Before we moved in, we replaced all of the flooring, except for bathrooms. We went with a high quality laminate. Stafford's had better prices than the competition on material and installation. I have found no issues with the installation and recommend them. read more

It was a pleasure dealing with your company for our flooring project! All of you (John, Pedro, George Sr. & George Jr.) have been patient, polite and very professional. You guys installed our carpet when we first moved into our home in 2004 and we loved our carpet so we chose to use you again. We didn't even entertain any other quotes and so glad that I did not. We went with my gut and very happy we did. The guys are still here working today, but I wanted to make sure that you knew how great the Georges are: they show up early everyday and work hard ALL day and most importantly, seem happy to be working for Stafford. They also do EXCELLENT work!!! read more

This is a great company! They are extremely professional and organized. I have used them two different times to do my flooring and carpets, we live in Beaumont. Just an all-around great company and I've had great experiences with them. read more

Cleanliness 5 Cost 5 Cuisine NA Customer service 5 We were recommended to this company from our friend who is in the business of flooring. We mainly talked with Pedro who was excellent on explaining the types of flooring. We were not pressured to buy something we didn't want. We decided to buy the tile from them. The only complaint I have is that they ordered way too much tile. After the job was finished, we still had 10 boxes of tile left. I returned some but there was a 25% restocking fee. I would give them a try if you are in the market for flooring. UPDATE- Sooo Staffords got in touch with us after they read our review and offered to refund the restocking fee if we took pictures of all the areas they measured to make sure we did tile all those areas. We did, and received our 25% restocking fee. read more

They are very professional & reasonable prices. They are good at following up & are always on time!

Stafford's recently installed new carpeting in our home and I couldn't be more pleased. They have many samples from which to chose and qualified employees to answer any questions. Their professionalism and punctuality made the entire process from start to finish seamless. The installers, Alex G., Franco and Jose were great, too. They did a fantastic job installing the carpet and cleaning up afterwards. I would most assuredly recommend this company and would use them again for any other flooring needs in the future. . read more

Everyone is nice in store. Plenty of samples in their store to pick from. Quick easy to get an appointment for an estimate. Showed up on time. They email it to you within 24hours after they leave from measuring your areas you want new flooring in. We did not go with them because their prices were waaay more than our other quotes. They were our last estimate in our flooring journey. We decided on another company we signed with today. I thought they'd have amazing prices since it's called Discount but I was wrong it was the highest quote we got out of 5 companies. read more

We've worked with the owner, Jason Stafford, for years now. In the real estate business and have referred twenty or thirty clients to Stafford's. They consistently deliver the best quality at a fair price. Most importantly, they are the most knowledgeable flooring experts we've ever worked with. It's important that our referral partners deliver the same level of professionalism, competency, and certainty of execution that we deliver to our clients. Stafford's always comes through with flying colors. read more

Finally old school customer service and quality at a GREAT price! After getting a quote to completely redo the flooring in a 2800+ sq foot house, with carpet and simulated wood laminate planks, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. Boy am I glad I did! A friend recommended Stafford's and I saved several THOUSAND dollars from the first estimate! The material was top grade and the craftsmanship of the instillation was impeccable! The only reason I gave Stafford's a five star rating was because six stars wasn't an option! Thanks Roger, Jason and Pedro for going above and beyond! read more

In response to the comment left by Stafford's: Stafford: We certainly apologize if we have caused anybody hardship issues with flooring installed by our company. We strive to take care of our customers, and we do our best to resolve all issues with our products and installations. Unfortunately, this review on yelp was the first we heard of this issue. My response: Actually we did reach out to Stafford's to try to rectify the issue. Months after the installation, I noticed that the wood floor was lifting off of the concrete base in one section. (it made a hollow sound when you tapped on it as opposed to the other parts) Soon, the color of the wood started turning darker in that area as well. We contacted Stafford's and their first response was to tell us that it was an insurance matter and that we had to file a claim. We then contacted our insurance company and they sent out someone to examine the floors and do tests. He also asked us if we had had any flooding or water leaks, which we had none. Our insurance company came back and said that it was not an insurance matter and that it was an installation issue. (I trust our insurance company - I've had a relationship with them since 1989, they've always taken care of me.) So we contacted Stafford's again. We were then told that it was installed properly and that it was not their issue. Stafford: We have reached out to these people to identify, and resolve, to no avail. My response: this comment is the first we have heard from Stafford since I posted this review. I respond to all my Yelp notifications pretty quickly. So, no, Stafford did not try to communicate with us through Yelp. Stafford: Stafford's Carpets did not have the opportunity to fix this problem, or prevent these negative comments. If G.C. would have responded to our efforts to communicate with them at least we could know who they are and where/if we are certainly to blame for their hardship. My response: Actually yes you did have an opportunity to fix the problem but that didn't happen. It was only way after that that I posted this review. Again, this is the first attempt by Stafford to communicate with me through Yelp. And see how fast I responded. And yes this did cause us some hardship. That flooring wasn't cheap. It's all moot now anyway, as we were forced to sell the house. I was laid off during the bad economy. We couldn't afford to replace the floors which affected our ability to rent out the house when we had to move closer to job opportunities. We ended up having to do a short sale. Stafford: Please see the "hidden" comments below to see several positive reviews of customers we know. My response: Yes, please see the "hidden" comments. Yelp will probably say that they are hidden for a reason. I have nothing to do with that. I left a review of my experience and I stand by that review. Last note: The thing to remember is that great customer service is displayed not when things are awesome and going well. That's easy. It's when things have gone wrong. That is how you can tell if the company has great customer service. read more

Stafford's Discount Carpets - wood floor directly on concrete slab, no moisture barrier - Carpeting Near Me - Redlands, California

Last year, we had an AC leak that ruined part of our wood flooring, and after spending a LOT of time getting input and quotes, we ultimately signed with Stafford's to replace the damaged wood and also to extend the wood into our four bedrooms (which were at the time carpeted). The staff at Stafford's was very patient with us as we went through the process of figuring out which product was right for us. They even suggested a few less expensive products that were similar to the one we really liked but was on the higher end price wise. In the end, we went with the one we liked, and now, several months later, we are still thrilled with our choice. The process of installation wasn't perfect, but that's mostly because installation of anything is always a painful process. It didn't help that we were in the middle of Covid restrictions; having people in and out of the house (where we were working and attending school) wasn't fun. On top of the installers that Stafford's contract with, we had AC people, drywall people, painters, remediation, etc. We also had a newly adopted cat that was with us for ONE DAY before the leak and all heck broke loose. Anyway, we had a few issues with the installers, but the folks at Stafford's were very responsive to our concerns and did a great job smoothing things over. Several months later, we noticed a couple of chips (where the natural knots were), and Pedro from Stafford's came right out and fixed them for us. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for quality flooring at a reasonable price. read more

Did a great quick job and was very happy with the result. Pedro was great to work with as well.

I recently got new flooring put in by these guys. My experience couldn't have been better. First, my in store experience was great. They answered all my questions and were very patient while I agonized trying to pick what I wanted, (so many choices, LOL). Once I finally decided they ordered the material and gave me an installation date. They showed up right on time. They got the job done in the amount of time estimated, (3 days). The installers were very nice and cleaned up everyday. My floors look beautiful. I am completely satisfied. I recommend these guys highly! read more

I heard rumors that this place had the lowest prices and I mean lowest. Yup they do. After a few other quotes from places in Beaumont all the way to Redlands, this store had em' beat big time! The guys that work here also have excellent customer service skills and are professionals. And I like that they play Christian music in their store and aren't ashamed of the Lord:) read more

Decades ago in another life I owned a carpet store. And I was an installer. Now that I'm a therapist I'm trying to remodel my clinic. The thought of having to go into different carpet stores was something I was trying to avoid. I know what to expect. people who hate their jobs, hate waking up in the morning and facing another day of working out a carpet store, and it's just so depressing to go into these places. sure enough... I went to three places. I was met with dour faces and lackluster enthusiasm for anything. And of course nobody knows anything. Then I found this place. The owner is enthusiastic and willing and ready and able to help. What makes it so much better is that my project was very small. Just one small tiny room and I was going to install it myself. There's no real money for him in helping me with my little project. But He gave me the same enthusiastic help that I would expect if I was installing an entire house with carpet. That is real customer service! When I am ready for a big project guess where I'm going? He establishes relationships before he tries to sell you carpet. Well done! read more

I have made several purchases from them over the years... to many to count. This company is top notch. They have integrity. Very very knowledgeable in all types of flooring. A+++. If it was possible I would give this account 10 stars. I am a customer for life. Love you guys. read more

I don't understand that last review because my husband and I have used Stafford's for years now for our home and the two rentals we have and have had nothing but great service! They guys installed it knew the job well and it has held up very good over the years! read more

I own a real estate office in downtown Redlands. We often refer our clients to Staffords. We sell mostly resale homes so that means new flooring is often a need to either market the home or to change to the buyer's taste when they move in.I also use Staffords for our rental properties. They just did a lovely installation in the sun room at my own home. This is a friendly, family owned and operated business with a nice showroom. read more

5 stars is not enough for Staffords! I have never picked out flooring or carpet before, walking in I felt like I had no idea what I was doing, I was quickly put at ease by Jason and his staff. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They worked with me every step of the way. When it came to installation they were right on time and followed the timeframe they gave me to the tee. My flooring and carpet are beautiful. I would highly recommend Staffords. Excellent customer service as well as reasonable prices. read more

Absolutely great service, installation, communication and follow through. Jason did a great job walking us through choices of flooring, and although we had to wait on back ordered tile, they communicated well through the process and we knew what was happening and when. Both carpet and tile installers were easy to communicate with, listened to concerns, and did a stellar job on their installations. Our flooring looks great and we couldn't be more pleased. read more

Staffords Discount Carpets have moved to a new location in Redlands off of Redlands Blvd. I pastor New Life Foursquare Church and we have used Staffords twice in the eight years I have been here. They removed old carpet from the offices and installed new carpet and linoleum in the walk ways and kitchen. This was done 7 1/2 years ago and still looks great. More recently Staffords replaced the carpet in the church entry, sanctuary, and fellowship hall. Again, they did a great job. I recently had carpet installed by Stafford's and am very disappointed with the entire experience. The young salesman I purchased from didn't ask what I was looking for in a carpet or give me information on how to choose a carpet. I told him I wanted something comparable to what I had, but in a darker color. I asked for several samples in the color range I wanted. The sample I chose appears thicker than what was eventually installed. The installers told me he was new to selling carpet. After installation, I found the carpet to be extremely thin and walking on it feels almost like walking on a hard floor. There were also problems with the installation, including a hole next to the baseboard in one area. The overlap on the side of each stair is crooked. I called the salesman, but he didn't return my call. I called again and talked with the owners, who turned out to be his parents. They came to my house to do a "carpet inspection". Mr. Stafford was pleasant, but said there was nothing he could do to resolve the situation. He tried to show me there was a difference between a hard floor and the installed carpet. His wife came across as rude and seemed angry at me for suggesting that her son had not communicated properly. She told me not to talk about him. I realized at this point that if they weren't willing to listen to the issues, there would be no resolution. They asked for a sample of the carpet which I will drop off to them. They told me they couldn't come back until August to fix the installation problems. I'm still waiting to hear from them with a date. I usually choose Better Business Bureau accredited companies to do business with. Unfortunately, this company is not accredited. Choosing this company has been a costly mistake and a negative experience. Poor communication, installation errors and poor quality carpet. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Stafford Carpets is new to the Redlands area. But their customer service outweighs the small town we live in! They were there each time I had a question (which I always have more than one), for everyone budget I would change and was patient when ever I decided to pick other type/color flooring out. They treated me like family instead of a customer. After installation, they took the time to call and check up on the work, quality and our satisfaction. We had the pleasure of working with most of the Stafford family through our flooring experience and we love being able to support LOCAL! Stafford Carpets fits well in our small town, but gives large satisfaction! read more
