents. We hired Brandi to help us with our son's sleep... Or lack thereof. I never wanted to "sleep train" our boy. I wasn't a fan of CIO so I was nervous the only way to sleep train was going to cause trauma to myself and our baby. After six months of no sleep and meeting Brandi in person I decided to give it a shot. We met with Brandi at her store and came up with a game plan that perfectly catered to our son's needs and our comfort level. Though it was gradual, the plan worked exactly the way Brandi said it would along every step of the way... Teething included! She was always available via text to answer our dumb questions and reassure us when we needed it. We now have a baby that sleeps from 7:30-7:00, I never dreamed that would be possible! My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner... A note on the store... Perfection. Unfortunately I found the cradle company when my son was 6 months so I had already stocked up on most of the essentials but this store carries every product I know and love from the cloth diapers to the bath products. When the CC opened down the street from me, 8 weeks postpartum, it was a Godsend. The cute retail space has everything you need - from carriers to honest products to homeopathic remedies. I called Brandi, the owner, yesterday about needing a lactation consultant as I was having much challenges with breastfeeding. Brandi had Hannah contact me and we set up an appointment for the next day. Hannah was even willing to come the same evening, but I was too exhausted having just been released from the hospital that day. I had delivered 4 days ago. Here it was the next day out of the hospital, exhausted and overwhelmed with a stranger in my home, but I felt immediately comfortable with Hannah. She was professional, knowledgeable, and had great advice. She explained the process and answered all my questions. You could tell she really cares about infants and wants to genuinely help. After our session, she said we would follow up in 2 days on the phone, which I really appreciated. Today we had a private childbirth class with Hannah and can't express how thankful we are for her help. We just found out we'll be adoptive parents of a baby girl due in less than two weeks and urgently needed to connect the birthmother with childbirth education. Hannah went out of her way to meet with us on short notice. She has been so empathic as a fellow adoptive parent and was sensitive to our unique situation throughout the entire class. We feel like not only did we choose the right class, but we've found a resource/ community that we hope to stay connected to. I had a phenomenal experience here today! I've been struggling with breastfeeding my newborn for the past 3 weeks and Brandi was a Godsend. Setting the lactation consultation appointment was a breeze and both she and Hannah were extremely accommodating. Their lactation room was very cozy and I felt super comfortable. I was able to feed my baby for pretty much the first time within about 30 minutes of being there. The experience was beyond my and my husbands expectations. We were exhausted parents of a 1 year old just a few months ago. Our child was still in our room and often in our bed. No one was sleeping well. I came across Brandi's information and decided it was worth a try to sleep train our child. I think it was the best money we have spent on our child since his birth! My husband was dubious at first but now he tells everyone what a great experience it was. The truth was that we were too exhausted to come up with a plan on our own but Brandi did it for us and coached us all the way through the process. I recently went through The Cradle Company to sleep train my daughter. I had the best experience working with Brandi. My little one bed shared pretty much from birth and sleep training thing was incredibly daunting but I knew we were ready. I'm so glad my friend referred me to Brandi. We had a consult with Brandi in which she learned about my husband, myself, our daughter, and our home/sleep/day to day situation. We tailored a sleep plan that worked for us and that we were comfortable with. Once we began, it was a process and not always an easy one. Brandi was always there though, to answer my questions, to give me feedback, and to gently guide us along. My daughter now sleeps through the night, in her crib, as well as naps in her crib. I truly never thought that would happen. Brandi instilled faith in me that I had the tools to help my daughter. She was there to reassure me when I felt I was doing something 'wrong'. She steeled my nerves at 3 am when I wasn't sure how to deal. She played a major part in my daughter's amazing evolution and journey to independence and for that, I will be forever grateful! read more

We first retained Brandi's services when our daughter was 10 months old. My husband was really enthusiastic about sleep training and I was not. At all. Brandi, we were told, came from a very loving but firm approach to sleep training that had it's foundation in attachment. I was curious but doubtful that sleep training could be anything but absolutely traumatic, which all of our prior attempts with books and videos had been. Brandi was a lifesaver, seriously, a marriage saver too. At the time that we contacted her our 10 month old daughter was waking up 4-5 times a night and since we didn't co-sleep I was going in every time and nursing her back to bed and I was exhausted. I was desperate for help. The help that Brandi gave us was extremely doable and never felt traumatic. It was hard, at times, but I always felt that it was loving. It took longer than most sleep books promise, but I believe it was well worth the extra time for me and my peace of mind. I highly recommend her to all my friends with new babies that are struggling with the sleep dilemma. What I didn't expect when we hired Brandi, was that she would continue to be a resource for us as our daughter grew. I have reached out to her on several occasions over the years about things other than sleeping; like weening, teething, traveling, and transitioning to a toddler bed. Most recently, however, I contacted her in a slight panic as our almost 3 year old had suddenly become a raving lunatic at bed time- scared and screaming. It was horrible. We went from having the most serene wonderful bedtime routine that always worked to scratching our heads in total confusion. Brandi immediately responded to my email and we had a great chat where she gave me some very specific action items to try. A week later our daughter is back to bed as usual. It was amazing. The Cradle Company prenatal classes are invaluable. Hannah does an incredible job covering the breadth and depth of material and also creates a very comfortable environment which enables candid and important conversations. My husband and I knew very little about the early signs of labor, the stages of labor, what to expect at the hospital, etc. After every class we left feeling more empowered to make decisions about what we wanted our birth to be like while also recognizing that at the end of the day much is beyond your control. Hannah never preached. She always provided information in an objective fashion. We feel very lucky to have attended these classes and could not recommend them more! read more

I was referred to The Cradle Company by a friend as I was struggling with breastfeeding. I felt like my son was not getting enough breast milk and I didn't want to jump into giving him formula. My friend suggested to go to their lactation consultations for support. She had rave reviews and confidence in the services they offer as she was also going to them. Upon my first visit, I felt very comfortable and safe with Hanna. She helped my baby and I with our breastfeeding struggles. She was very warm and knowledgeable which boosted my confidence as a first time mom. After that first visit, I went every week for a little over a month gaining more knowledge and confidence in how to best help feed my son, and to find out whether I was producing enough breast milk. During that time, I also met Brandi, who was equally warm and knowledgeable, and helped support my son and I along our beginning journey together. So, if you are struggling with where to go or have questions about breastfeeding, stop by The Cradle Company. It's a really awesome place! It's super clean, they offer a personalized support, and you get to meet other mom's who are going through the same thing. Yay, thanks again Brandi and Hanna. This is a long overdue review, but we definitely wanted to write a positive review regarding our experiences with Hannah. My wife and I took a childbirth class with Hannah and we walked away from that class feeling much more relaxed and confident about having our first baby. Hannah is very knowledgeable about childbirth and aims to educate parents on making the right decision for their families when it comes to deciding how to give birth and asking the right questions with the doctor. Hannah respects each parent's beliefs and perspectives and does not impose her own beliefs on anyone. She creates a very open and comfortable atmosphere in her classes. I visited The CC several weeks ago to purchase a sling for my newborn. After weeks of trying to use said sling, unsure of whether I was doing it correctly, I was beyond thrilled to see they were offering a baby wearing class. The class was incredible and I left feeling SO confident about my baby wearing skills. The teacher, Laura, was so knowledgeable and warm. Can't wait to attend more classes, keep em' coming! read more
