    I used to get my house cleaned by Let's Clean starting in 2015 and they always did such a great job. I moved out of state and came back this summer and contacted them for regular cleaning again and the 4 times they have been here was so unsatisfactory. The photos I've attached are immediately after they've "cleaned" my apartment the last time they were here. As you can see, there are some spots in the apartment where it looks like it was NEVER cleaned during the 2.5 months I was getting serviced from them. You can tell they don't lift up the trashcan in the kitchen to clean under it, behind it etc. They don't lift up the fruit basket to clean the debris and other stuff that gets caught there throughout the week. Basically anything on countertops they don't move, they just wipe around everything. What is even the point. And then there are the floors. One time I walked out of my office to the lady mopping the floors and she was barely grazing the floor with the mop. She was just kind of waving it back and forth with one hand and trying to get my cat's attention with the other hand. Like what in the world lol Then there are the towels and the pillows - I swear they spend half their time here playing with my pillows and folding the towels hotel style. Sometimes they even fold the ends of the toilet paper. It's like they're playing house, rearranging my pillows and throws. I've told them many times specifically when I let them in to NOT TOUCH MY BED OR THE COUCH and to just focus on cleaning the floors and the bathroom but no, every time they leave and I walk out of my office they've fluffed my comforter and have rearranged my pillows. How does that help me. THE WORST PART is that I've texted Marlyn the photos and more and all the spots they've missed and I asked her to call me when they have time. No call but that evening I get an invoice lol. Then two weeks later, they ask me if I'm expected them the next day for my regular cleaning. Obviously there is no professionalism here. But reading the reviews here for the first time, it looks like their quality has been on the decline as of recent months. Anyone in the NoVa area looking for new cleaning service, Amazon just started servicing this area with cleaners. They do an amazing job and it's cheap af. Just go to Amazon they're taking over the world anyways.

    I am really torn about let's clean. Used their services for my move out cleaning and managed to use the Yelp deal so at least the damage done was not as painful. The good: The cleaning ladies when they finally arrived did a pretty thorough job with some exceptions (see the bad). They took general direction well and most of the house was pretty spotless especially the oven and the bathroom. The bad: Told the cleaning lady specifically to clean the inside and out of the refrigerator. Well I guess she was so literal that she cleaned the inside and out of the fridge section but not the freezer. Not sure if I should laugh or cry with this. The really UGLY: Called on Tuesday to schedule my cleaning appointment on Friday 3/18/2016 . Was given the time slot of 10am-1030am. At 1030am I receive a random text asking if I am expecting their services. Strange ok .. I text back and say yes and called the number and the lady said it was a courtesy reminder they were still coming. 11am- no one is here okay... Called them the lady answering the call says she would call me back to let me know what's going on with the cleaners. Instead texts me and say they will come at 12 as they are running late .... Okay.... 12noon comes and goes and then I get a text saying the first house is taking longer than expected will 145pm be alright . 3hours waiting and I don't have a choice as im moving out . What can I do but wait. 1.45pm comes and goes by this time I am really annoyed. I call the number that was texting me and the company phone number one picks up . Then I get a text apologizing and say she will get the ladies to my place as soon as possible. Clearly the individual did not want to pick up my call after making me wait for 3 hours but decides that texting would be a safer option. Wait wait wait ... The ladies finally arrive at 2.45pm. Just 4 hours late that's it ... After the whole ordeal I texted the number that I was going to use the Yelp deal for my cleaning and that was paying by credit card. I requested for the invoice to be sent to me by email address (gave my email address in the text) before I go ahead with payment. I had an acknowledgement reply that it will be sent right now. 1 week later... Nothing ... Then I get a reminder text today 3/25/2016 from the number about settling the invoice that never came through. I requested for them to double check on their end as nothing came through. They email me promptly after this time but with the wrong name on the invoice. At least they were fast this time around to reissue the invoice when I requested it. Summary: I guess if you are REALLY not in a rush or you just need them to do your day to day cleaning that might be fine. They did do a good job in cleaning, I can't say so much about the entire ordeal. If you don't have much patience you may be in for a long ride. I'm sure they are trying their best but for me this really wasn't the best experience.

    The house was truly clean. I could not have done it better myself. Only some scheduling hiccups kept me from giving 5 stars. Also, the women who cleaned it must have taken the knobs off my stove. One fell down my drain and was subsequently ground to bits when I ran the disposal, not realizing what would happen. I complained about this, and was told it would be looked into, but I never heard back. All in all, the house was VERY CLEAN from the first visit and stayed clean for months.

    The cleaners were late for my scheduled cleaning, and did not inform me until after the scheduled time of 1 PM.

Being called a racial slur ( nigg*r) and referred to as "the Black girl" is completely unacceptable. I don't care if they follow up now . It's not how you handle a business . Your employees should be a representative of you . Although I never used their services, the way this business handled the situation was extremely disappointing. I never received a follow-up call, email, or text regarding my complaint. I know my message was received because the employee contacted me with threats after I reached out to the business. I even offered to provide the messages as proof. It has been over a month with no response or accountability, so I feel it's important to leave this review. If you are Black or African American, I would strongly reconsider using this business. Update respond back to the owner . You did not reach out regarding this at all, either personally or professionally. She works for you and is a reflection of your business. So, in other words, you're saying she's allowed to make racial comments as long as they weren't directed at a customer? You haven't returned a single call or spoken with me to even review the evidence I have. That evidence includes three separate police reports all stating the same thing, as well as Facebook messages containing racial slurs. You took her word and that was the end of it . Doing a FULL investigation would require both parties and speaking with the person with the complaint. It shows how you treat black people . That response alone shows the type of business you choose to stand behind. No worries, though. My review will remain posted.

Bathroom cabinets still had hair from previous owner inside, fridge has sauce on the shelves that was not scrubbed off, and the kitchen cabinets had glass that was still there from a broken bottle or appliance. Would not recommend if you need a deep clean.

    I want to update my review, because I've heard from Ryan from the corporate office. While they did…read morenot provide good cleaning in my home, they have tried to make things right. They issued a full refund and offered numerous apologies. They said that they are using this experience to train their staff, and I hope that is true. They also said this experience was a one-off, and based on all the reviews I've seen, I will take them at their word. While my cleaning experience with them was poor, I can appreciate how hard they've worked to make things right. I didn't want or need a full refund, but I'm glad they decided to do the right thing and give that to me. It speaks to the character of the business. While I cannot give their cleaning services anything more than a 1/5 stars, I will say their customer service and response have been 5/5. Truly exemplary. Thank you Ryan, for your customer care. The result was SO MUCH more. In addition to making everything look better than when I moved in (awesome baseboards, tub, and stove cleaning) the team made some adjustments to my space that made a real difference. They recommended for instance, moving my trash can to the other side of my kitchen for easier reach, and now I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm also very impressed by how professional and respectful the team was. This was the first time I've invited cleaners into my home and I was nervous about what the experience would be like. All the worries were nothing because I couldn't have had a better experience.
