Yucaipas Leslie's pool supply is the worst. Associates are like lazy! I ordered items thru there app yesterday and paid for the items to be picked up from the store cause the app said the items were available. I called the store today to validate my items are pulled so i can run in and run out. The employee first tells me she hasn't pulled any items cause she's been busy. I then explained but i ordered this yesterday. Then she tells me she hasn't received any online orders. I explained that the app said the items were available at the store, thus why i selected in store pick up. The employee then explains that she doesn't have the items in her store? I asked how come the app said they do? The employee then explains she can't pull the items from her store cause it would be like stealing. They would have to receive the items shipped to her? Not the first time, I've dealt with their laziness BS! I'd recommend FIND another pool supply name or drive further for a better Leslie's store. read more

Very clean and well stocked! Went in for a patch kit and left with some Hawaiian Sunset scented aroma therapy for the spa also. Love the personality and friendly banter with Chris. We live in Cherry Valley so we could have easily gone to the one in Beaumont but the clerks there are too busy on their cell phone to help out. What a shame. We installed a hot tub and pool. We were having an issue getting water in pool as clear as it should be. The installer wasn't much help. We called Leslie's and then took a water sample to them. They not only diagnosed the problem but gave us a bunch of water quality tips. This was all in a low pressure conversation. They told us the chemicals we were using were good quality and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need at the moment. Their suggestion for water clarity was effective and solved our issue. The people there seem very knowledgeable and anxious to help. Glad they are close to us because I know over time we will need help / supplies. read more

Below was my original one star review. However, I contacted the corporate office and my issue was resolved. Thus, they now deserve 5 stars. The store offered a refund and were very professional and it is much appreciated. This is definitely the customer service I'd expect from a good organization. Thank you for addressing the issue very promptly. Be aware if you potentially have to return a purchased item as they may not take it back. Very disappointed. I purchased some nose plugs that did not fit and stay on. I went to return them and they would not take them back stating they were open. How else are you suppose to know if they fit correctly? When I attempted the return, the response was, "Well, I can't resell these?" For $6.45? Really? I would imagine that a $6.00 write off is better than the loss of a customer and poor Yelp review. I understand it's a small local business, but as a business owner, returns should be an expectation and providing quality customer service should supersede a $6.00 loss. Too bad. My husband went in today and experienced the following: This store has horrible customer service, unhelpful and rude staff. On my way in to get weekly shock chemicals I noticed I may have interrupted an employee from taking a smoke break. I purchased my shock and inquired about a product they had in the store when an employee (an older man) made it seem that I was inconveniencing him by asking about a product in the store. He was rushing me out by saying they didn't have what I was asking for. The service there is great. It's a full service shop and the people there are very thorough and nice. It's conveniently located and they stock a huge assortment of supplies and equipment for all your pool maintenance needs. The only knock is the price. I was able to purchase a Hayward Navigator Pro tune-up kit online for $33. I was looking at around $100 for similar products at Leslie's. I don't know the guy's name but he looks like Freddie Mercury, anyways, he is the first person I go to see come summer time. He hooks me up with whatever I need and answers all my questions. I go there about twice a month to have my water tested. He never gets upset when I tell him I have whatever chemicals I may be lacking. When I do need chemicals of course I buy them there. Visited my hometown Leslie's to get our pool water tested. Chris assisted me and was extremely knowledgeable about the steps and products needed to correct our water concerns. Afterwards, we were looking at their selection of pool sweeps. Brandon was very helpful describing the different options. Chris also provided additional insight into the various machines. Later that evening, we returned to purchase the MX8 Elite cleaner as it was the final day of the instant rebate offer and the price for the pool cleaner was good. About a week later, I returned to purchase an umbrella and talk to Chris about the cleaner. The cleaner wasn't climbing the walls or steps as advertised. He advised me to turn up the flow to the sweeper. I did so and it is climbing much better now. I haven't seen it climb the steps or tanning deck yet but fingers crossed. Went to Redlands Leslie's a day later and everything he said was wrong w/ my pool WASNT!!So until Chris is fired or transferred I and a handful of other Yucaipa residents will go out of our way to the Redlands store so we don't have to deal with Chris. Gave the employee on the phone three different part numbers and he said they had them all just come down to check the height. After a 15 minute drive it turns out that the did not have any of this type filter in stock but wanted to order for me. Deceptive practices to get me in the store.... could and will order myself online and save a ton. Will never shop at Leslie's again. read more
