I ordered 2 pair of these crap-ass gloves from this company (Less EMF). I was expecting to receive some heavy duty protective gloves, but instead what I got was a useless pair of wimpy gloves that won't protect your hands from cell phone radiation of any kind! I had a pair of shielded Gloves when I lived and worked in Hawaii. Those gloves were made of thick, heavy-duty material coiled around the fingers. In addition, there are no instructions, no directions, no suggestions or anything accompanying these gloves. How long can I wear them? Where should I store them when not in use?? Bought 2 i-brain airtube stereo headsets from them for $40+ shipping. One for myself and one for my daughter. Both of us can not use them at all. The sound is horrible... impossible to use them for more than a few minutes... everyone sounds like they're in a cave. Can't listen to music since it's totally distorted and the buds fall out of both of our ears. Maybe we have a genetic disposition against these headsets? Piece of crap. Beyond disappointed. Waste of money. I also bought 2 laptop pads for like $100 each. Not sure if they do what they say they do, so can not comment on it. However, given the experience with the headsets, I have my doubts. I truly don't understand the poor reviews here. I have been buying from lessemf for several years, ever since i discovered my sensitivities. I have also consulted for people in their homes using meters I have purchased both from lessemf and amazon (I am an expert in related fields). The negative reviews here sound honestly like very neurotic (which I understand given how emf can affect neurology) people who have zero understanding of the differences between magnetic and electric fields, and clearly do not read the detailed scientific descriptions of emfs or the products on less emf's website. Some seem to not understand the near field principle in that you cannot block certain emfs in close range without specific shielding. Others appear to confuse magnetic and electric fields, and have no idea they are interrelated, but very different, and logically require different approaches to shielding them. Emil the owner, has always been very soft spoken when I called in orders in the past. I would imagine he gets lots of unusual customers who are arm chair experts with a lot of fear. He probably knows after all these years that some of them are just not worth dealing with. I don't blame him. Some of my consulting clients for emfs could be ultra unusual and some would promise to pay the world to get work started for them, but once they obtained the information they needed would turn perplexed at why I would not give them a pass on paying some of the fees. People with a lot of fear, without the income to pay for the services they want. There is no business to be had there so why service them? The fact that Emil does not reply to the strange reviews on this page (which call his business strange ironically) is a testament to his restraint and character. I had a great experience with Less EMF. I bought thier BlocBag that is used for sleeping. Los Angeles has WIFI spouting from every inch and it would be great to know that atleast 7 hours of my day are free from that barrage! There was an afiliate that i had some issues with and Less EMF took it over and made sure i got my shipment even though they had to lose money on the sale. I would order direct from them! This is the strangest company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I ordered approximately $2,000 from this company in the period of one month but they decided to "no longer do business with me". Less EMF shipped me a Gigahertz Solutions gaussmeter with a Safe Living Technologies sticker on it so I asked them if they are both owned by the same person or company. Apparently they got upset because they didn't respond to my email and the next order I placed for three shirts they didn't ship and gave me no notice about the order. After sending 2 emails (because they usually don't respond right away) they told me "Management has decided to no longer do business with you moving forward." with no further explanation or shipment or refund. I asked them "Why? Is it because I left you the positive review on the BBB website? Or because I asked you why you put your competitions sticker and website address on the products you sell?" They didn't respond. So now I have to call my credit card company and dispute the charge for an order they don't want to ship. I contacted Safe Living Technologies and they responded in less than 30 minutes that they are the North American distributors for Gigahertz Solutions and deal with all warranty issues so that is why their sticker is on the product. Apparently Less EMF purchases the Gigahertz Solutions meters from Safe Living Technologies. Its nice that Safe Living Technologies actually gives you a response, unlike Less EMF who bans a customer for asking the same question. I was trying to replace the first two t-shirts Less EMF sent me because one shirt fell apart after 2 washes in their detergent and hang drying it. The second shirt they shipped me was the wrong size. Their shopping cart was adding the wrong shirt size each time, but after my second email they finally did respond to tell me their shopping cart was working fine because again they often don't respond the first time. I'm still unclear how a shopping cart that adds the wrong product is working fine. When I mentioned the shirt falling apart they stated these are third party products and they are not responsible for what they sell. I tried their socks but they made my feet so itchy I had to take them off after 6 hours and my feet kept itching for the next couple days. I scratched them so much I ended up with bloody cuts all over my feet. I tried their Stetzer filters at my parents house and the next day my dad had a seizure (he hadn't had a seizure for over 6 months) and my mom got sick. I asked them if this could be related and they stated the Stetzer filters give off their own emf frequencies different from dirty electricity and they aren't doctors so they don't know if this is connected. When I asked them if their window tint works on cars they told me they aren't allowed to give advice on tinting windows on a car. Since tinting car windows is perfectly legal and something every car manufacturer does that seemed odd they won't give you help on doing something legal with their product. When I tested all their fabric with the gaussmeter I purchased it appeared to not block any emf. When I contacted Less EMF they told me I had to buy a different meter to do the testing for the fabric, but I got 2 different responses from two different people recommending 2 different meters to do the testing and wasn't really sure what to think about this any longer. Of course their website doesn't explain how to use any of these products at all or barely provides an accurate description for most of their products. I asked Less EMF who owned the company because the state of New York doesn't publicly post this information and Less emf doesn't have any information about their company owners, managers or employees on their website and they wouldn't tell me other than to say that Dr Kinghardt doesn't own them. I asked because they shipped me the gaussmeter with Safe Living Technologies sticker on it, Dr Klinghardt has pics of himself on Safe Living Technologies website, recommends both these companies and the Klinghardt Academy is close to Less EMF, so that seemed like a logical question. But they won't reveal who is involved with the company or who is getting paid to endorse this stuff. My biggest problem is their pictures are almost worthless, their product descriptions are usually wrong (like the measurements for their items are not what I measure them to be) and then they charge a 20% restocking fee if they send you the wrong item or it doesn't match what they say it is. The problem is they don't even tell you this before ordering, I only found this out after reading all the negative reviews for Less EMF online. In the last week Less EMF removed the "reviews" function from their Facebook page because they received so many negative reviews they are trying to hide what they are doing. This company has some amazing materials that are extremely effective. After having 7-8 excellent experiences (I have technical rooms with sensitive equipment that requires high end shielding), I have been able mitigate my issues for a fraction of the cost than my RF engineers and EMF consultants tell me. Saving money by installing it yourself can be tricky, but when done right, you save a bundle! I have also worked with a bunch of other companies in the same field, and these guys are the ONLY ones who will work with you step-by-step and make sure you know your meter, and understand how to use their products. This is NOT a company like Amazon based purely on customer service, and sales generation. This is a company based on SCIENCE and REALITY, that has shown me amazing assistance with items that I can prove are working. I also find it odd that when I read other reviews, they are almost all bad, and from the state of California? Trends like this tend to indicate something other than a poor job by the company.... Some reviews are by people who do not have a working knowledge of the physics of EMF. Please people, do your due diligence and research how shielding works. I took the EMF consulting course from the Institute of BauBiology, as well have an extended degree in the field of physics. It seems most of you want quick fixes that completely eliminate EMF. STAY AWAY!!! This company is terrible and should go out of business. Not the best way to keep a business seeing that you can get this stuff cheaper on Amazon. But I decided to give them business bc I'm trying not to support amazon and give the money to the small guys. I also follow klinghardts work and recommend these types of products to clients. So Wow! Big mistake by this company they just lost not only a customer but potentially hundreds. I ordered a Swiss shield and it came to my house and my client was sick. The Swiss shield came and I called them and told them I had to return it because it wasn't what was promised online. The guy basically yelled at me and said there was a restocking fee of $400. This was never on their website and in their documentation!! !! You serious! I These products are for people that are sick and need help. I called my credit card company to reverse it. I shipped it back to them in the mail and for some reason this 400 was charged. Horrible people!! Bad business practices. Stay away. Go with another company like the one in Canada or just throw in the chips and go with amazon. At least you don't have to deal with mean people, people that don't care about clients that are truly ill. Enjoy stealing your $400 dollar restocking fee. I have bought several products from this company over the years such as various meters and shielding fabric. My impression of the company is (rightly or wrongly) a mom and pop shop (without the mom) and the pop is an older engineer without much patience to bring science down to the non-scientist. Or maybe he just doesn't have time. Still, though, the product range is impressive and the owner's breadth of knowledge seems extensive. A basic search function is now on the website but many of the products have limited descriptions. I have sympathy for a small company needing to charge restocking fees and hope he is willing and can continue to stay in business while going against a monster like Amazon with their no-problem return policy. It's one thing to find a meter cheaper on Amazon but quite another to be able to find all these useful products in one place, most of which I've only found on the Less EMF website. Home Depot started out with quality but once it took over the hardware market the selection became much more limited and of lower quality. Living in an area of high EMF, my inflamed, painful, toe joints caused me to order, in desperation, a pair of EMF-shielding socks from Less EMF to wear night and day - hopefully to alleviate my toe joint pain. Those socks were amazing! My joint pain improved to the point of being nonexistent when I wore the socks. Trouble is, I only had one pair of those socks so when i washed them, my toe joint pain would return in their absence. I have washed the socks several times (by hand) and hung them up to dry: I see no change in their proven ability to shield my toes from the pain-causing EMF. The only issue I have had with the socks is that they are a little tight on my lower calves - would have preferred greater width, but I wear them rolled down so that takes care of that issue. People with super wide feet might not be able to wear these socks comfortably. I am grateful for the help these EMF-blocking socks have provided me and plan to order more EMF-blocking clothing from this company. read more
